Глава 11

1 Люби Господа, своего Бога, и всегда соблюдай Его требования, установления и повеления.

2 Я не обращаюсь к вашим детям, которые не знали и не видели наказания Господа, вашего Бога. Вспомните сегодня Его величие, Его могучую длань и простертую руку,

3 знамения и дела, которые Он сотворил в Египте, и с фараоном, царем Египта, и со всей его страной;

4 то, что Он сделал с египетским войском, с его конями и колесницами, как Он утопил их в водах Красного моря, когда они гнались за вами, и как Господь погубил их, и по сей день это так.

5 Ваши дети не видели то, что Он сделал для вас в пустыне, пока вы не пришли на это место,

6 и что Он совершил с Датаном и Авирамом, сыновьями рувимита Элиава, когда земля разверзлась прямо посреди народа Израиля и поглотила их с их домочадцами, шатрами и всеми живыми существами, которые им принадлежали.

7 Ваши собственные глаза видели все эти великие дела, которые совершил Господь.

8 Итак, соблюдайте все повеления, которые я даю вам сегодня, чтобы быть сильными, войти в землю, куда вы идете, и завладеть ею,

9 и чтобы долго жить на земле, которую Господь клялся отдать вашим отцам и их семени, на земле, где течет молоко и мед.

10 Земля, куда ты идешь, чтобы завладеть ею, не похожа на землю Египта, откуда вы пришли, где ты сажал семя и орошал поля, как огород, с помощью ног.

11 Но земля, куда вы вступаете, чтобы завладеть ею, — это земля гор и долин, которая пьет дождь с неба.

12 Это земля, о которой заботится Господь, твой Бог; взгляд Господа, твоего Бога, круглый год обращен на нее.

13 Если вы будете верно слушаться Моих повелений, которые Я даю вам сегодня, — любить Господа, вашего Бога, и служить Ему от всего сердца и от всей души, —

14 то Я буду в срок посылать дожди на вашу землю, осенние и весенние дожди, чтобы ты собирал зерно, молодое вино и масло.

15 Я дам траву на полях для твоего скота, и ты будешь есть и насыщаться.

16 Берегитесь, иначе вы соблазнитесь тем, чтобы уклониться и начать почитать других богов, и поклоняться им.

17 Тогда гнев Господа вспыхнет против вас, и Он запрет небеса, и не будет дождя, и земля не будет приносить урожай, и вы вскоре будете истреблены с благодатной земли, которую дает вам Господь.

18 Сохраните Мои слова в сердцах и умах; навяжите их как символы на руку и обвяжите ими лбы.

19 Учите им своих детей, говорите о них, когда сидите дома и когда идете по дороге, когда ложитесь и когда встаете.

20 Напишите их на дверных косяках и на воротах своего дома,

21 чтобы вы и ваши дети прожили на земле, которую Господь клялся дать вашим отцам, столько дней, сколько небеса находятся над землей.

22 Если вы будете тщательно соблюдать все повеления, которые я даю вам, чтобы вы им следовали, — любить Господа, вашего Бога, ходить всеми Его путями и быть верными Ему,

23 то Господь прогонит от вас все другие народы, и вы выселите тех, кто многочисленнее и сильнее вас.

24 Всякое место, на которое ступит ваша нога, станет вашим: ваша земля будет простираться от пустыни до Ливана, от реки Евфрат до Западного моря.

25 Никто не в силах будет противостоять вам. Господь, ваш Бог, как Он и обещал вам, наведет страх и ужас перед вами на всю землю, где бы вы ни шли.

26 Смотрите, сегодня я предлагаю вам благословение и проклятие:

27 благословение — если вы будете слушаться повелений Господа, вашего Бога, которые я даю вам сегодня,

28 а проклятие — если вы не будете слушаться повелений Господа, вашего Бога, свернете с пути, который я указываю вам сегодня, и пойдете за другими богами, которых раньше не знали.

29 Когда Господь, твой Бог, введет тебя в землю, куда ты идешь, чтобы завладеть ею, ты должен провозгласить там, на горе Гаризим благословения, а на горе Гевал проклятия.

30 Ты знаешь, что эти горы находятся за Иорданом, к западу от дороги, на закат солнца, рядом с дубами Море, в земле тех хананеев, что живут в иорданской долине в окрестностях Гилгала.

31 Вы переходите Иордан, чтобы войти и завладеть землей, которую дает вам Господь, ваш Бог. Когда вы завладеете ею и будете там жить,

32 то смотрите, соблюдайте все установления и законы, которые я даю вам сегодня.

Chapter 11

1 THEREFORE you shall love the LORD your God, and keep his precepts, his statutes, his judgments, and his commandments, always.

