1 В начале правления иудейского царя Цедекии, сына Иосии, к Иеремии было такое слово от Господа:

2 Так мне сказал Господь: — Сделай ярмо из ремней и палок и надень его на шею.

3 И пошли весть царям Эдома, Моава, Аммона, Тира и Сидона через послов, которые прибыли в Иерусалим к Цедекии, царю Иудеи.

4 Вели им передать известие своим господам, накажи им: «Так говорит Господь Сил, Бог Израиля: „Скажите своим господам вот что:

5 Своей великой силой и простертой рукой Я создал землю, людей и животных на земле, и Я даю это кому пожелаю.

6 Ныне Я отдам все ваши земли Моему слуге Навуходоносору, царю Вавилона; Я покорю ему даже диких зверей.

7 Все народы будут служить ему, и его сыну, и его внуку, пока не пробьет час этой страны. Ему покорятся многочисленные народы и великие цари.

8 А если какой-нибудь народ или царство не станет служить Навуходоносору, царю Вавилона, и не пригнет свою шею под его ярмо, Я буду наказывать этот народ мечом, голодом и мором, — возвещает Господь, — пока не погублю их его рукой.

9 Поэтому не слушайте ваших лжепророков, ворожей, толкователей снов, вызывателей умерших и чародеев, которые говорят вам: «Вы не будете служить царю Вавилона».

10 Они пророчествуют вам ложь, которая удалит вас от ваших земель; Я изгоню вас, и вы погибнете.

11 А если какой-нибудь народ пригнет шею под ярмо царя Вавилона и будет ему служить, Я оставлю этот народ на его земле, чтобы он возделывал ее и жил на ней“», — возвещает Господь.

12 Цедекии, царю Иудеи, я говорил то же самое. Я сказал: — Пригни шею под ярмо царя Вавилона; служи ему и его народу, и будешь жить.

13 Зачем тебе и твоему народу гибнуть от меча, голода и мора, которыми Господь грозит всякому народу, что не станет служить царю Вавилона?

14 Не слушай слов лжепророков, говорящих тебе: «Вы не будете служить царю Вавилона», так как они пророчествуют тебе ложь.

15 «Я не посылал их, — возвещает Господь. — Они пророчествуют Моим именем ложь, чтобы Я изгнал вас, и вы погибли — и вы, и пророки, которые вам пророчествуют».

16 Затем я сказал священникам и всему народу: — Так говорит Господь: Не слушайте пророков, которые говорят: «Скоро утварь Господнего дома принесут из Вавилона обратно». Они пророчествуют вам ложь.

17 Не слушайте их. Служите царю Вавилона и будете жить. Зачем этому городу превращаться в развалины?

18 Если они пророки и у них слово Господне, то пусть лучше попросят Господа Сил, чтобы та утварь, которая еще осталась в доме Господа, во дворце царя Иудеи и в Иерусалиме, не отправилась в Вавилон.

19 Ведь так говорит Господь Сил о колоннах, о бронзовом море, и передвижных подставках и прочей утвари, оставшейся в городе,

20 которую Навуходоносор, царь Вавилона, не забрал с собой, когда он увел иудейского царя Иехонию, сына Иоакима, в плен из Иерусалима в Вавилон вместе со знатью Иудеи и Иерусалима —

21 да, так Господь Сил, Бог Израиля, говорит об утвари, оставшейся в доме Господнем, во дворце царя Иудеи и в Иерусалиме:

22 Ее заберут в Вавилон, и она останется там до того дня, когда Я приду за ней, — возвещает Господь. — Тогда Я заберу ее и верну на это место.

2 Thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 to me; Make6213 you bonds4147 and yokes,4133 and put5414 them on your neck,6677

3 And send7971 them to the king4428 of Edom,123 and to the king4428 of Moab,4124 and to the king4428 of the Ammonites,5984 and to the king4428 of Tyrus,6865 and to the king4428 of Zidon,6721 by the hand3027 of the messengers4397 which come935 to Jerusalem3389 to Zedekiah6667 king4428 of Judah;3063

4 And command6680 them to say559 to their masters,113 Thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 the God430 of Israel;3478 Thus3541 shall you say559 to your masters;113

5 I have made6213 the earth,776 the man120 and the beast929 that are on the ground,776 by my great1419 power3581 and by my outstretched5186 arm,2220 and have given5414 it to whom834 it seemed5869 meet3474 to me.

6 And now6258 have I given5414 all3605 these428 lands776 into413 the hand3027 of Nebuchadnezzar5019 the king4428 of Babylon,894 my servant;5650 and the beasts2416 of the field7704 have I given5414 him also1571 to serve5647 him.

