Глава 3

1 Если муж разведётся с женой, и она от него уйдёт и станет женой другому,то разве первый муж примет её назад? Разве не осквернится этим земля?Ты жила как блудница со многими, а теперь хочешь вернуться ко Мне? – возвещает Вечный. –

2 Подними взгляд на голые вершины и посмотри: есть ли место, где бы ты не пускалась в блуд?Ты сидела у обочины и высматривала любовников, как араб в пустыне высматривает, кого бы ограбить.Ты осквернила землю своим блудом и злодействами.

3 Поэтому не было дождей, не пролился весенний ливень.А у тебя был вид блудницы, ты забыла про стыд.

4 Разве ты до этого не взывала ко Мне: «Отец мой, Ты друг моей юности,

5 всегда ли Ты будешь гневаться? Вечно ли будет длиться Твоя ярость»?Вот как ты говоришь, но делаешь зло, как только можешь.

6 Во время правления царя Иосии Вечный сказал мне: – Видел ли ты, что сделала эта изменница – Исраил? Она распутствовала на каждой высокой горе и под каждым тенистым деревом.

7 Я думал, что она вернётся ко Мне после того, как сделала всё это, но она не вернулась, а её вероломная сестра Иудея видела это.

8 Я дал изменнице Исраил разводное письмо и отослал её за то, что она распутствовала. Но Я видел, что её вероломная сестра Иудея не испугалась, а сама стала блудить.

9 Блуд Исраила для неё ничего не значил, и она осквернила землю, предаваясь распутству с каменными и деревянными идолами.

10 Несмотря на всё это, Иудея, вероломная сестра Исраила, вернулась ко Мне, но не от чистого сердца, а притворяясь, – возвещает Вечный.

11 Вечный сказал мне: – Изменница Исраил праведнее, чем вероломная Иудея.

12 Иди и возвести на севере такие слова:
Вернись, изменница Исраил, – возвещает Вечный. – Я больше не буду гневаться на тебя,потому что Я милостив, – возвещает Вечный. – Не вечно Я буду гневаться.

13 Признай лишь свою вину: ты восстала против Вечного, твоего Бога,расточала свои ласки чужим богам под каждым тенистым деревом, а Меня ты не слушалась, – возвещает Вечный.

14 – Вернись, неверный народ, – возвещает Вечный, – потому что Я твой супруг. Я возьму вас – по одному из города, по двое из клана – и приведу вас на Сион.

15 Я дам вам пастухов, которые Мне по душе, и они будут водить вас со знанием и пониманием.

16 В те дни, когда вы сильно умножитесь числом в этой стране, – возвещает Вечный, – уже не будут больше говорить о сундуке соглашения Вечного. Не будут о нём больше думать, не будут его вспоминать; не будут больше тосковать о нём и другого сундука не сделают.

17 В то время назовут Иерусалим Престолом Вечного, и все народы соберутся в Иерусалиме, чтобы почтить имя Вечного. Они больше не будут поступать по упрямству своих злых сердец.

18 В те дни народ Иудеи соберётся с народом Исраила, и вместе они уйдут из северных земель в ту землю, которую Я дал их предкам.

19 – Я думал: с какой радостью Я принял бы вас, как Своих детей,и дал бы вам желанную землю, прекраснейшее наследие всех народов!Я думал: вы назовёте Меня Отцом и не отступите от Меня.

20 Но как жена изменяет мужу, так и вы изменили Мне, жители Исраила, – возвещает Вечный.

21 Слышен на голых вершинах крик, плач и мольбы жителей Исраила;они извратили свои пути и забыли Вечного, своего Бога.

22 – Вернись, неверный народ, Я исцелю тебя от отступничества.– Да, мы придём к Тебе; Ты же Вечный, наш Бог.

23 Поистине, поклонение идолам на холмах – обман, как и сборища на горах.Поистине, лишь в Вечном, нашем Боге, спасение для Исраила.

24 С давних времён наше поклонение мерзкому богу Баалу лишало нас трудов наших отцов,мелкого и крупного скота, и даже наших сыновей и дочерей.

25 В своих мерзостях мы погрязли, покрыты позором.Мы грешили перед Вечным, нашим Богом, – и мы, и наши отцы;с давних времён и до этого дня мы не слушались Вечного, нашего Бога.

Jeremiah

Chapter 3

1 IF a man put away his wife, and she go from him and become another man's wife, and he return to her again, behold, the land shall be defiled. But you have committed adultery with many rulers; return again to me, says the LORD.

2 Lift up your eyes to the highways, and see if there is a place where you have not defiled yourself. In the roads you have sat waiting for them, like an ostrich in the wilderness; and you have polluted the land with your whoredom.

