Глава 4

1 После того Дух Божий увел Иисуса в пустыню. Там предстояло Ему перенести искушения дьявола.

2 После сорока дней и ночей поста Иисус был истомлен голодом.

3 И приступил к Нему искуситель, и сказал: «Если Ты Сын Божий, прикажи этим камням стать хлебами».

4 Иисус возразил ему: «В Писании сказано: „Не хлебом единым должно жить человеку, но словом каждым, исходящим из уст Божьих“».

5 Взял Его тогда дьявол с собой во святой город, поставил на край стены Храма

6 и сказал Ему: «Если Ты Сын Божий, бросься вниз! Ведь сказано в Писании: „Ангелам Своим поручит Он Тебя, и на руках понесут Тебя, чтобы Ты ногой Своей не споткнулся о камень“».

7 Иисус отвечал ему: «Но там и другое написано: „Без нужды не испытывай Господа Бога своего“».

8 Наконец привел Его дьявол на высочайшую гору и, явив Ему великолепие всех царств мира,

9 сказал: «Всё это дам я Тебе, если Ты падешь ниц и поклонишься мне как божеству».

10 «Прочь от Меня, сатана! — вновь отвечал Иисус. — Сказано в Писании: „Господу Богу твоему поклоняйся и Ему одному служи“».

11 Тогда дьявол оставил Его, и тотчас пришли к Иисусу ангелы Божии, чтобы заботиться о Нем.

12 Вскоре Иисус услышал, что Иоанн взят под стражу. Он удалился в Галилею

13 и, оставив Назарет, поселился в Капернауме, что у моря Галилейского, в земле Завулона и Неффалима.

14 Так исполнилось сказанное через пророка Исайю:

15 «Земля Завулона и земля Неффалима, ведущая к морю, на той стороне Иордана, Галилея, страна язычников,

16 народ этот, пребывавший во тьме, увидел свет великий; для тех, кто жил в стране тени смертной, свет воссиял».

17 С тех пор Иисус стал проповедовать в Галилее. «Покайтесь, — говорил Он, — ибо приблизилось Царство Небесное!»

18 Проходя как-то берегом моря Галилейского, Иисус увидел двух братьев, закидывавших в море сеть: Симона, по прозванию Петр, и брата его Андрея. Они были рыбаки.

19 «Идите за Мной, — сказал Он им, — и Я сделаю вас ловцами людей».

20 Они сразу оставили сети и последовали за Ним.

21 Пройдя дальше, Иисус увидел других двух братьев: Иакова, сына Зеведеева, и брата его Иоанна, которые с отцом своим Зеведеем чинили сети в лодке. Их тоже позвал Иисус.

22 Тотчас, оставив лодку и отца своего, они последовали за Ним.

23 По всей Галилее ходил Иисус, уча в синагогах, возвещая Благую Весть о Царстве Божьем и исцеляя людей от всякой болезни и всякого недуга.

24 Со временем слух о Нем прошел и по всей Сирии. И приносили к Нему страдающих от разных болезней и мучительных недугов, одержимых бесами, больных падучей и разбитых параличом. Всех их исцелял Иисус.

25 И ходили за Ним толпы людей из Галилеи, из-за Иордана, из Иерусалима, Иудеи и Десятиградия.

Chapter 4

1 THEN Jesus was carried away by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness, to be tempted by the adversary.

2 So he fasted forty days and forty nights; but at last he was hungry.

3 And the tempter drew near and said to him, If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.

4 But he answered and said, It is written, that it is not by bread alone that man can live, but by every word which comes from the mouth of God.

5 Then the adversary took him to the holy city, and he made him to stand up on the pinnacle of the temple.

6 And he said to him, If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down; for it is written, that he will command his angels concerning you, and they will bear you up on their hands, so that even your foot may not strike a stone.

7 Jesus said to him, Again it is written, that you shall not try out the Lord your God.

8 Again the adversary took him to a very high mountain, and he showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.