7 And all3605 nations1471 shall serve5647 him, and his son,1121 and his son's1121 son,1121 until5704 the very time6256 of his land776 come:935 and then many7227 nations1471 and great1419 kings4428 shall serve5647 themselves of him.

8 And it shall come1961 to pass, that the nation1471 and kingdom4467 which834 will not serve5647 the same Nebuchadnezzar5019 the king4428 of Babylon,894 and that will not put5414 their neck6677 under the yoke5923 of the king4428 of Babylon,894 that nation1471 will I punish,6485 said5002 the LORD,3068 with the sword,2719 and with the famine,7458 and with the pestilence,1698 until5704 I have consumed8552 them by his hand.3027

9 Therefore listen8085 not you to your prophets,5030 nor to your diviners,7080 nor to your dreamers,2492 nor to your enchanters,6049 nor to your sorcerers,3786 which834 speak559 to you, saying,559 You shall not serve5647 the king4428 of Babylon:894

10 For they prophesy5012 a lie8267 to you, to remove7368 you far7368 from your land;127 and that I should drive5080 you out, and you should perish.6

11 But the nations1471 that bring935 their neck6677 under the yoke5923 of the king4428 of Babylon,894 and serve5647 him, those will I let remain5117 still in their own land,127 said5002 the LORD;3068 and they shall till5647 it, and dwell3427 therein.

12 I spoke1696 also to Zedekiah6667 king4428 of Judah3063 according to all3605 these428 words,1697 saying,559 Bring935 your necks6677 under the yoke5923 of the king4428 of Babylon,894 and serve5647 him and his people,5971 and live.2421

13 Why4100 will you die,4191 you and your people,5971 by the sword,2719 by the famine,7458 and by the pestilence,1698 as the LORD3068 has spoken1696 against413 the nation1471 that will not serve5647 the king4428 of Babylon?894

14 Therefore listen8085 not to the words1697 of the prophets5030 that speak559 to you, saying,559 You shall not serve5647 the king4428 of Babylon:894 for they prophesy5012 a lie8267 to you.

15 For I have not sent7971 them, said5002 the LORD,3068 yet they prophesy5012 a lie8267 in my name;8034 that I might drive5080 you out, and that you might perish,6 you, and the prophets5030 that prophesy5012 to you.

16 Also I spoke1696 to the priests3548 and to all3605 this2088 people,5971 saying,559 Thus3541 said559 the LORD;3068 Listen8085 not to the words1697 of your prophets5030 that prophesy5012 to you, saying,559 Behold,2009 the vessels3627 of the LORD's3068 house1004 shall now6258 shortly4120 be brought7725 again7725 from Babylon:894 for they prophesy5012 a lie8267 to you.

17 Listen8085 not to them; serve5647 the king4428 of Babylon,894 and live:2421 why4100 should this2063 city5892 be laid waste?2723

18 But if518 they be prophets,5030 and if518 the word1697 of the LORD3068 be with them, let them now4994 make intercession6293 to the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 that the vessels3627 which are left3498 in the house1004 of the LORD,3068 and in the house1004 of the king4428 of Judah,3063 and at Jerusalem,3389 go935 not to Babylon.894

19 For thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 of hosts6635 concerning5921 the pillars,5982 and concerning5921 the sea,3220 and concerning5921 the bases,4369 and concerning5921 the residue3499 of the vessels3627 that remain3498 in this2063 city.5892

20 Which834 Nebuchadnezzar5019 king4428 of Babylon894 took3947 not, when he carried1546 away captive1540 Jeconiah3204 the son1121 of Jehoiakim3079 king4428 of Judah3063 from Jerusalem3389 to Babylon,894 and all3605 the nobles2715 of Judah3063 and Jerusalem;3389

21 Yes,3588 thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 the God430 of Israel,3478 concerning5921 the vessels3627 that remain3498 in the house1004 of the LORD,3068 and in the house1004 of the king4428 of Judah3063 and of Jerusalem;3389

22 They shall be carried935 to Babylon,894 and there8033 shall they be until5704 the day3117 that I visit6485 them, said5002 the LORD;3068 then will I bring5927 them up, and restore7725 them to this2008 place.4725

2 Так мне сказал Господь: — Сделай ярмо из ремней и палок и надень его на шею.

3 И пошли весть царям Эдома, Моава, Аммона, Тира и Сидона через послов, которые прибыли в Иерусалим к Цедекии, царю Иудеи.

5 Своей великой силой и простертой рукой Я создал землю, людей и животных на земле, и Я даю это кому пожелаю.

5 I have made6213 the earth,776 the man120 and the beast929 that are on the ground,776 by my great1419 power3581 and by my outstretched5186 arm,2220 and have given5414 it to whom834 it seemed5869 meet3474 to me.

