Глава 35

1 Вот слово, которое было к Иеремии от Вечного во время правления иудейского царя Иоакима, сына Иосии: .

2 – Пойди к членам рода рехавитов, пригласи их прийти в одну из боковых комнат дома Вечного и предложи выпить вина.

3 Я пошёл к Иазании, сыну Иеремии, внуку Хавацинии, к его братьям и сыновьям – ко всему роду рехавитов.

4 Я привёл их в дом Вечного, в комнату сыновей Ханана, сына пророка Игдалии. Она была рядом с комнатой вождей, которая находилась над комнатой привратника Маасеи, сына Шаллума.

5 Я поставил перед членами рода рехавитов чаши, полные вина, и несколько кубков и сказал им: – Выпейте вина.

6 Но они ответили: – Мы не пьём вина, потому что наш предок Ионадав, сын Рехава, повелел нам: «Ни вы, ни ваши потомки не должны никогда пить вина.

7 Ещё вы не должны строить домов, сеять и возделывать виноградники; пусть ничего этого у вас не будет, потому что вы должны всегда жить в шатрах. Тогда вы долго проживёте на той земле, где вы кочуете».

8 Мы исполняем всё, что повелел нам Ионадав, сын Рехава. Ни мы, ни наши жёны, ни наши сыновья и дочери никогда не пьём вина,

9 не строим домов, чтобы жить в них, и у нас нет ни виноградников, ни полей, ни посевов.

10 Мы живём в шатрах и исполняем всё, что повелел нам Ионадав, сын Рехава.

11 Но когда Навуходоносор, царь Вавилона, пошёл войной на эту страну, мы сказали: «Соберёмся и уйдём в Иерусалим, чтобы спастись от войск вавилонян и сирийцев». Потому мы и поселились в Иерусалиме.

12 И сказал Вечный Иеремии:

13 – Так говорит Вечный, Повелитель Сил, Бог Исраила: Пойди и скажи людям Иудеи и жителям Иерусалима: «Неужели вы не научитесь слушаться Моих слов? – возвещает Вечный. –

14 Ионадав, сын Рехава, повелел своим сыновьям не пить вина, и его повеление было соблюдено. Они и сегодня не пьют вина, потому что послушны повелениям своего предка. А Я снова и снова говорил вам, и вы не слушались Меня.

15 Снова и снова Я посылал к вам всех Моих рабов пророков. Они говорили: „Обратитесь каждый от своего злого пути и оставьте свои злые деяния; не следуйте за чужими богами, чтобы служить им. Тогда вы будете жить на земле, которую Я дал вам и вашим предкам“. Но вы не обращали внимания и не слушали Меня.

16 Потомки Ионадава, сына Рехава, исполняют повеление, которое дал им их отец, а этот народ не слушается Меня».

17 Поэтому так говорит Вечный, Бог Сил, Бог Исраила: – Я нашлю на Иудею и на каждого, кто живёт в Иерусалиме, все невзгоды, которые Я им предрёк. Я говорил с ними, но они не слушали; Я звал их, но они не отвечали.

18 А роду рехавитов Иеремия сказал: – Так говорит Вечный, Повелитель Сил, Бог Исраила: «Вы послушны воле своего предка Ионадава, исполняете все его наставления и делаете всё, что он повелел».

19 Поэтому так говорит Вечный, Повелитель Сил, Бог Исраила: «Ионадав, сын Рехава, не останется без потомка, который будет Мне служить».

2 Go1980 to the house1004 of the Rechabites,7397 and speak1696 to them, and bring935 them into the house1004 of the LORD,3068 into413 one259 of the chambers,3957 and give them wine3196 to drink.8248

3 Then I took3947 Jaazaniah2970 the son1121 of Jeremiah,3414 the son1121 of Habaziniah,2262 and his brothers,251 and all3605 his sons,1121 and the whole3605 house1004 of the Rechabites;7397

4 And I brought935 them into the house1004 of the LORD,3068 into413 the chamber3957 of the sons1121 of Hanan,2605 the son1121 of Igdaliah,3012 a man376 of God,430 which834 was by the chamber3957 of the princes,8269 which834 was above4605 the chamber3957 of Maaseiah4641 the son1121 of Shallum,7967 the keeper8104 of the door:5592

5 And I set5414 before6440 the sons1121 of the house1004 of the Rechabites7397 pots1375 full4392 of wine,3196 and cups,3563 and I said559 to them, Drink8354 you wine.3196

6 But they said,559 We will drink8354 no3808 wine:3196 for Jonadab3122 the son1121 of Rechab7394 our father1 commanded6680 us, saying,559 You shall drink8354 no3808 wine,3196 neither you, nor your sons1121 for ever:5769

7 Neither3808 shall you build1129 house,1004 nor3808 sow2232 seed,2233 nor3808 plant5193 vineyard,3754 nor3808 have any: but all3605 your days3117 you shall dwell3427 in tents;168 that you may live2421 many7227 days3117 in the land127 where834 8033 you be strangers.1481

8 Thus have we obeyed8085 the voice6963 of Jonadab3082 the son1121 of Rechab7394 our father1 in all3605 that he has charged6680 us, to drink8354 no1115 wine3196 all3605 our days,3117 we, our wives,802 our sons,1121 nor our daughters;1323

9 Nor1115 to build1129 houses1004 for us to dwell3427 in: neither3808 have1961 we vineyard,3754 nor field,7704 nor seed:2233

10 But we have dwelled3427 in tents,168 and have obeyed,8085 and done6213 according to all3605 that Jonadab3122 our father1 commanded6680 us.

