Глава 10

1 Господь сказал Моисею: — Пойди к фараону. Я сделал его сердце и сердца его приближенных упрямыми, чтобы сотворить среди них знамения,

2 чтобы ты мог потом рассказать детям и внукам, как сурово Я поступил с египтянами и как сотворил знамения среди них, и чтобы вы знали, что Я — Господь.

3 Моисей и Аарон пришли к фараону и сказали ему: — Так говорит Господь, Бог евреев: «Сколько ты будешь отказываться смириться предо Мной? Отпусти Мой народ поклониться Мне.

4 Если ты откажешься, то завтра Я наведу на твою страну саранчу.

5 Она покроет поверхность земли так, что ее не будет видно. Она сожрет все то немногое, что осталось у вас после града, и даже деревья, которые растут у вас в полях.

6 Она заполнит твои дворцы, дома твоих приближенных и дома всех египтян; такого не видели ни твои отцы, ни деды с того дня, как поселились в этой земле, и до сегодняшнего дня». Моисей повернулся и ушел от фараона.

7 Приближенные фараона сказали ему: — Сколько еще этот человек будет держать нас в своих сетях? Отпусти этих людей поклониться Господу, Богу их. Разве ты все еще не видишь, что Египет гибнет?

8 Тогда Моисея и Аарона вернули к фараону. — Пойдите, поклонитесь Господу, вашему Богу, — сказал он. — Только кто же из вас пойдет?

9 Моисей ответил: — Мы пойдем с детьми и стариками, с сыновьями и дочерьми, с отарами и стадами: ведь у нас праздник Господу.

10 Фараон сказал: — Пусть так будет с вами Господь, как я отпущу вас с женщинами и детьми! Берегитесь, вас ждут большие неприятности.

11 Нет уж! Пусть одни мужчины пойдут поклоняться Господу, раз вы об этом просите. И Моисея с Аароном выгнали от фараона.

12 Господь сказал Моисею: — Протяни руку над египетской землей — и появится саранча. Она сожрет все, что растет в полях, все то, что уцелело после града.

13 Моисей простер посох над Египтом, и Господь навел на землю восточный ветер, который дул весь день и всю ночь. К утру ветер принес саранчу.

14 Она напала на Египет, опустившись на страну в огромном количестве. Такого нашествия саранчи не бывало прежде и не будет впредь.

15 Она покрыла всю землю так, что земля почернела. Она сожрала все, что осталось после града — все, что росло в полях, и плоды на деревьях. Ни на дереве, ни на каком другом растении во всем Египте не осталось зелени.

16 Фараон спешно позвал Моисея и Аарона и сказал: — Я согрешил перед Господом, вашим Богом, и перед вами.

17 Простите мой грех всего лишь еще один раз. Помолитесь Господу, вашему Богу, чтобы Он избавил меня от этого несчастья.

18 Моисей ушел от фараона и помолился Господу.

19 Господь переменил ветер на очень сильный морской ветер, который подхватил саранчу и унес в Красное море. В Египте совсем не осталось саранчи.

20 Но Господь сделал сердце фараона упрямым, и он не отпустил израильтян.

21 Господь сказал Моисею: — Подними руку к небу — и на Египет ляжет тьма, осязаемая тьма.

22 Моисей поднял руку к небу, и непроницаемая тьма покрыла Египет на три дня.

23 Люди не могли ни видеть друг друга, ни передвигаться в течение трех дней. А у израильтян, там, где они жили, был свет.

24 Тогда фараон позвал Моисея и сказал: — Идите, поклонитесь Господу. Оставьте здесь лишь ваши отары и стада, а женщины и дети пусть идут с вами.

25 Моисей сказал: — Ты должен отпустить с нами скот, чтобы мы принесли жертвы и всесожжения Господу, нашему Богу!

26 Весь наш скот должен пойти с нами, не останется и копыта. Там мы отберем животных для жертвы Господу, нашему Богу, а пока мы не придем туда, мы не будем знать, каких животных следует принести в жертву Господу.

27 Господь сделал сердце фараона упрямым, и он не захотел отпускать их.

28 Он сказал Моисею: — Прочь с глаз моих! Не смей являться пред лицо мое! В тот день, когда ты увидешь мое лицо, ты умрешь.

29 — Верно, — ответил Моисей. — Больше я не увижу твоего лица.

Chapter 10

1 AND the LORD said to Moses, Go in to Pharaoh; for I have hardened his heart and the hearts of his servants, that I may perform these signs among them,

2 That you may relate in the presence of your son and of your son's son the things which I have done to the Egyptians and the signs which I have performed among them, that you may know that I am the LORD.