3 And because of your wickedness the showers have been withheld, and there has been no latter rain; and you have become shameless like a whore, you have refused to be reproved.

4 Behold, now you say to me, My father, and thou art foster mother of my childhood.

5 Will God reserve his anger for ever? Or will he keep it to the end? Behold, you have spoken, and have done evil things beyond measure.

6 The LORD said to me in the days of King Josiah, Have you seen the thing which she who dwells in Israel has done? She has gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there has played the harlot.

7 And I said after she had done all these things, Return to me, but she did not return. And her perverseness was seen by her sister Judah.

8 And she saw all Israel's evil-doings. And because the inhabitants of Israel committed adultery, I had put her away and given a bill of divorce; yet her perverse sister Judah did not fear, but went and played the harlot also.

9 And her whoredom was so excessive that she defiled the land and committed adultery with idols of stone and wood,

10 And yet, for all this her treacherous sister Judah has not returned to me with her whole heart, but only with falsehood, says the LORD.

11 And the LORD said to me, The inhabitant of Israel has justified herself more than her perverse sister Judah.

12 Go proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Repent, O you inhabitant of Israel, says the LORD; and I will not be severe against you; for I am good, says the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever.

13 Only acknowledge your iniquity, for you have sinned against the LORD your God, and have scattered your evil practices to the strangers under every green tree, and you have not obeyed my voice, says the LORD.

14 Repent, O backsliding children, says the LORD; for I was pleased with you; and took one person of you from every town and two from every family, and I brought you to Zion.

15 And I will give you rulers according to my own heart, who will govern you with knowledge and understanding.

16 And it shall come to pass when you have multiplied and increased in the land in those days, says the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD; neither shall it come to mind, nor shall they remember it, nor shall they visit it, nor shall that ritual be performed any more.

17 At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall look up to the name of the LORD; neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.

18 In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given as an inheritance to their fathers.

19 And I said, I will consider you as children, and give you a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations; and I said, You shall call me, My father, and shall not turn away from me.

20 Surely as a wife lies about her lover, so has the house of Israel lied against me, says the LORD.

21 A voice was heard on the highways, the weeping and supplications of the children of Israel; for they have perverted their ways, and they have forsaken the LORD their God.

22 Repent, O you backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings; and say, Behold, we are yours; for thou art the LORD our God.

23 Truly, in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills and from fortified mountains; truly, in the LORD our God is the salvation of Israel.

24 For shame has devoured the labor of our fathers from their childhood, their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters.

25 Let us lie down in our shame, and let our confusion cover us; for we have sinned against the LORD our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even to this day, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD our God.

1 Если муж разведётся с женой, и она от него уйдёт и станет женой другому,то разве первый муж примет её назад? Разве не осквернится этим земля?Ты жила как блудница со многими, а теперь хочешь вернуться ко Мне? – возвещает Вечный. –

1 IF a man put away his wife, and she go from him and become another man's wife, and he return to her again, behold, the land shall be defiled. But you have committed adultery with many rulers; return again to me, says the LORD.

2 Подними взгляд на голые вершины и посмотри: есть ли место, где бы ты не пускалась в блуд?Ты сидела у обочины и высматривала любовников, как араб в пустыне высматривает, кого бы ограбить.Ты осквернила землю своим блудом и злодействами.

2 Lift up your eyes to the highways, and see if there is a place where you have not defiled yourself. In the roads you have sat waiting for them, like an ostrich in the wilderness; and you have polluted the land with your whoredom.

3 Поэтому не было дождей, не пролился весенний ливень.А у тебя был вид блудницы, ты забыла про стыд.

4 Behold, now you say to me, My father, and thou art foster mother of my childhood.

5 всегда ли Ты будешь гневаться? Вечно ли будет длиться Твоя ярость»?Вот как ты говоришь, но делаешь зло, как только можешь.

5 Will God reserve his anger for ever? Or will he keep it to the end? Behold, you have spoken, and have done evil things beyond measure.

6 Во время правления царя Иосии Вечный сказал мне: – Видел ли ты, что сделала эта изменница – Исраил? Она распутствовала на каждой высокой горе и под каждым тенистым деревом.

6 The LORD said to me in the days of King Josiah, Have you seen the thing which she who dwells in Israel has done? She has gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there has played the harlot.

7 Я думал, что она вернётся ко Мне после того, как сделала всё это, но она не вернулась, а её вероломная сестра Иудея видела это.

7 And I said after she had done all these things, Return to me, but she did not return. And her perverseness was seen by her sister Judah.

8 Я дал изменнице Исраил разводное письмо и отослал её за то, что она распутствовала. Но Я видел, что её вероломная сестра Иудея не испугалась, а сама стала блудить.

