1 Вот родословие Сима, Хама и Иафета, сыновей Ноя, у которых после потопа тоже родились сыновья.

2 Сыновья Иафета: Гомер, Магог, Мадай, Иаван, Тувал, Мешех и Тирас.

3 Сыновья Гомера: Ашкеназ, Рифат и Тогарма.

4 Сыновья Иавана: Элиша, Таршиш, Киттим и Роданим.

5 (От них произошли приморские народы и распространились по своим землям, среди своих народов; у каждого свой язык, свое племя).

6 Сыновья Хама: Куш, Мицраим, Пут и Ханаан.

7 Сыновья Куша: Сева, Хавила, Савта, Раама и Савтеха. Сыновья Раамы: Шева и Дедан.

8 Куш был отцом и Нимрода, который стал первым на земле могучим воином.

9 Он был величайшим охотником перед Господом, поэтому и говорится: «Величайший охотник перед Господом, как Нимрод».

10 Первыми городами в его царстве были Вавилон, Эрех, Аккад и Халне в Шинаре.

11 Из той земли он перешел в Ассирию, где построил Ниневию, Реховот-Ир, Калах

12 и Ресен, между Ниневией и Калахом — великий город.

13 Мицраим был отцом лудеев, анамеев, легавеев, нафтухеев,

14 патрусеев, каслухеев (от которых произошли филистимляне), и кафтореев.

15 Ханаан был отцом Сидона, первенца его, Хетта,

16 а также иевусеев, аморреев, гергесеев,

17 хиввеев, аркеев, синеев,

18 арвадеев, цемареев и хаматеев. Позже ханаанские племена рассеялись,

19 и границы Ханаана простирались от Сидона к Герару до Газы, а оттуда к Содому, Гоморре, Адме и Цевоиму до Лаши.

20 Таковы произошедшие от Хама народы по своим родам, со своим языком, в своих землях.

21 Родились сыновья и у Сима, старшего брата Иафета. Сим был предком всех сыновей Евера.

22 Сыновья Сима: Елам, Ашшур, Арпахшад, Луд и Арам.

23 Сыновья Арама: Уц, Хул, Гетер и Мешех.

24 У Арпахшада родился Шелах, а у Шелаха родился Евер.

25 У Евера родилось двое сыновей: одного звали Пелег (потому что в его дни земля была разделена), а его брата — Иоктан.

26 Иоктан был отцом Алмодада, Шалефа, Хацармавета, Иераха,

27 Гадорама, Узала, Диклы,

28 Овала, Авимаила, Шевы,

29 Офира, Хавилы и Иовава. Все они были сыновьями Иоктана.

30 Область, где они жили, простиралась от Меши до Сефара в восточных нагорьях.

31 Таковы произошедшие от Сима народы по своим родам, со своим языком, в своих землях.

32 Таковы племена сыновей Ноя, по их родословиям в их народах; от них после потопа произошли все народы на земле.

Chapter 10

1 NOW these are the descendants of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and to them were sons born after the flood.

2 The sons of Japheth were Gomer, Mongolia, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.

3 And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Diphar, and Togarmah.

4 And the sons of Javan: Elishah, Tarshish, China, and Doranim.

5 It was from these that the people were divided into the Islands of the Gentiles and their main lands; every one after his language, after their families, in their nations.

6 And the sons of Ham: Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.

7 And the sons of Cush: Sheba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabtechah. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba, and Daran.

8 And Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one on the earth.

9 He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod was a mighty hunter before the LORD.

10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babylon, Erech, Akhar, and Caliah, in the land of Sinar.

11 Out of Sinar went forth the Assyrian and built Nineveh, and the city of Rehoboth, and Calah,

12 And Resen which lies between Nineveh and Calah; the same is a great city.

13 And Mizraim begot Ludim and Anamim and Lehabim and Naphtuhim

14 And Pathrusim and Casluhim (out of whom came the Philistines) and Caphtorim.

15 And Canaan begot Sidon, his first-born, and Heth,

16 And the Jebusite, the Amorite, the Girgasite,

17 And the Havite, the Arkite, the Sinite,

18 And the Arvadite, the Zemarite, and the Hamathite; and afterward the families of the Canaanites spread abroad.

19 And the border of the Canaanites extended from Sidon, which is at the entrance of Gadar, as far as Gaza; which is at the entrance of Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, as far as Lasha.

