Глава 36

1 Вот родословие Исава (он же Эдом).

2 Исав взял себе жен из Ханаана: Аду, дочь хетта Елона, Оголиваму, дочь Аны и внучку хиввея Цивеона,

3 а также Басемату, дочь Измаила, сестру Невайота.

4 Ада родила Исаву Элифаза, Басемата родила Рагуила,

5 Оголивама родила Иеуша, Ялама и Кораха. Это сыновья Исава, рожденные ему в Ханаане.

6 Исав взял своих жен, сыновей, дочерей и всех домашних, взял стада, скот и все имущество, которое он приобрел в Ханаане, и перебрался в другую землю на некоторое расстояние от своего брата Иакова,

7 потому что у них было слишком много добра, чтобы им оставаться вместе. У них было столько скота, что земля, где они жили пришельцами, не могла прокормить их обоих.

8 Так Исав (он же Эдом) поселился в нагорьях Сеира.

9 Вот родословие Исава, отца эдомитян, жившего в нагорьях Сеира.

10 Вот имена сыновей Исава: Элифаз, сын Исава от его жены Ады, Рагуил, сын Исава от его жены Басематы.

11 Сыновья Элифаза: Теман, Омар, Цефо, Гатам и Кеназ.

12 У сына Исава Элифаза была наложница по имени Тимна, которая родила ему Амалика. Это внуки Исавовой жены Ады.

13 Сыновья Рагуила: Нахат, Зерах, Шамма и Миза. Это внуки Исавовой жены Басематы.

14 Сыновья Исава от его жены Оголивамы, дочери Аны и внучки Цивеона, которых она родила Исаву: Иеуш, Ялам и Корах.

15 Вот вожди среди потомков Исава. Сыновья Элифаза, первенца Исава: вожди Теман, Омар, Цефо, Кеназ,

16 Корах, Гатам и Амалик. Это вожди, произошедшие от Элифаза в Эдоме; они были внуками Ады.

17 Сыновья Рагуила, Исавова сына: вожди Нахат, Зерах, Шамма и Миза. Это вожди, произошедшие от Рагуила в Эдоме; они были внуками Исавовой жены Басематы.

18 Сыновья Исава от его жены Оголивамы: вожди Иеуш, Ялам и Корах. Это вожди, произошедшие от Исавовой жены Оголивамы, дочери Аны.

19 Вот сыновья Исава (он же Эдом) и вот их вожди.

20 Вот сыновья Сеира хоррея, жившие в той области: Лотан, Шовал, Цивеон, Ана,

21 Дишон, Ецер и Дишан. Эти сыновья Сеира в Эдоме были вождями хорреев.

22 Сыновья Лотана: Хори и Гомам. Сестрой Лотана была Тимна.

23 Сыновья Шовала: Алван, Манахат, Евал, Шефо и Онам.

24 Сыновья Цивеона: Айя и Ана. Это тот Ана, который открыл в пустыне горячие ключи, когда пас ослов своего отца Цивеона.

25 Дети Аны: Дишон и Оголивама, дочь Аны.

26 Сыновья Дишона: Хемдан, Эшбан, Ифран и Херан.

27 Сыновья Ецера: Билган, Зааван и Акан.

28 Сыновья Дишана: Уц и Аран.

29 Вот вожди хорреев: Лотан, Шовал, Цивеон, Ана,

30 Дишон, Ецер и Дишан. Они были вождями хорреев по родам их в земле Сеир.

31 Вот цари, которые правили в Эдоме, еще до того, как в Израиле появились цари:

32 Бела, сын Беора, был царем в Эдоме. Его город назывался Дингава.

33 После смерти Белы царем вместо него стал Иовав, сын Зераха, из Боцры.

34 После смерти Иовава царем вместо него стал Хушам из земли теманитян.

35 После смерти Хушама царем вместо него стал Гадад, сын Бедада, который разбил мадианитян в земле Моава. Его город назывался Авит.

36 После смерти Гадада царем вместо него стал Самла из Масреки.

37 После смерти Самлы царем вместо него стал Саул из Реховота, что у реки.

38 После смерти Саула царем вместо него стал Баал-Ханан, сын Ахбора.

39 После смерти Баал-Ханана, сына Ахбора, царем вместо него стал Гадад. Его город назывался Пау, а имя его жены было Мегетавель; она была дочерью Матреды, внучкой Мезагава.

40 Вот имена вождей — потомков Исава, по их кланам и землям, поименно: Тимна, Алва, Иетет,

41 Оголивама, Эла, Пинон,

42 Кеназ, Теман, Мивцар,

43 Магдиил и Ирам. Это вожди Эдома по их поселениям в земле, которой они владеют. Это был Исав — отец эдомитян.