3 And Moses and Aaron came to Pharaoh, and said to him, Thus says the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long will you refuse to fear me? Let my people go that they may serve me.

4 Else, if you refuse to let my people go, behold, tomorrow I will bring locusts upon all Four domain;

5 And they shall cover the face of the land so that men cannot see the ground; and they shall eat the residue of that which is left to you from the hail and shall eat all the trees which have budded for you in the field;

6 And they shall fill your houses and the houses of your servants and the houses of all the Egyptians such as neither your fathers nor your grand fathers have seen, from the day that they were upon the earth even to this day. And they turned, and went out from the presence of Pharaoh.

7 And Pharaoh's servants said to him, How long shall we suffer this disaster? Let the men go that they may serve the LORD their God; do you not yet know that Egypt is destroyed?

8 So Moses and Aaron were brought again to Pharaoh; and he said to them, Go, serve before the LORD your God; but who are they that are going?

9 And Moses said to him, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters; with our flocks and with our herds will we go, for it is a festival of the LORD for all of us.

10 And Pharaoh said to them, Let the LORD be with you, but when I let you and your little ones go, look to it; perhaps you have evil intent.

11 Let it not be so; go now, the older men, and serve before the LORD; for it is the rest that you desire. And they were driven out from Pharaoh's presence.

12 And the LORD said to Moses, Lift up your hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Egypt and eat the herbs of the land, even all that the hail has left.

13 And Moses lifted up his staff over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind upon the land all that day and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.

14 And the locusts went up over all the land of Egypt and rested in all the domain of the Egyptians; it was a great swarm; before them there were no such swarms of locusts as they, neither after them shall be such.

15 For they covered the face of the whole earth so that the land was darkened; and they did eat all the herbs of the land and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left; and there remained no leaf on the trees neither grass in the field, through al the land of Egypt.

16 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron in haste; and he said to them, I have sinned against the LORD your God and against you.

17 Now therefore, forgive me my fault this time also, and pray before the LORD your God that he may re move from me this death.

18 And Moses went out from the presence of Pharaoh and prayed be fore the LORD.

19 And the LORD turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts and cast them into the Red Sea; there remained not one locust in all the domain of Egypt.

20 But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart so that he would not let the children of Israel go.

21 Then the LORD said to Moses, Lift up your hand toward the heaven that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even thick darkness.

22 And Moses lifted up his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days;

23 They did not see one another, nor rose any from his place for three days; but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.

24 And Pharaoh called to Moses and said to him, Go, serve before the LORD your God; only let your flocks and herds remain here; let your little ones also go with you.

25 Then Moses said to Pharaoh. You must give us also sacrifices and burnt offerings that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God.

26 Our cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for thereof must we take to serve before the LORD our God; and we do not know what else we must offer to the LORD until we come there.

27 But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart and he would not let them go.

28 And Pharaoh said to Moses. Get away from here, take heed to yourself, do not try to see my face again,

29 And Moses said, You have spoken well, I will not try to see your face any more.

2 чтобы ты мог потом рассказать детям и внукам, как сурово Я поступил с египтянами и как сотворил знамения среди них, и чтобы вы знали, что Я — Господь.	2 That you may relate in the presence of your son and of your son's son the things which I have done to the Egyptians and the signs which I have performed among them, that you may know that I am the LORD.
3 Моисей и Аарон пришли к фараону и сказали ему: — Так говорит Господь, Бог евреев: «Сколько ты будешь отказываться смириться предо Мной? Отпусти Мой народ поклониться Мне.	3 And Moses and Aaron came to Pharaoh, and said to him, Thus says the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long will you refuse to fear me? Let my people go that they may serve me.
4 Если ты откажешься, то завтра Я наведу на твою страну саранчу.	4 Else, if you refuse to let my people go, behold, tomorrow I will bring locusts upon all Four domain;
5 Она покроет поверхность земли так, что ее не будет видно. Она сожрет все то немногое, что осталось у вас после града, и даже деревья, которые растут у вас в полях.	5 And they shall cover the face of the land so that men cannot see the ground; and they shall eat the residue of that which is left to you from the hail and shall eat all the trees which have budded for you in the field;