9 And he said to him, All of these I will give to you, if you will fall down and worship me.

10 Then Jesus said to him, Go away, Satan, for it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.

11 Then the adversary left him alone; and behold the angels drew near and ministered unto him.

12 Now when Jesus heard that John was delivered up, he departed to Galilee.

13 And he left Nazareth, and came and settled in Capernaum, by the seaside, within the borders of Zabulon and of Napthali.

14 So that it might be fulfilled, which was said by the prophet Isaiah, who said,

15 O land of Zabulon, O land of Napthali, the way to the sea, across the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles!

16 The people who dwelt in darkness saw a great light, and those who settled in the country and in the midst of the shadows of death, light shone on them.

17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is coming near.

18 And while he was walking by the shore of the sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon who was called Peter and his brother Andrew, who were casting nets into the sea, for they were fishermen.

19 And Jesus said to them, Come after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.

20 So they immediately left their nets and went after him.

21 And when he left that place he saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and his brother John, in a ship with Zebedee their father, repairing their nets; and Jesus called them.

22 So they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him.

23 And Jesus travelled throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and sickness among the people.

24 And his fame was heard throughout Syria; so they brought to him all who were badly afflicted with divers sickness, and those who were tormented with pains, and the insane, and the epileptics, and the cripples; and he healed them.

25 So large crowds followed him from Galilee, and from the ten cities, and from Jerusalem and from Judaea, and from across the Jordan.

7 Jesus said to him, Again it is written, that you shall not try out the Lord your God.

8 Наконец привел Его дьявол на высочайшую гору и, явив Ему великолепие всех царств мира,

8 Again the adversary took him to a very high mountain, and he showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.

9 сказал: «Всё это дам я Тебе, если Ты падешь ниц и поклонишься мне как божеству».

9 And he said to him, All of these I will give to you, if you will fall down and worship me.

10 «Прочь от Меня, сатана! — вновь отвечал Иисус. — Сказано в Писании: „Господу Богу твоему поклоняйся и Ему одному служи“».

10 Then Jesus said to him, Go away, Satan, for it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.

11 Тогда дьявол оставил Его, и тотчас пришли к Иисусу ангелы Божии, чтобы заботиться о Нем.

11 Then the adversary left him alone; and behold the angels drew near and ministered unto him.

12 Вскоре Иисус услышал, что Иоанн взят под стражу. Он удалился в Галилею

12 Now when Jesus heard that John was delivered up, he departed to Galilee.

13 и, оставив Назарет, поселился в Капернауме, что у моря Галилейского, в земле Завулона и Неффалима.

13 And he left Nazareth, and came and settled in Capernaum, by the seaside, within the borders of Zabulon and of Napthali.

14 Так исполнилось сказанное через пророка Исайю:

20 So they immediately left their nets and went after him.

21 Пройдя дальше, Иисус увидел других двух братьев: Иакова, сына Зеведеева, и брата его Иоанна, которые с отцом своим Зеведеем чинили сети в лодке. Их тоже позвал Иисус.

21 And when he left that place he saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and his brother John, in a ship with Zebedee their father, repairing their nets; and Jesus called them.

22 Тотчас, оставив лодку и отца своего, они последовали за Ним.

22 So they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him.

23 По всей Галилее ходил Иисус, уча в синагогах, возвещая Благую Весть о Царстве Божьем и исцеляя людей от всякой болезни и всякого недуга.

23 And Jesus travelled throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and sickness among the people.

24 Со временем слух о Нем прошел и по всей Сирии. И приносили к Нему страдающих от разных болезней и мучительных недугов, одержимых бесами, больных падучей и разбитых параличом. Всех их исцелял Иисус.

24 And his fame was heard throughout Syria; so they brought to him all who were badly afflicted with divers sickness, and those who were tormented with pains, and the insane, and the epileptics, and the cripples; and he healed them.

25 И ходили за Ним толпы людей из Галилеи, из-за Иордана, из Иерусалима, Иудеи и Десятиградия.

25 So large crowds followed him from Galilee, and from the ten cities, and from Jerusalem and from Judaea, and from across the Jordan.