8 And she saw all Israel's evil-doings. And because the inhabitants of Israel committed adultery, I had put her away and given a bill of divorce; yet her perverse sister Judah did not fear, but went and played the harlot also.

9 Блуд Исраила для неё ничего не значил, и она осквернила землю, предаваясь распутству с каменными и деревянными идолами.

9 And her whoredom was so excessive that she defiled the land and committed adultery with idols of stone and wood,

10 Несмотря на всё это, Иудея, вероломная сестра Исраила, вернулась ко Мне, но не от чистого сердца, а притворяясь, – возвещает Вечный.

10 And yet, for all this her treacherous sister Judah has not returned to me with her whole heart, but only with falsehood, says the LORD.

11 Вечный сказал мне: – Изменница Исраил праведнее, чем вероломная Иудея.

11 And the LORD said to me, The inhabitant of Israel has justified herself more than her perverse sister Judah.

12 Иди и возвести на севере такие слова:
Вернись, изменница Исраил, – возвещает Вечный. – Я больше не буду гневаться на тебя,потому что Я милостив, – возвещает Вечный. – Не вечно Я буду гневаться.

12 Go proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Repent, O you inhabitant of Israel, says the LORD; and I will not be severe against you; for I am good, says the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever.

13 Признай лишь свою вину: ты восстала против Вечного, твоего Бога,расточала свои ласки чужим богам под каждым тенистым деревом, а Меня ты не слушалась, – возвещает Вечный.

13 Only acknowledge your iniquity, for you have sinned against the LORD your God, and have scattered your evil practices to the strangers under every green tree, and you have not obeyed my voice, says the LORD.

14 – Вернись, неверный народ, – возвещает Вечный, – потому что Я твой супруг. Я возьму вас – по одному из города, по двое из клана – и приведу вас на Сион.

14 Repent, O backsliding children, says the LORD; for I was pleased with you; and took one person of you from every town and two from every family, and I brought you to Zion.

15 Я дам вам пастухов, которые Мне по душе, и они будут водить вас со знанием и пониманием.

15 And I will give you rulers according to my own heart, who will govern you with knowledge and understanding.

16 В те дни, когда вы сильно умножитесь числом в этой стране, – возвещает Вечный, – уже не будут больше говорить о сундуке соглашения Вечного. Не будут о нём больше думать, не будут его вспоминать; не будут больше тосковать о нём и другого сундука не сделают.

16 And it shall come to pass when you have multiplied and increased in the land in those days, says the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD; neither shall it come to mind, nor shall they remember it, nor shall they visit it, nor shall that ritual be performed any more.

17 В то время назовут Иерусалим Престолом Вечного, и все народы соберутся в Иерусалиме, чтобы почтить имя Вечного. Они больше не будут поступать по упрямству своих злых сердец.

17 At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall look up to the name of the LORD; neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.

18 В те дни народ Иудеи соберётся с народом Исраила, и вместе они уйдут из северных земель в ту землю, которую Я дал их предкам.

18 In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given as an inheritance to their fathers.

19 – Я думал: с какой радостью Я принял бы вас, как Своих детей,и дал бы вам желанную землю, прекраснейшее наследие всех народов!Я думал: вы назовёте Меня Отцом и не отступите от Меня.

19 And I said, I will consider you as children, and give you a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations; and I said, You shall call me, My father, and shall not turn away from me.

20 Но как жена изменяет мужу, так и вы изменили Мне, жители Исраила, – возвещает Вечный.

20 Surely as a wife lies about her lover, so has the house of Israel lied against me, says the LORD.

21 Слышен на голых вершинах крик, плач и мольбы жителей Исраила;они извратили свои пути и забыли Вечного, своего Бога.

21 A voice was heard on the highways, the weeping and supplications of the children of Israel; for they have perverted their ways, and they have forsaken the LORD their God.

22 – Вернись, неверный народ, Я исцелю тебя от отступничества.– Да, мы придём к Тебе; Ты же Вечный, наш Бог.

22 Repent, O you backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings; and say, Behold, we are yours; for thou art the LORD our God.

23 Поистине, поклонение идолам на холмах – обман, как и сборища на горах.Поистине, лишь в Вечном, нашем Боге, спасение для Исраила.

23 Truly, in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills and from fortified mountains; truly, in the LORD our God is the salvation of Israel.

24 С давних времён наше поклонение мерзкому богу Баалу лишало нас трудов наших отцов,мелкого и крупного скота, и даже наших сыновей и дочерей.

25 В своих мерзостях мы погрязли, покрыты позором.Мы грешили перед Вечным, нашим Богом, – и мы, и наши отцы;с давних времён и до этого дня мы не слушались Вечного, нашего Бога.

25 Let us lie down in our shame, and let our confusion cover us; for we have sinned against the LORD our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even to this day, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD our God.
