Пророк Иеремия

Глава 6

1 – Спасайтесь бегством, потомки Вениамина! Бегите из Иерусалима!Трубите в рога в Текоа! Разводите сигнальный огонь в Бет-Кереме!Беда надвигается с севера, лютая гибель.

2 Погублю Я дочь Сиона, прекрасную и утончённую.

3 Пастухи со своими стадами придут к ней и поставят вокруг свои шатры; каждый будет пасти на своей земле.

4 – Готовьтесь к битве с ней! Вставайте, выступаем в полдень!Только день уже клонится к закату, поползли вечерние тени.

5 Вставайте, выступаем ночью! Разрушим её дворцы!

6 Так говорит Вечный, Повелитель Сил:
– Рубите деревья, возводите осадную насыпь против Иерусалима.Этот город будет наказан; переполнен он угнетением.

7 Как в источнике всегда свежая вода, так и в этом городе всегда новое злодейство.Слышны в нём насилие и смута; его недуги и раны всегда предо Мною.

8 Опомнись, Иерусалим, чтобы Я не отвернулся от тебяи не разорил твоей земли, оставив её без жителей.

9 Так говорит Вечный, Повелитель Сил:
– Полностью расхватают то, что осталось от Исраила, как до последней ягоды обирают виноградник,снова пройдись рукой по ветвям, как собиратель винограда.

10 Кому говорю, кого остерегаю? Кто будет меня слушать?Уши их заткнуты, . они не способны слышать.Слово Вечного для них оскорбительно; им нет в нём радости.

11 Поэтому я полон гнева Вечного, не могу его удержать.– Излей его на детей на улице и на юношей, собравшихся вместе;будет излит этот гнев и на мужа, и на жену, и на стариков, чьи дни на исходе.

12 Их дома будут переданы другим, а вместе с ними их поля и жёны,когда Я подниму руку на тех, кто живёт в стране, – возвещает Вечный. –

13 Все они, от малого до великого, жаждут наживы;от пророка и до священнослужителя – все поступают лживо.

14 Лечат серьёзную рану народа Моего так, как будто это простая царапина.«Мир, мир», – говорят, а мира нет.

15 Не стыдно ли им за их мерзости? Нет, им ни капли не стыдно, и они не умеют краснеть.За это падут они среди павших, будут повержены, когда Я накажу их, – говорит Вечный.

16 Так говорит Вечный:
– Встаньте на распутье и осмотритесь; расспросите о древних тропах,о том, где пролегает добрый путь, и идите по нему,и найдёте покой своим душам. Но вы сказали: «Не пойдём по нему».

17 Я поставил над вами стражей, . сказав: «Слушайте звук рога». Но вы сказали: «Не будем слушать».

18 Так слушайте же, народы, знайте, свидетели, что будет с ними.

19 Слушай, земля:Я насылаю на этот народ беду, плод их собственных замыслов,за то, что они не слушали Моих слов и отвергли Мой Закон.

20 На что Мне ладан из Шевы или благовонный тростник из далёкой земли?Всесожжения ваши Мне неугодны, ваши жертвы Мне неприятны.

21 Поэтому так говорит Вечный:
– Я поставлю перед этим народом преграды, о которые он споткнётся;и отцы, и с ними их сыновья, и соседи с друзьями погибнут.

22 Так говорит Вечный:
– Вот, движется войско из северной страны;великий народ поднимается с краёв земли.

23 Их оружие – лук и копьё; они свирепы и не знают пощады.Шум от них – как рёв моря, когда они скачут на конях.В боевом строю идут воины против тебя, дочь Сиона.

24 Мы услышали весть о них, и руки у нас опустились.Пронзила нас боль, охватили муки, как женщину в родах.

25 Не выходите в поля, не расхаживайте по дорогам,так как кругом враг с мечом. Ужас со всех сторон!

26 О народ мой, надень рубище, обваляйся в золе;подними плач, как по единственному ребёнку, потому что внезапно придёт к нам губитель.

27 – Я сделал тебя оценщиком металлов, а Мой народ – рудою, чтобы ты смотрел и оценивал его.

28 Эти люди упрямы и непокорны, они – клеветники;они упорны, как бронза и железо, все они – развратители.

29 Кузнечный мех обгорел, исчез свинец в огне,плавильщик напрасно плавил: нечестивые не отделились.

30 Их назовут отверженным серебром, потому что Вечный отверг их.

Chapter 6

1 O CHILDREN of Benjamin, flee out of the midst of Jerusalem! Blow the trumpet and set up a standard in Beth-keram; for I am bringing a calamity out of the north, and great destruction.