Chapter 36

1 NOW these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom.

2 Esau took his wives from among the daughters of Canaan: Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, the son of Zibeon the Hivite;

3 And Bismath, Ishmael's daughter, sister of Nebioth.

4 And Adah bore to Esau Eliphaz; and Bismath bore Reuel;

5 And Aholibamah bore Jeush, Jaalan, and Korah; these are the sons of Esau that were born to him in the land of Canaan.

6 And Esau took his wives, his sons, his daughters, and all the persons of his household, and all his cattle, and all the wealth which he had acquired in the land of Canaan; and went to the land of Seir from the presence of his brother Jacob.

7 For their wealth was too great for them to dwell together; and the land in which they sojourned could not sustain them because of their cattle.

8 Thus Esau dwelt in mount Seir; Esau is Edom.

9 And these are the generations of Esau the father of the Edomites in mount Seir;

10 These are the names of Esau's sons: Eliphaz the son of Adah the wife of Esau, Reuel the son of Bismath the wife of Esau.

11 And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatham, and Kenaz.

12 And Timna was a concubine of Eliphaz, Esau's son; and she bore to Eliphaz Amalek. These were the sons of Adah, Esau's wife.

13 And these are the sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah; these were the sons of Bismath, Esau's wife.

14 These are the sons of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah the son of Zibeon, Esau's wife; and she bore to Esau Jeush, Jaalan, and Korah.

15 These are the chiefs of the sons of Esau, the sons of Eliphaz the first-born of Esau: chief Teman, chief Omar, chief Zepho, chief Kenaz,

16 Chief Gatham, chief Korah, and chief Amalek; these are the chiefs that came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom; these were the sons of Adah.

17 And these are the sons of Reuel, Esau's son: chief Nahath, chief Zerah, chief Shammah, and chief Mizzah; these are the chiefs that came of Reuel in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Bismath, Esau's wife.

18 These are the sons of Aholibamah, Esau's wife: chief Jeush, chief Jaalan, and chief Korah; these were the sons of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah, Esau's wife.

19 These are the sons of Esau, who is Edom, and these are their chiefs.

20 These are the sons of Seir the Horite, the inhabitants of the land: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,

21 Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan; these are the chiefs of the Horites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.

22 And the sons of Lotan were Hori and Heman; and Lotan's sister was Timna.

23 These are the sons of Shobal: Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shapar, and Oiam.

24 And these are the sons of Zibeon: Ana and Anah; he is the Anah who discovered water in the desert while he was feeding the asses of Zibeon his father.

25 These are the children of Anah: Dishon and Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah.

26 These are the sons of Dishon: Hemran, Eshban, Ithran, and Cheran.

27 These are the sons of Ezer: Bilhan, Zaavan, and Akan.

28 These are the sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.

29 These are the chiefs of the Horites: chief Lotan, chief Shobal, chief Zibeon, chief Anah,

30 Chief Dishon, chief Ezer, and chief Dishan; these are the chiefs of the Horites, according to their chiefs in the land of Seir.

31 And these are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel:

32 Bela, the son of Beor, reigned in Edom; and the name of his city was Dihab.

33 And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

34 And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of Teman reigned in his stead.

35 And Husham died, and Hadad, the son of Bedad, who smote the Midianites in the fields of Moab, reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Gevith.

36 And Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.

37 And Samlah died, and Saul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.

38 And Saul died, and Baal-hanan, the son of Abcor, reigned in his stead.

39 And Baal-hanan, the son of Abcor died, and Hadad reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Pau; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.

40 And these are the names of the chiefs of Esau, according to their families, and according to their generations, by their names: chief Timnah, chief Anvah, chief Jetheth,

41 Chief Aholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,

42 Chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,

43 Chief Magdiel, chief Giram; these are the chiefs of the Edomites, according to their habitations in the land of their possession; Edom is Esau the father of the Edomites.

6 Исав взял своих жен, сыновей, дочерей и всех домашних, взял стада, скот и все имущество, которое он приобрел в Ханаане, и перебрался в другую землю на некоторое расстояние от своего брата Иакова,	6 And Esau took his wives, his sons, his daughters, and all the persons of his household, and all his cattle, and all the wealth which he had acquired in the land of Canaan; and went to the land of Seir from the presence of his brother Jacob.
7 потому что у них было слишком много добра, чтобы им оставаться вместе. У них было столько скота, что земля, где они жили пришельцами, не могла прокормить их обоих.	7 For their wealth was too great for them to dwell together; and the land in which they sojourned could not sustain them because of their cattle.
8 Так Исав (он же Эдом) поселился в нагорьях Сеира.	8 Thus Esau dwelt in mount Seir; Esau is Edom.
9 Вот родословие Исава, отца эдомитян, жившего в нагорьях Сеира.	9 And these are the generations of Esau the father of the Edomites in mount Seir;
10 Вот имена сыновей Исава: Элифаз, сын Исава от его жены Ады, Рагуил, сын Исава от его жены Басематы.	10 These are the names of Esau's sons: Eliphaz the son of Adah the wife of Esau, Reuel the son of Bismath the wife of Esau.
11 Сыновья Элифаза: Теман, Омар, Цефо, Гатам и Кеназ.	11 And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatham, and Kenaz.