6 Ныне Я отдам все ваши земли Моему слуге Навуходоносору, царю Вавилона; Я покорю ему даже диких зверей.

6 And now6258 have I given5414 all3605 these428 lands776 into413 the hand3027 of Nebuchadnezzar5019 the king4428 of Babylon,894 my servant;5650 and the beasts2416 of the field7704 have I given5414 him also1571 to serve5647 him.

7 Все народы будут служить ему, и его сыну, и его внуку, пока не пробьет час этой страны. Ему покорятся многочисленные народы и великие цари.

7 And all3605 nations1471 shall serve5647 him, and his son,1121 and his son's1121 son,1121 until5704 the very time6256 of his land776 come:935 and then many7227 nations1471 and great1419 kings4428 shall serve5647 themselves of him.

8 А если какой-нибудь народ или царство не станет служить Навуходоносору, царю Вавилона, и не пригнет свою шею под его ярмо, Я буду наказывать этот народ мечом, голодом и мором, — возвещает Господь, — пока не погублю их его рукой.

8 And it shall come1961 to pass, that the nation1471 and kingdom4467 which834 will not serve5647 the same Nebuchadnezzar5019 the king4428 of Babylon,894 and that will not put5414 their neck6677 under the yoke5923 of the king4428 of Babylon,894 that nation1471 will I punish,6485 said5002 the LORD,3068 with the sword,2719 and with the famine,7458 and with the pestilence,1698 until5704 I have consumed8552 them by his hand.3027

9 Поэтому не слушайте ваших лжепророков, ворожей, толкователей снов, вызывателей умерших и чародеев, которые говорят вам: «Вы не будете служить царю Вавилона».

11 А если какой-нибудь народ пригнет шею под ярмо царя Вавилона и будет ему служить, Я оставлю этот народ на его земле, чтобы он возделывал ее и жил на ней“», — возвещает Господь.

11 But the nations1471 that bring935 their neck6677 under the yoke5923 of the king4428 of Babylon,894 and serve5647 him, those will I let remain5117 still in their own land,127 said5002 the LORD;3068 and they shall till5647 it, and dwell3427 therein.

12 Цедекии, царю Иудеи, я говорил то же самое. Я сказал: — Пригни шею под ярмо царя Вавилона; служи ему и его народу, и будешь жить.

12 I spoke1696 also to Zedekiah6667 king4428 of Judah3063 according to all3605 these428 words,1697 saying,559 Bring935 your necks6677 under the yoke5923 of the king4428 of Babylon,894 and serve5647 him and his people,5971 and live.2421

13 Зачем тебе и твоему народу гибнуть от меча, голода и мора, которыми Господь грозит всякому народу, что не станет служить царю Вавилона?

13 Why4100 will you die,4191 you and your people,5971 by the sword,2719 by the famine,7458 and by the pestilence,1698 as the LORD3068 has spoken1696 against413 the nation1471 that will not serve5647 the king4428 of Babylon?894

14 Не слушай слов лжепророков, говорящих тебе: «Вы не будете служить царю Вавилона», так как они пророчествуют тебе ложь.

14 Therefore listen8085 not to the words1697 of the prophets5030 that speak559 to you, saying,559 You shall not serve5647 the king4428 of Babylon:894 for they prophesy5012 a lie8267 to you.

15 «Я не посылал их, — возвещает Господь. — Они пророчествуют Моим именем ложь, чтобы Я изгнал вас, и вы погибли — и вы, и пророки, которые вам пророчествуют».

15 For I have not sent7971 them, said5002 the LORD,3068 yet they prophesy5012 a lie8267 in my name;8034 that I might drive5080 you out, and that you might perish,6 you, and the prophets5030 that prophesy5012 to you.

16 Затем я сказал священникам и всему народу: — Так говорит Господь: Не слушайте пророков, которые говорят: «Скоро утварь Господнего дома принесут из Вавилона обратно». Они пророчествуют вам ложь.

16 Also I spoke1696 to the priests3548 and to all3605 this2088 people,5971 saying,559 Thus3541 said559 the LORD;3068 Listen8085 not to the words1697 of your prophets5030 that prophesy5012 to you, saying,559 Behold,2009 the vessels3627 of the LORD's3068 house1004 shall now6258 shortly4120 be brought7725 again7725 from Babylon:894 for they prophesy5012 a lie8267 to you.

17 Не слушайте их. Служите царю Вавилона и будете жить. Зачем этому городу превращаться в развалины?

18 Если они пророки и у них слово Господне, то пусть лучше попросят Господа Сил, чтобы та утварь, которая еще осталась в доме Господа, во дворце царя Иудеи и в Иерусалиме, не отправилась в Вавилон.
