Послание ефесянам

Глава 4

1 Я, находящийся в заключении ради Господа, умоляю вас: раз вы призваны Богом, то живите достойно вашего призвания.

2 Будьте скромны и кротки, относитесь друг ко другу с терпением и любовью.

3 Делайте все возможное для того, чтобы скрепить свое духовное единство узами мира.

4 Дух один и тело одно, так же, как и надежда, к которой вы были призваны, — одна.

5 Один Господь, одна вера, одно крещение,

6 один Бог — Отец всех. Он стоит над всем и действует через все и во всем.

7 Каждому из нас дана благодать по мере дара Христова.

8 Поэтому и сказано: «Он поднялся на высоту, пленил пленных и дал дары людям».

9 «Поднялся» означает не что иное, как то, что Он прежде спускался вниз, на землю.

10 Этот спустившийся и есть Тот Самый, Кто поднялся выше небес, чтобы наполнить Собой всю вселенную.

11 И Он дал одним быть апостолами, другим — пророками, третьим — проповедниками Радостной Вести, четвертым — быть пастырями и учителями,

12 чтобы приготовить святых к делу служения, для созидания тела Христа

13 до тех пор, пока мы все не достигнем единства в вере и в познании Сына Божьего, пока не достигнем духовной зрелости и пока не будем подобны Христу, в Котором полнота совершенства.

14 И тогда мы уже не будем малыми детьми, колеблемыми волнами и носимыми ветрами разных учений, которые делают нас жертвами хитрых обманщиков, вводящих людей в заблуждение.

15 Но говоря с любовью истину, мы будем возрастать, во всем отражая характер Христа, Который является Главой

16 и благодаря Которому все тело соединено и скреплено всевозможными связями и все части его выполняют каждая свою функцию. При этом все тело возрастает и созидается в любви.

17 Поэтому я заявляю и настаиваю ради Господа: перестаньте жить как язычники, чьи мысли пусты,

18 потому что их сознание помрачено. Они отчуждены от жизни, которую дает Бог, из-за их духовной слепоты, произошедшей по черствости их сердец.

19 Потеряв всякую чувствительность, они предаются разврату, с ненасытностью погрязая во всякой нечистоте.

20 Но вы не так узнали Христа.

21 Без сомнения, вы слышали о Нем и в Нем были научены истине, поскольку истина заключена в Иисусе.

22 Вас учили тому, чтобы вы оставили прежний образ жизни, свойственный вашей старой природе, разлагающейся из-за своих обманчивых низменных желаний.

23 Обновите ваш образ мыслей,

24 оденьтесь в новую природу, созданную по образу Бога, — в истинную праведность и святость.

25 Пусть каждый из вас оставит ложь и говорит своим ближним правду, потому что все мы члены одного тела.

26 «Гневаясь, не грешите», пусть ваш гнев пройдет прежде, чем зайдет солнце;

27 не давайте дьяволу места в вашей жизни.

28 Кто крал, пусть больше не крадет, а зарабатывает на жизнь своим трудом и делится с теми, кто в нужде.

29 Не произносите никаких дурных слов, говорите лишь полезное для назидания, чтобы это приносило благодать слушающим.

30 Не огорчайте Святого Духа Божьего, Которым вы были запечатлены для дня искупления.

31 Избавьтесь от всякой горечи в душе, гнева, ярости, крика, злословия и всякого рода злобы.

32 Будьте добры друг ко другу, проявляйте сострадание, прощайте друг друга, как и Бог во Христе простил вас.

Ephesians

Chapter 4

1 I THEREFORE, a prisoner of our LORD, beseech you to live as is worthy of the rank to which you are called,

2 With all humility and gentleness and with patience, forbearing one another in love,

3 Endeavoring to preserve the harmony of the Spirit in the bond of peace,

4 That you may become one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling;

5 There is one LORD, one faith, and one baptism;

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in all of us.

7 But to every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

8 Wherefore it is said, He ascended on high, and took possession of heaven and gave good gifts to men.

9 Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the inner parts of the earth?

10 So he that descended is the same also that ascended far above all heavens, that he might fulfil all things.

11 And he has assigned some, apostles, and some, prophets, and some, evangelists, and some, pastors, and some, teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13 Until we all become one in faith, and in the knowledge of the Son of God, and become a perfect man according to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

14 That we henceforth be not as children easily stirred and carried away by every wind of false doctrines of men who through their craftiness are artful in deceiving the people;

15 But that we be sincere in our love, so that in everything we may progress through Christ, who is the head.

16 It is through him that the whole body is closely and firmly united at all joints, according to the measure of the gift which is given to every member, for the guidance and control of the body, in order to complete the edifying of the body in love.

17 This I say therefore and testify in the LORD: that you henceforth live not as other Gentiles, who live in the vanity of their mind,

18 And whose understanding is dark, and who are alienated from the life of God, because they have no knowledge, and because of the blindness of their hearts;

19 And who have given up their hope, and have surrendered themselves to wantonness, and to the practice of all uncleanness in their covetousness.

