Глава 23

1 Не может быть принят в общину ГОСПОДНЮ ни один мужчина, у которого повреждены яички или отрезан член.

2 И всякий незаконнорожденный тоже не может быть принят в общину ГОСПОДНЮ, также и все потомки его, вплоть до десятого поколения, не могут быть сопричислены к общине ГОСПОДНЕЙ.

3 Не могут быть приняты в общину ГОСПОДНЮ и аммонитянин, и моавитянин, равно и все потомки их вплоть до десятого поколения; и это на все времена.

4 Они ведь, когда вы шли из Египта, отказали вам в хлебе и воде; более того, наняли Валаама, сына Беора, из Петора месопотамского, чтобы призвал он на вас проклятия.

5 (Но ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш, не стал слушать его и обратил проклятия в благословения, ибо любит вас ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш.)

6 Во все дни ваши даже не пытайтесь ладить с ними или делать что-либо доброе для них.

7 А вот эдомитянина не презирайте, ибо он брат ваш. Также и египтянина, в стране которого вы были людьми пришлыми, — и его не презирайте.

8 Потомки египтян в третьем поколении могут быть приняты в общину ГОСПОДНЮ.

9 Когда вы разобьете стоянку, готовясь к сражению с врагом, остерегайтесь любого осквернения.

10 Если случится у кого-либо из вас извержение семени ночью и станет нечист он, должен тот выйти за стан и не возвращаться,

11 пока не наступят сумерки и он не омоет тело свое водой. После захода солнца он может вернуться в стан.

12 За станом у вас должно быть место, куда вы могли бы выходить по нужде.

13 Каждому в его снаряжении надо иметь лопатку, чтобы, выйдя за стан, он мог вырыть ямку для отправления нужды, а потом закопать в ней то, что извергнуто им.

14 Ведь ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш, идет вместе со станом вашим, чтобы спасать вас и даровать вам победу над врагами вашими; а потому стан ваш должен быть свят, чтобы не увидел Бог у вас чего-либо непристойного и не отвернулся от вас.

15 Не выдавай хозяину раба, который от него убежал к тебе, чтобы укрыться.

16 Позволь ему остаться среди вас в любом из ваших городов, по его выбору; не притесняй его.

17 Ни одной израильтянке нельзя быть жрицей любви в языческом святилище, и ни один израильтянин не должен продавать тело свое в капищах языческих.

18 Нельзя приносить в Святилище ГОСПОДА, Бога твоего, ни по какому обету деньги, заработанные продажной женщиной, как и плату, полученную таким же мужчиной, ибо ГОСПОДУ, Богу твоему, всё это отвратительно.

19 Давая в долг братьям своим, израильтянам, не требуй процентов с них — ни за серебро, ни за хлеб, вообще ни за какие иные вещи, которые дают под проценты.

20 С человека пришлого ты можешь взимать проценты, а с братьев своих никаких процентов не взимай; тогда ГОСПОДЬ, Бог твой, благословит тебя во всяком труде твоем в той стране, завладеть которой идешь.

21 Когда даешь обет ГОСПОДУ, Богу твоему, не медли с его исполнением; ГОСПОДЬ, Бог твой, не преминет спросить с тебя — удерживать обещанное грешно.

22 В том нет греха, если ты удержался от того, чтобы дать обет.

23 Но слово, слетевшее с языка, ты должен непременно исполнить; и исполнить это так точно, как ты своими собственными устами добровольно обещал ГОСПОДУ, Богу твоему.

24 Случись тебе оказаться в винограднике ближнего своего, есть виноград там можешь сколько угодно, пока не наешься, но класть себе в корзину нельзя.

25 И если будешь проходить по ниве ближнего своего, то опять же можешь срывать колосья руками, но пускать в ход серп, когда там хлеб на корню, нельзя.

Deuteronomy

Chapter 23

1 NO adulterer shall enter into the assembly of the LORD.

2 Neither shall a bastard enter into the assembly of the LORD; even to the tenth generation, his descendants shall not enter into the assembly of the LORD.

3 An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to the tenth generation, his descendants shall not enter into the assembly of the LORD for ever;

4 Because they did not meet you with bread and with water on the way, when you came forth out of Egypt; and because they hired against you Balaam the son of Beor from Pethor of Aram-nahrin (Mesopotamia) to curse you.