20 These are the sons of Ham, after their families and their languages, in their lands and in their nations.

21 To Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the elder brother of Japheth, even to him were children born.

22 The sons of Shem: Elam, Asshur, Arphakhashar, Lud and Aram.

23 And the children of Aram: Uz, Hul, Gether, and Mash.

24 And Arphakhashar begot Shalah; and Shalah begot Eber.

25 And to Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.

26 And Joktan begot Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,

27 Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,

28 Obal, Abimael, and Sheba,

29 Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab; all these were sons of Joktan.

30 The lands which they inhabited extended from Mesha, which is at the entrance of Sepharvim, a mount in the east.

31 These are the sons of Shem, after their families, their languages, in their lands, after their nations.

32 These are the descendants of the sons of Noah, according to their families, in their nations: and from these the people spread abroad on the earth after the flood.

4 And the sons of Javan: Elishah, Tarshish, China, and Doranim.

5 It was from these that the people were divided into the Islands of the Gentiles and their main lands; every one after his language, after their families, in their nations.

6 Сыновья Хама: Куш, Мицраим, Пут и Ханаан.

6 And the sons of Ham: Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.

7 Сыновья Куша: Сева, Хавила, Савта, Раама и Савтеха. Сыновья Раамы: Шева и Дедан.

7 And the sons of Cush: Sheba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabtechah. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba, and Daran.

8 Куш был отцом и Нимрода, который стал первым на земле могучим воином.

8 And Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one on the earth.

9 Он был величайшим охотником перед Господом, поэтому и говорится: «Величайший охотник перед Господом, как Нимрод».

9 He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod was a mighty hunter before the LORD.

10 Первыми городами в его царстве были Вавилон, Эрех, Аккад и Халне в Шинаре.

10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babylon, Erech, Akhar, and Caliah, in the land of Sinar.

11 Из той земли он перешел в Ассирию, где построил Ниневию, Реховот-Ир, Калах

11 Out of Sinar went forth the Assyrian and built Nineveh, and the city of Rehoboth, and Calah,

12 и Ресен, между Ниневией и Калахом — великий город.

12 And Resen which lies between Nineveh and Calah; the same is a great city.

13 Мицраим был отцом лудеев, анамеев, легавеев, нафтухеев,

13 And Mizraim begot Ludim and Anamim and Lehabim and Naphtuhim

14 патрусеев, каслухеев (от которых произошли филистимляне), и кафтореев.

14 And Pathrusim and Casluhim (out of whom came the Philistines) and Caphtorim.

15 Ханаан был отцом Сидона, первенца его, Хетта,

15 And Canaan begot Sidon, his first-born, and Heth,

16 а также иевусеев, аморреев, гергесеев,

20 Таковы произошедшие от Хама народы по своим родам, со своим языком, в своих землях.

20 These are the sons of Ham, after their families and their languages, in their lands and in their nations.

21 Родились сыновья и у Сима, старшего брата Иафета. Сим был предком всех сыновей Евера.

21 To Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the elder brother of Japheth, even to him were children born.

22 Сыновья Сима: Елам, Ашшур, Арпахшад, Луд и Арам.

22 The sons of Shem: Elam, Asshur, Arphakhashar, Lud and Aram.

23 Сыновья Арама: Уц, Хул, Гетер и Мешех.

23 And the children of Aram: Uz, Hul, Gether, and Mash.

24 У Арпахшада родился Шелах, а у Шелаха родился Евер.

24 And Arphakhashar begot Shalah; and Shalah begot Eber.

25 У Евера родилось двое сыновей: одного звали Пелег (потому что в его дни земля была разделена), а его брата — Иоктан.

25 And to Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.

26 Иоктан был отцом Алмодада, Шалефа, Хацармавета, Иераха,

26 And Joktan begot Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,

27 Гадорама, Узала, Диклы,