20 But that is not what you have been taught about Christ;

21 If you have truly heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is found in Jesus:

22 That you lay aside all your former practices, that is to say, the old man which is degenerated with deceitful lusts;

23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

24 And that you put on the new man, who is created by God in righteousness and true holiness.

25 Wherefore you must put away from you lying, and speak the truth every man with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.

26 Be angry, but sin not: and let not the sun go down upon your anger;

27 And do not give the devil a chance.

28 From henceforth let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labor with his hands and do good deeds, that he may have something to give to him who is in need.

29 Let no bad word proceed from your mouth, but words that are good and useful for edification, that they will impart blessing to those who hear them.

30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed unto the day of salvation.

31 Let all bitterness and wrath, and anger, and clamouring and blasphemy be put away from you, together with all malice:

32 And be kind one to another and tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God has forgiven us through Christ.

4 Дух один и тело одно, так же, как и надежда, к которой вы были призваны, — одна.

4 That you may become one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling;

5 Один Господь, одна вера, одно крещение,

5 There is one LORD, one faith, and one baptism;

6 один Бог — Отец всех. Он стоит над всем и действует через все и во всем.

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in all of us.

7 Каждому из нас дана благодать по мере дара Христова.

7 But to every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

8 Поэтому и сказано: «Он поднялся на высоту, пленил пленных и дал дары людям».

8 Wherefore it is said, He ascended on high, and took possession of heaven and gave good gifts to men.

9 «Поднялся» означает не что иное, как то, что Он прежде спускался вниз, на землю.

9 Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the inner parts of the earth?

10 Этот спустившийся и есть Тот Самый, Кто поднялся выше небес, чтобы наполнить Собой всю вселенную.

12 чтобы приготовить святых к делу служения, для созидания тела Христа

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13 до тех пор, пока мы все не достигнем единства в вере и в познании Сына Божьего, пока не достигнем духовной зрелости и пока не будем подобны Христу, в Котором полнота совершенства.

13 Until we all become one in faith, and in the knowledge of the Son of God, and become a perfect man according to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

14 И тогда мы уже не будем малыми детьми, колеблемыми волнами и носимыми ветрами разных учений, которые делают нас жертвами хитрых обманщиков, вводящих людей в заблуждение.

16 и благодаря Которому все тело соединено и скреплено всевозможными связями и все части его выполняют каждая свою функцию. При этом все тело возрастает и созидается в любви.

17 Поэтому я заявляю и настаиваю ради Господа: перестаньте жить как язычники, чьи мысли пусты,

19 Потеряв всякую чувствительность, они предаются разврату, с ненасытностью погрязая во всякой нечистоте.

20 Но вы не так узнали Христа.

20 But that is not what you have been taught about Christ;

21 Без сомнения, вы слышали о Нем и в Нем были научены истине, поскольку истина заключена в Иисусе.

21 If you have truly heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is found in Jesus:

22 Вас учили тому, чтобы вы оставили прежний образ жизни, свойственный вашей старой природе, разлагающейся из-за своих обманчивых низменных желаний.

22 That you lay aside all your former practices, that is to say, the old man which is degenerated with deceitful lusts;

23 Обновите ваш образ мыслей,

23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

24 оденьтесь в новую природу, созданную по образу Бога, — в истинную праведность и святость.

24 And that you put on the new man, who is created by God in righteousness and true holiness.

25 Пусть каждый из вас оставит ложь и говорит своим ближним правду, потому что все мы члены одного тела.

25 Wherefore you must put away from you lying, and speak the truth every man with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.

26 «Гневаясь, не грешите», пусть ваш гнев пройдет прежде, чем зайдет солнце;

26 Be angry, but sin not: and let not the sun go down upon your anger;

27 не давайте дьяволу места в вашей жизни.

27 And do not give the devil a chance.

28 Кто крал, пусть больше не крадет, а зарабатывает на жизнь своим трудом и делится с теми, кто в нужде.

28 From henceforth let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labor with his hands and do good deeds, that he may have something to give to him who is in need.

29 Не произносите никаких дурных слов, говорите лишь полезное для назидания, чтобы это приносило благодать слушающим.

29 Let no bad word proceed from your mouth, but words that are good and useful for edification, that they will impart blessing to those who hear them.

30 Не огорчайте Святого Духа Божьего, Которым вы были запечатлены для дня искупления.

30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed unto the day of salvation.

31 Избавьтесь от всякой горечи в душе, гнева, ярости, крика, злословия и всякого рода злобы.

31 Let all bitterness and wrath, and anger, and clamouring and blasphemy be put away from you, together with all malice:

32 Будьте добры друг ко другу, проявляйте сострадание, прощайте друг друга, как и Бог во Христе простил вас.

32 And be kind one to another and tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God has forgiven us through Christ.