2 I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman.

3 The shepherds with their flocks shall come to her; they shall pitch their tents against her round about; they shall feed every one in his place.

4 Prepare war against her; and say, Arise, let us go up at noon. Woe to us! for the day is spent, and the shadows of the evening are lengthened.

5 Arise, and let us go up against her by night, and let us destroy her palaces.

6 For thus says the LORD of hosts, Hew down her trees and cast a mound against Jerusalem; this is the city to be visited with destruction; all of her calumnies are in the midst of her.

7 As a cistern that gathers its water, so has she gathered her wickedness; violence and plunder are heard in her; before me continually are grief and wounds.

8 Be chastised, O Jerusalem, lest my soul abhor you; lest I make you desolate like an uninhabited land.

9 Thus says the LORD of hosts, They shall thoroughly glean the remnant of Israel as a vine; turn back your hand as a grape gatherer when he gleans the grapes.

10 To whom shall I speak and give warning, that they may hear? Behold, their ears are dull and they cannot hear; behold, the word of the LORD is to them a reproach; they have no delight in it.

11 Therefore you are full of the fury of the LORD, and you are weary; I will measure and then I will pour it out upon the children in the streets and upon the assembly of young men together; for even the husbands and wives shall be taken, the old men with the infants.

12 Their houses shall be given to others, with their fields and wives together; for I will stretch out my hand against the inhabitants of the land, says the LORD.

13 For from the least of them even to the greatest of them every one commits treachery; and from the false prophets even to the priests every one of them deals falsely.

14 And yet they try to heal the wound of the daughter of my people mockingly, saying, Peace, peace, when there is no peace.

15 Now they are ashamed because they had committed abomination, but the impudent are not ashamed at all, neither do they know what chastisement is; therefore they shall fall among them that fall; at the time that I visit them with punishment they shall be overthrown, says the LORD.

16 Thus says the LORD, Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths and see where is the good way, and walk in it and find rest for your souls. But you said, We will not walk therein.

17 Also I set watchmen over you, so that you might hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But you said, We will not hearken.

18 Therefore hear, O nations, and know, O congregation, the deceit that is among them.

19 Hear, O earth! Behold, I will bring evil upon this people according to the fruits of their imaginations, because they have not hearkened to my words, and my law they have rejected.

20 To what purpose do you bring to me incense from Sheba and the cane of sweet incense from a far country? Your burnt offerings are not acceptable to me, nor do your sacrifices please me.

21 Therefore thus says the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; and the neighbor and his friend shall perish.

22 Thus said the LORD, Behold, a people is coming from the north country, and a great nation shall be raised from the ends of the earth.

23 They shall be armed with bows and spears; they are cruel and have no mercy; their voices roar like the sea; and they ride upon horses set in array as men for war against you, O daughter of Zion.

24 We have heard the report of them; our hands wax feeble; anguish has taken hold of us, and pain as of a woman in travail.

25 Go not forth into the field, nor walk by the way; for the sword of the enemies is on every side.

26 O daughter of my people, gird yourself with sackcloth and wallow in ashes; make for yourself mourning, as for an only son, most bitter lamentation; for the plunderers shall suddenly come upon you.

27 I have set you as a seer among my great people, that you may know and understand their ways.

28 Their rulers are all rebellious, walking treacherously; like brass and iron, they are corruptible.

29 The bellows are burned, the lead is consumed by their fire; the refiner purges in vain; for their evil does not come out.