2 And know this day that I do not speak to your children who have not known and who have not seen the discipline of the LORD your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, and his outstretched arm,

3 And his signs, and his deeds, which he did in Egypt to Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and to all his land;

4 And what he did to the army of the Egyptians, to their horses and to their chariots and to their horsemen; how he made the water of the Red Sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and how the LORD has destroyed them to this day;

5 And what he did to you in the wilderness, until you came into this place;

6 And what he did to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben; how the earth opened its mouth, and swallowed them up, and their children and their tents and everything which they had, as they stood on their feet in the midst of all Israel;

7 But it is your eyes that have seen all the great acts of the LORD which he did.

8 Therefore you shall keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that you may be strong and go in and possess the land which you are going over to possess;

9 And that you may prolong your days in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give to them and to their descendants, a land that flows with milk and honey.

10 For the land into which you are entering to possess it is not like the land of Egypt, from which you came out, where you sowed your seed and watered it with your feet, like a vegetable garden;

11 But the land which you are going over to possess is a land of mountains and valleys, that drinks water of the rain from heaven;

12 A land which the LORD your God cares for always; the eyes of the LORD your God are upon it, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.

13 And if you shall hearken diligently to the commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,

14 He will give you the rain of your land in its due season, the early rain and the latter rain, and you shall gather in your grain and your wine and your oil.

15 And he will make grass to grow in your fields for your cattle, that you shall eat and be full.

16 Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be enticed, and you turn aside and serve other gods and worship them;

17 And then the LORD'S anger be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain and that the land may not produce its fruit, and that you perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD your God gives you.

18 Therefore you shall lay up these commandments in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hands, that they may be a token between your eyes.

19 And you shall teach them to your children, that they may talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

20 And you shall write them on the doorposts of your houses, and upon your gates;

21 That your days and the days of your children, may be multiplied in the land which the LORD your God swore to your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon earth.

22 For if you shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you this day, and do them, and love the LORD your God, and walk in all his ways, and cleave to him;

23 Then the LORD will destroy all these nations from before you, and you shall possess nations greater and mightier than yourselves.

24 Every place whereon the sole of your foot treads shall be yours; from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the great river Euphrates, to the uttermost sea shall your territory be.

25 There shall no man be able to stand before you; for the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that you shall tread, as he has said to you.

26 Behold, I set before you this day blessings and curses;

27 Blessings, if you obey the commandments of the LORD your God which I am commanding you this day:

28 And curses, if you will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, and if you turn aside from the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which you have not known.

29 And it shall come to pass, when the LORD your God has brought you into the land whither you are entering to possess it, you shall put the blessings upon mount Gerizim, and the curses upon mount Gebel.

30 Behold, they are on the other side of the Jordan, behind the way, toward the setting of the sun, in the land of the Canaanites, who dwell in the low desert over against Gilgal, towards the house of the oak of Mamre.

31 For you are to cross the Jordan to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God gives you, and you shall possess it and dwell therein.

32 And you shall observe to do all the statutes and judgments which I set before you this day.

2 And know this day that I do not speak to your children who have not known and who have not seen the discipline of the LORD your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, and his outstretched arm,

3 And his signs, and his deeds, which he did in Egypt to Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and to all his land;

4 And what he did to the army of the Egyptians, to their horses and to their chariots and to their horsemen; how he made the water of the Red Sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and how the LORD has destroyed them to this day;

5 Ваши дети не видели то, что Он сделал для вас в пустыне, пока вы не пришли на это место,

5 And what he did to you in the wilderness, until you came into this place;

6 и что Он совершил с Датаном и Авирамом, сыновьями рувимита Элиава, когда земля разверзлась прямо посреди народа Израиля и поглотила их с их домочадцами, шатрами и всеми живыми существами, которые им принадлежали.

6 And what he did to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben; how the earth opened its mouth, and swallowed them up, and their children and their tents and everything which they had, as they stood on their feet in the midst of all Israel;

7 Ваши собственные глаза видели все эти великие дела, которые совершил Господь.

7 But it is your eyes that have seen all the great acts of the LORD which he did.

8 Итак, соблюдайте все повеления, которые я даю вам сегодня, чтобы быть сильными, войти в землю, куда вы идете, и завладеть ею,

8 Therefore you shall keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that you may be strong and go in and possess the land which you are going over to possess;

9 и чтобы долго жить на земле, которую Господь клялся отдать вашим отцам и их семени, на земле, где течет молоко и мед.

9 And that you may prolong your days in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give to them and to their descendants, a land that flows with milk and honey.