And they turned, and went out from the presence of Pharaoh.
7 Приближенные фараона сказали ему: — Сколько еще этот человек будет держать нас в своих сетях? Отпусти этих людей поклониться Господу, Богу их. Разве ты все еще не видишь, что Египет гибнет?	7 And Pharaoh's servants said to him, How long shall we suffer this disaster? Let the men go that they may serve the LORD their God; do you not yet know that Egypt is destroyed?
8 Тогда Моисея и Аарона вернули к фараону. — Пойдите, поклонитесь Господу, вашему Богу, — сказал он. — Только кто же из вас пойдет?	8 So Moses and Aaron were brought again to Pharaoh; and he said to them, Go, serve before the LORD your God; but who are they that are going?
9 Моисей ответил: — Мы пойдем с детьми и стариками, с сыновьями и дочерьми, с отарами и стадами: ведь у нас праздник Господу.	9 And Moses said to him, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters; with our flocks and with our herds will we go, for it is a festival of the LORD for all of us.
10 Фараон сказал: — Пусть так будет с вами Господь, как я отпущу вас с женщинами и детьми! Берегитесь, вас ждут большие неприятности.	10 And Pharaoh said to them, Let the LORD be with you, but when I let you and your little ones go, look to it; perhaps you have evil intent.
11 Нет уж! Пусть одни мужчины пойдут поклоняться Господу, раз вы об этом просите. И Моисея с Аароном выгнали от фараона.	11 Let it not be so; go now, the older men, and serve before the LORD; for it is the rest that you desire. And they were driven out from Pharaoh's presence.
12 Господь сказал Моисею: — Протяни руку над египетской землей — и появится саранча. Она сожрет все, что растет в полях, все то, что уцелело после града.	12 And the LORD said to Moses, Lift up your hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Egypt and eat the herbs of the land, even all that the hail has left.
13 Моисей простер посох над Египтом, и Господь навел на землю восточный ветер, который дул весь день и всю ночь. К утру ветер принес саранчу.	13 And Moses lifted up his staff over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind upon the land all that day and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.
14 Она напала на Египет, опустившись на страну в огромном количестве. Такого нашествия саранчи не бывало прежде и не будет впредь.	14 And the locusts went up over all the land of Egypt and rested in all the domain of the Egyptians; it was a great swarm; before them there were no such swarms of locusts as they, neither after them shall be such.
15 Она покрыла всю землю так, что земля почернела. Она сожрала все, что осталось после града — все, что росло в полях, и плоды на деревьях. Ни на дереве, ни на каком другом растении во всем Египте не осталось зелени.	15 For they covered the face of the whole earth so that the land was darkened; and they did eat all the herbs of the land and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left; and there remained no leaf on the trees neither grass in the field, through al the land of Egypt.
16 Фараон спешно позвал Моисея и Аарона и сказал: — Я согрешил перед Господом, вашим Богом, и перед вами.	16 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron in haste; and he said to them, I have sinned against the LORD your God and against you.
17 Простите мой грех всего лишь еще один раз. Помолитесь Господу, вашему Богу, чтобы Он избавил меня от этого несчастья.	17 Now therefore, forgive me my fault this time also, and pray before the LORD your God that he may re move from me this death.
18 Моисей ушел от фараона и помолился Господу.	18 And Moses went out from the presence of Pharaoh and prayed be fore the LORD.
19 Господь переменил ветер на очень сильный морской ветер, который подхватил саранчу и унес в Красное море. В Египте совсем не осталось саранчи.	19 And the LORD turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts and cast them into the Red Sea; there remained not one locust in all the domain of Egypt.
20 Но Господь сделал сердце фараона упрямым, и он не отпустил израильтян.	20 But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart so that he would not let the children of Israel go.
21 Господь сказал Моисею: — Подними руку к небу — и на Египет ляжет тьма, осязаемая тьма.	21 Then the LORD said to Moses, Lift up your hand toward the heaven that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even thick darkness.
22 Моисей поднял руку к небу, и непроницаемая тьма покрыла Египет на три дня.	22 And Moses lifted up his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days;
23 Люди не могли ни видеть друг друга, ни передвигаться в течение трех дней. А у израильтян, там, где они жили, был свет.	23 They did not see one another, nor rose any from his place for three days; but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.
24 Тогда фараон позвал Моисея и сказал: — Идите, поклонитесь Господу. Оставьте здесь лишь ваши отары и стада, а женщины и дети пусть идут с вами.	24 And Pharaoh called to Moses and said to him, Go, serve before the LORD your God; only let your flocks and herds remain here; let your little ones also go with you.

27 Господь сделал сердце фараона упрямым, и он не захотел отпускать их.	27 But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart and he would not let them go.
28 Он сказал Моисею: — Прочь с глаз моих! Не смей являться пред лицо мое! В тот день, когда ты увидешь мое лицо, ты умрешь.	28 And Pharaoh said to Moses. Get away from here, take heed to yourself, do not try to see my face again,
29 — Верно, — ответил Моисей. — Больше я не увижу твоего лица.	29 And Moses said, You have spoken well, I will not try to see your face any more.