30 Rejected silver, they are called, because the LORD has rejected them.

3 Пастухи со своими стадами придут к ней и поставят вокруг свои шатры; каждый будет пасти на своей земле.	3 The shepherds with their flocks shall come to her; they shall pitch their tents against her round about; they shall feed every one in his place.
4 – Готовьтесь к битве с ней! Вставайте, выступаем в полдень!Только день уже клонится к закату, поползли вечерние тени.	4 Prepare war against her; and say, Arise, let us go up at noon. Woe to us! for the day is spent, and the shadows of the evening are lengthened.
5 Вставайте, выступаем ночью! Разрушим её дворцы!	5 Arise, and let us go up against her by night, and let us destroy her palaces.
6 Так говорит Вечный, Повелитель Сил: – Рубите деревья, возводите осадную насыпь против Иерусалима.Этот город будет наказан; переполнен он угнетением.	6 For thus says the LORD of hosts, Hew down her trees and cast a mound against Jerusalem; this is the city to be visited with destruction; all of her calumnies are in the midst of her.
7 Как в источнике всегда свежая вода, так и в этом городе всегда новое злодейство.Слышны в нём насилие и смута; его недуги и раны всегда предо Мною.	7 As a cistern that gathers its water, so has she gathered her wickedness; violence and plunder are heard in her; before me continually are grief and wounds.
8 Опомнись, Иерусалим, чтобы Я не отвернулся от тебяи не разорил твоей земли, оставив её без жителей.	8 Be chastised, O Jerusalem, lest my soul abhor you; lest I make you desolate like an uninhabited land.
9 Так говорит Вечный, Повелитель Сил: – Полностью расхватают то, что осталось от Исраила, как до последней ягоды обирают виноградник,снова пройдись рукой по ветвям, как собиратель винограда.	9 Thus says the LORD of hosts, They shall thoroughly glean the remnant of Israel as a vine; turn back your hand as a grape gatherer when he gleans the grapes.
10 Кому говорю, кого остерегаю? Кто будет меня слушать?Уши их заткнуты, . они не способны слышать.Слово Вечного для них оскорбительно; им нет в нём радости.	10 To whom shall I speak and give warning, that they may hear? Behold, their ears are dull and they cannot hear; behold, the word of the LORD is to them a reproach; they have no delight in it.
11 Поэтому я полон гнева Вечного, не могу его удержать.– Излей его на детей на улице и на юношей, собравшихся вместе;будет излит этот гнев и на мужа, и на жену, и на стариков, чьи дни на исходе.	11 Therefore you are full of the fury of the LORD, and you are weary; I will measure and then I will pour it out upon the children in the streets and upon the assembly of young men together; for even the husbands and wives shall be taken, the old men with the infants.
12 Их дома будут переданы другим, а вместе с ними их поля и жёны,когда Я подниму руку на тех, кто живёт в стране, – возвещает Вечный. –	12 Their houses shall be given to others, with their fields and wives together; for I will stretch out my hand against the inhabitants of the land, says the LORD.
13 Все они, от малого до великого, жаждут наживы;от пророка и до священнослужителя – все поступают лживо.	13 For from the least of them even to the greatest of them every one commits treachery; and from the false prophets even to the priests every one of them deals falsely.
14 Лечат серьёзную рану народа Моего так, как будто это простая царапина.«Мир, мир», – говорят, а мира нет.	14 And yet they try to heal the wound of the daughter of my people mockingly, saying, Peace, peace, when there is no peace.
15 Не стыдно ли им за их мерзости? Нет, им ни капли не стыдно, и они не умеют краснеть.За это падут они среди павших, будут повержены, когда Я накажу их, – говорит Вечный.	15 Now they are ashamed because they had committed abomination, but the impudent are not ashamed at all, neither do they know what chastisement is; therefore they shall fall among them that fall; at the time that I visit them with punishment they shall be overthrown, says the LORD.
16 Так говорит Вечный: – Встаньте на распутье и осмотритесь; расспросите о древних тропах,о том, где пролегает добрый путь, и идите по нему,и найдёте покой своим душам. Но вы сказали: «Не пойдём по нему».	16 Thus says the LORD, Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths and see where is the good way, and walk in it and find rest for your souls. But you said, We will not walk therein.
17 Я поставил над вами стражей, . сказав: «Слушайте звук рога». Но вы сказали: «Не будем слушать».	17 Also I set watchmen over you, so that you might hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But you said, We will not hearken.
18 Так слушайте же, народы, знайте, свидетели, что будет с ними.	18 Therefore hear, O nations, and know, O congregation, the deceit that is among them.
19 Слушай, земля:Я насылаю на этот народ беду, плод их собственных замыслов,за то, что они не слушали Моих слов и отвергли Мой Закон.	19 Hear, O earth! Behold, I will bring evil upon this people according to the fruits of their imaginations, because they have not hearkened to my words, and my law they have rejected.
20 На что Мне ладан из Шевы или благовонный тростник из далёкой земли?Всесожжения ваши Мне неугодны, ваши жертвы Мне неприятны.	20 To what purpose do you bring to me incense from Sheba and the cane of sweet incense from a far country? Your burnt offerings are not acceptable to me, nor do your sacrifices please me.
21 Поэтому так говорит Вечный: – Я поставлю перед этим народом преграды, о которые он споткнётся;и отцы, и с ними их сыновья, и соседи с друзьями погибнут.	21 Therefore thus says the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; and the neighbor and his friend shall perish.