10 Земля, куда ты идешь, чтобы завладеть ею, не похожа на землю Египта, откуда вы пришли, где ты сажал семя и орошал поля, как огород, с помощью ног.

10 For the land into which you are entering to possess it is not like the land of Egypt, from which you came out, where you sowed your seed and watered it with your feet, like a vegetable garden;

11 Но земля, куда вы вступаете, чтобы завладеть ею, — это земля гор и долин, которая пьет дождь с неба.

11 But the land which you are going over to possess is a land of mountains and valleys, that drinks water of the rain from heaven;

12 Это земля, о которой заботится Господь, твой Бог; взгляд Господа, твоего Бога, круглый год обращен на нее.

12 A land which the LORD your God cares for always; the eyes of the LORD your God are upon it, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.

13 Если вы будете верно слушаться Моих повелений, которые Я даю вам сегодня, — любить Господа, вашего Бога, и служить Ему от всего сердца и от всей души, —

13 And if you shall hearken diligently to the commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,

14 то Я буду в срок посылать дожди на вашу землю, осенние и весенние дожди, чтобы ты собирал зерно, молодое вино и масло.

14 He will give you the rain of your land in its due season, the early rain and the latter rain, and you shall gather in your grain and your wine and your oil.

15 Я дам траву на полях для твоего скота, и ты будешь есть и насыщаться.

15 And he will make grass to grow in your fields for your cattle, that you shall eat and be full.

16 Берегитесь, иначе вы соблазнитесь тем, чтобы уклониться и начать почитать других богов, и поклоняться им.

16 Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be enticed, and you turn aside and serve other gods and worship them;

17 Тогда гнев Господа вспыхнет против вас, и Он запрет небеса, и не будет дождя, и земля не будет приносить урожай, и вы вскоре будете истреблены с благодатной земли, которую дает вам Господь.

17 And then the LORD'S anger be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain and that the land may not produce its fruit, and that you perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD your God gives you.

18 Сохраните Мои слова в сердцах и умах; навяжите их как символы на руку и обвяжите ими лбы.

18 Therefore you shall lay up these commandments in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hands, that they may be a token between your eyes.

19 Учите им своих детей, говорите о них, когда сидите дома и когда идете по дороге, когда ложитесь и когда встаете.

19 And you shall teach them to your children, that they may talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

20 Напишите их на дверных косяках и на воротах своего дома,

20 And you shall write them on the doorposts of your houses, and upon your gates;

21 чтобы вы и ваши дети прожили на земле, которую Господь клялся дать вашим отцам, столько дней, сколько небеса находятся над землей.

21 That your days and the days of your children, may be multiplied in the land which the LORD your God swore to your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon earth.

22 Если вы будете тщательно соблюдать все повеления, которые я даю вам, чтобы вы им следовали, — любить Господа, вашего Бога, ходить всеми Его путями и быть верными Ему,

22 For if you shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you this day, and do them, and love the LORD your God, and walk in all his ways, and cleave to him;

23 то Господь прогонит от вас все другие народы, и вы выселите тех, кто многочисленнее и сильнее вас.

23 Then the LORD will destroy all these nations from before you, and you shall possess nations greater and mightier than yourselves.

24 Всякое место, на которое ступит ваша нога, станет вашим: ваша земля будет простираться от пустыни до Ливана, от реки Евфрат до Западного моря.

24 Every place whereon the sole of your foot treads shall be yours; from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the great river Euphrates, to the uttermost sea shall your territory be.

25 Никто не в силах будет противостоять вам. Господь, ваш Бог, как Он и обещал вам, наведет страх и ужас перед вами на всю землю, где бы вы ни шли.

25 There shall no man be able to stand before you; for the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that you shall tread, as he has said to you.

26 Смотрите, сегодня я предлагаю вам благословение и проклятие:

26 Behold, I set before you this day blessings and curses;

27 благословение — если вы будете слушаться повелений Господа, вашего Бога, которые я даю вам сегодня,

27 Blessings, if you obey the commandments of the LORD your God which I am commanding you this day:

28 а проклятие — если вы не будете слушаться повелений Господа, вашего Бога, свернете с пути, который я указываю вам сегодня, и пойдете за другими богами, которых раньше не знали.

28 And curses, if you will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, and if you turn aside from the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which you have not known.

29 Когда Господь, твой Бог, введет тебя в землю, куда ты идешь, чтобы завладеть ею, ты должен провозгласить там, на горе Гаризим благословения, а на горе Гевал проклятия.

29 And it shall come to pass, when the LORD your God has brought you into the land whither you are entering to possess it, you shall put the blessings upon mount Gerizim, and the curses upon mount Gebel.