5 Nevertheless the LORD your God would not hearken to Balaam; but the LORD your God turned his curses into blessings to you, because the LORD your God loved you.

6 You shall not seek their peace nor their prosperity all the days of your life for ever.

7 You shall not drive away an Edomite, for he is your brother; you shall not drive away an Egyptian, because you were a sojourner in his land.

8 The children that are born to them shall enter into the assembly of the LORD in their third generation.

9 When you go forth into the camp against your enemies, you shall beware of every wicked thing.

10 If there is among you any man who is not clean by reason of an emission at night, then he shall go outside the camp, he shall not come within the camp;

11 But when the evening comes on, he shall bathe himself with water; and when the sun is down, he shall come into the camp again.

12 You shall have a latrine outside the camp, to which you shall go to relieve yourself.

13 And you shall have a peg upon your weapon; and it shall be, when you relieve yourself, you shall dig with it, and then you shall cover your dung;

14 For the LORD your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you and to subdue your enemies before you; therefore shall your camp be holy, that he may not see anything unclean in your camp, and turn away from you.

15 You shall not deliver to his master a servant who has escaped from his master to you;

16 But he shall dwell with you in the place which he shall choose in one of your towns, where it pleases him best; you shall not oppress him.

17 There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, also there shall be no sodomite of the sons of Israel.

18 You shall not bring the hire of a whore or the price of a dog into the house of the LORD your God for any vow; for both of these are an abomination before the LORD your God.

19 You shall not lend with interest to your brother: interest of money, interest of grain, and the interest of anything that is lent with interest;

20 To a foreigner you may lend with interest; but to your brother you shall not lend with interest, that the LORD your God may bless you in all that you set your hand to in the land which you shall go in to possess.

21 When you shall vow a vow to the LORD your God, you shall not be slack to pay it; for the LORD your God will surely require it of you; and it would be a sin in you.

22 But if you are unwilling to make a vow, then it shall be no sin in you.

23 That which is gone out of your lips you shall keep and perform; just as you have vowed a freewill offering to the LORD your God, which you have promised with your mouth.

24 When you come into your neighbor's vineyard, then you may eat grapes, your fill at your own pleasure; but you shall not put any into your vessel.

25 When you come into the standing wheat of your neighbor, you may pluck the ears with your hand; but you shall not put a sickle to your neighbor's standing grain.

1 Не может быть принят в общину ГОСПОДНЮ ни один мужчина, у которого повреждены яички или отрезан член.

1 NO adulterer shall enter into the assembly of the LORD.

2 И всякий незаконнорожденный тоже не может быть принят в общину ГОСПОДНЮ, также и все потомки его, вплоть до десятого поколения, не могут быть сопричислены к общине ГОСПОДНЕЙ.

2 Neither shall a bastard enter into the assembly of the LORD; even to the tenth generation, his descendants shall not enter into the assembly of the LORD.

3 Не могут быть приняты в общину ГОСПОДНЮ и аммонитянин, и моавитянин, равно и все потомки их вплоть до десятого поколения; и это на все времена.

3 An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to the tenth generation, his descendants shall not enter into the assembly of the LORD for ever;

4 Они ведь, когда вы шли из Египта, отказали вам в хлебе и воде; более того, наняли Валаама, сына Беора, из Петора месопотамского, чтобы призвал он на вас проклятия.

4 Because they did not meet you with bread and with water on the way, when you came forth out of Egypt; and because they hired against you Balaam the son of Beor from Pethor of Aram-nahrin (Mesopotamia) to curse you.

5 (Но ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш, не стал слушать его и обратил проклятия в благословения, ибо любит вас ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш.)

5 Nevertheless the LORD your God would not hearken to Balaam; but the LORD your God turned his curses into blessings to you, because the LORD your God loved you.

6 Во все дни ваши даже не пытайтесь ладить с ними или делать что-либо доброе для них.

6 You shall not seek their peace nor their prosperity all the days of your life for ever.

7 А вот эдомитянина не презирайте, ибо он брат ваш. Также и египтянина, в стране которого вы были людьми пришлыми, — и его не презирайте.

7 You shall not drive away an Edomite, for he is your brother; you shall not drive away an Egyptian, because you were a sojourner in his land.

8 Потомки египтян в третьем поколении могут быть приняты в общину ГОСПОДНЮ.

8 The children that are born to them shall enter into the assembly of the LORD in their third generation.

9 Когда вы разобьете стоянку, готовясь к сражению с врагом, остерегайтесь любого осквернения.