11 But it came1961 to pass, when Nebuchadrezzar5019 king4428 of Babylon894 came5927 up into413 the land,776 that we said,559 Come,935 and let us go935 to Jerusalem3389 for fear6440 of the army2428 of the Chaldeans,3778 and for fear6440 of the army2428 of the Syrians:758 so we dwell3427 at Jerusalem.3389

12 Then came1961 the word1697 of the LORD3068 to Jeremiah,3414 saying,559

13 Thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 the God430 of Israel;3478 Go1980 and tell559 the men376 of Judah3063 and the inhabitants3427 of Jerusalem,3389 Will you not receive3947 instruction4148 to listen8085 to my words?1697 said5002 the LORD.3068

14 The words1697 of Jonadab3082 the son1121 of Rechab,7394 that he commanded6680 his sons1121 not to drink8354 wine,3196 are performed;6965 for to this2088 day3117 they drink8354 none,3808 but obey8085 their father's1 commandment:4687 notwithstanding I have spoken1696 to you, rising7925 early7925 and speaking;1696 but you listened8085 not to me.

15 I have sent7971 also to you all3605 my servants5650 the prophets,5030 rising7925 up early7925 and sending7971 them, saying,559 Return7725 you now4994 every man376 from his evil7451 way,1870 and amend3190 your doings,4611 and go3212 not after310 other312 gods430 to serve5647 them, and you shall dwell3427 in the land127 which834 I have given5414 to you and to your fathers:1 but you have not inclined5186 your ear,241 nor3808 listened8085 to me.

16 Because3588 the sons1121 of Jonadab3082 the son1121 of Rechab7394 have performed6965 the commandment4687 of their father,1 which834 he commanded6680 them; but this2088 people5971 has not listened8085 to me:

17 Therefore3651 thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 God430 of hosts,6635 the God430 of Israel;3478 Behold,2005 I will bring935 on Judah3063 and on all3605 the inhabitants3427 of Jerusalem3389 all3605 the evil7451 that I have pronounced1696 against5921 them: because3282 I have spoken1696 to them, but they have not heard;8085 and I have called7121 to them, but they have not answered.6030

18 And Jeremiah3414 said559 to the house1004 of the Rechabites,7397 Thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 the God430 of Israel;3478 Because3282 834 you have obeyed8085 the commandment4687 of Jonadab3082 your father,1 and kept8104 all3605 his precepts,4687 and done6213 according to all3605 that he has commanded6680 you:

19 Therefore3651 thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 the God430 of Israel;3478 Jonadab3122 the son1121 of Rechab7394 shall not want3772 a man376 to stand5975 before6440 me for ever.3605 3117

6 Но они ответили: – Мы не пьём вина, потому что наш предок Ионадав, сын Рехава, повелел нам: «Ни вы, ни ваши потомки не должны никогда пить вина.

6 But they said,559 We will drink8354 no3808 wine:3196 for Jonadab3122 the son1121 of Rechab7394 our father1 commanded6680 us, saying,559 You shall drink8354 no3808 wine,3196 neither you, nor your sons1121 for ever:5769

7 Ещё вы не должны строить домов, сеять и возделывать виноградники; пусть ничего этого у вас не будет, потому что вы должны всегда жить в шатрах. Тогда вы долго проживёте на той земле, где вы кочуете».

7 Neither3808 shall you build1129 house,1004 nor3808 sow2232 seed,2233 nor3808 plant5193 vineyard,3754 nor3808 have any: but all3605 your days3117 you shall dwell3427 in tents;168 that you may live2421 many7227 days3117 in the land127 where834 8033 you be strangers.1481

8 Мы исполняем всё, что повелел нам Ионадав, сын Рехава. Ни мы, ни наши жёны, ни наши сыновья и дочери никогда не пьём вина,

12 И сказал Вечный Иеремии:

13 – Так говорит Вечный, Повелитель Сил, Бог Исраила: Пойди и скажи людям Иудеи и жителям Иерусалима: «Неужели вы не научитесь слушаться Моих слов? – возвещает Вечный. –

14 Ионадав, сын Рехава, повелел своим сыновьям не пить вина, и его повеление было соблюдено. Они и сегодня не пьют вина, потому что послушны повелениям своего предка. А Я снова и снова говорил вам, и вы не слушались Меня.

14 The words1697 of Jonadab3082 the son1121 of Rechab,7394 that he commanded6680 his sons1121 not to drink8354 wine,3196 are performed;6965 for to this2088 day3117 they drink8354 none,3808 but obey8085 their father's1 commandment:4687 notwithstanding I have spoken1696 to you, rising7925 early7925 and speaking;1696 but you listened8085 not to me.

15 Снова и снова Я посылал к вам всех Моих рабов пророков. Они говорили: „Обратитесь каждый от своего злого пути и оставьте свои злые деяния; не следуйте за чужими богами, чтобы служить им. 18 А роду рехавитов Иеремия сказал: – Так говорит Вечный, Повелитель Сил, Бог Исраила: «Вы послушны воле своего предка Ионадава, исполняете все его наставления и делаете всё, что он повелел».