9 When you go forth into the camp against your enemies, you shall beware of every wicked thing.

10 Если случится у кого-либо из вас извержение семени ночью и станет нечист он, должен тот выйти за стан и не возвращаться,

10 If there is among you any man who is not clean by reason of an emission at night, then he shall go outside the camp, he shall not come within the camp;

11 пока не наступят сумерки и он не омоет тело свое водой. После захода солнца он может вернуться в стан.

11 But when the evening comes on, he shall bathe himself with water; and when the sun is down, he shall come into the camp again.

12 За станом у вас должно быть место, куда вы могли бы выходить по нужде.

12 You shall have a latrine outside the camp, to which you shall go to relieve yourself.

13 Каждому в его снаряжении надо иметь лопатку, чтобы, выйдя за стан, он мог вырыть ямку для отправления нужды, а потом закопать в ней то, что извергнуто им.

13 And you shall have a peg upon your weapon; and it shall be, when you relieve yourself, you shall dig with it, and then you shall cover your dung;

14 Ведь ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш, идет вместе со станом вашим, чтобы спасать вас и даровать вам победу над врагами вашими; а потому стан ваш должен быть свят, чтобы не увидел Бог у вас чего-либо непристойного и не отвернулся от вас.

14 For the LORD your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you and to subdue your enemies before you; therefore shall your camp be holy, that he may not see anything unclean in your camp, and turn away from you.

15 Не выдавай хозяину раба, который от него убежал к тебе, чтобы укрыться.

15 You shall not deliver to his master a servant who has escaped from his master to you;

16 Позволь ему остаться среди вас в любом из ваших городов, по его выбору; не притесняй его.

16 But he shall dwell with you in the place which he shall choose in one of your towns, where it pleases him best; you shall not oppress him.

17 Ни одной израильтянке нельзя быть жрицей любви в языческом святилище, и ни один израильтянин не должен продавать тело свое в капищах языческих.

17 There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, also there shall be no sodomite of the sons of Israel.

18 Нельзя приносить в Святилище ГОСПОДА, Бога твоего, ни по какому обету деньги, заработанные продажной женщиной, как и плату, полученную таким же мужчиной, ибо ГОСПОДУ, Богу твоему, всё это отвратительно.

18 You shall not bring the hire of a whore or the price of a dog into the house of the LORD your God for any vow; for both of these are an abomination before the LORD your God.

19 Давая в долг братьям своим, израильтянам, не требуй процентов с них — ни за серебро, ни за хлеб, вообще ни за какие иные вещи, которые дают под проценты.

19 You shall not lend with interest to your brother: interest of money, interest of grain, and the interest of anything that is lent with interest;

20 С человека пришлого ты можешь взимать проценты, а с братьев своих никаких процентов не взимай; тогда ГОСПОДЬ, Бог твой, благословит тебя во всяком труде твоем в той стране, завладеть которой идешь.

20 To a foreigner you may lend with interest; but to your brother you shall not lend with interest, that the LORD your God may bless you in all that you set your hand to in the land which you shall go in to possess.

21 Когда даешь обет ГОСПОДУ, Богу твоему, не медли с его исполнением; ГОСПОДЬ, Бог твой, не преминет спросить с тебя — удерживать обещанное грешно.

21 When you shall vow a vow to the LORD your God, you shall not be slack to pay it; for the LORD your God will surely require it of you; and it would be a sin in you.

22 В том нет греха, если ты удержался от того, чтобы дать обет.

22 But if you are unwilling to make a vow, then it shall be no sin in you.

23 Но слово, слетевшее с языка, ты должен непременно исполнить; и исполнить это так точно, как ты своими собственными устами добровольно обещал ГОСПОДУ, Богу твоему.

23 That which is gone out of your lips you shall keep and perform; just as you have vowed a freewill offering to the LORD your God, which you have promised with your mouth.

24 Случись тебе оказаться в винограднике ближнего своего, есть виноград там можешь сколько угодно, пока не наешься, но класть себе в корзину нельзя.

25 И если будешь проходить по ниве ближнего своего, то опять же можешь срывать колосья руками, но пускать в ход серп, когда там хлеб на корню, нельзя.

25 When you come into the standing wheat of your neighbor, you may pluck the ears with your hand; but you shall not put a sickle to your neighbor's standing grain.
