Chapter 40

1 AND the LORD said to Moses,

2 On the first day of the first month you shall set up the tabernacle of the congregation.

3 And you shall put in it the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the veil.

4 And you shall bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be placed upon it; and you shall bring in the candlestick and light the lamps thereof.

5 And you shall set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and fasten the hanging to the entry of the tabernacle.

6 And you shall set the altar of the burnt offering in front of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

7 And you shall set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shall put water in it.

8 And you shall set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court gate.

9 And you shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it, and shall sanctify it and all its vessels; and it shall be holy.

10 And you shall anoint the altar of the burnt offering and all its vessels, and sanctify the altar; and it shall be an altar most holy.

11 And you shall anoint the laver and its base, and sanctify it.

12 Then you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.

13 And you shall put upon Aaron the holy vestments and anoint him and sanctify him; that he may minister to me in the priest's office.

14 Then you shall bring his sons and clothe them with coats;

15 And you shall anoint them, as you did anoint Aaron your brother, that they may minister to me in the priest's office; for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.

16 Thus did Moses according to all that the LORD commanded him; so did he.

17 And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the week, that the tabernacle was set up.

18 And Moses set up the tabernacle and fastened its pegs and set up its boards and put in its bars and raised up its pillars.

19 And be spread the covering over the tabernacle and put the covering of skins over it; as the LORD commanded Moses.

20 And he took the testimony and put it into the ark and set the poles on the ark and put the mercy seat above upon the ark:

21 And he brought the ark into the tabernacle and set up the veil of the covering of the door and covered the ark of the testimony; as the LORD commanded Moses.

22 And he put the table in the tent of the congregation on the side of the tabernacle northward, outside the veil.

23 And he set the bread in order upon it before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses.

24 And he put the candlestick in the tabernacle of the congregation, over against the table on the side of the tabernacle southward.

25 And he lighted the lamps before the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.

26 And he put the golden altar in the tabernacle of the congregation in front of the veil;

27 And he burnt sweet incense upon it; as the LORD commanded Moses.

28 And he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle.

29 And he put the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meal offering; as the LORD commanded Moses.

30 And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there to wash with it.

31 And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet at it;

32 When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near to the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses.

33 And he set up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work.

34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode upon it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

36 And when the cloud was lifted up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel started onward in all their journeys;

37 But if the cloud was not lifted up, then they did not journey till the day that it was lifted up.

38 For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night in the sight of all the house of Israel throughout all their journeys.

2 «В первый день первого месяца поставь священный шатёр, то есть шатёр собрания,

3 поставь в священном шатре ковчег Соглашения, скрой ковчег за завесой,

4 потом принеси стол и положи на стол все предметы, которые должны быть на нём. Затем поставь в шатёр светильник, а на него поставь в положенных местах лампады.

5 Поставь в шатре золотой алтарь для приношения благовонного курения, поставь его перед ковчегом Соглашения, а потом повесь у входа в шатёр завесу.

6 Перед входом в священный шатёр поставь алтарь для сожжения приношений,

7 поставь чашу между шатром собрания и алтарём и налей в чашу воды.

8 Поставь завесы вокруг двора, а также повесь завесу у входа во двор.

9 Возьми елей помазания, помажь священный шатёр и всё в нём. Помазав елеем все эти предметы, ты освятишь их.

10 Помажь алтарь для сжигания приношений, помажь всё, что на алтаре, и освяти алтарь, и станет он великой святыней.

11 Потом помажь чашу и подставку под ней, освяти все эти предметы.

12 Приведи Аарона с сыновьями к входу в шатёр собрания, омой их водой,

13 потом одень Аарона в особые одежды, помажь его елеем и освяти, и тогда он сможет служить Мне священником.

14 Затем одень в одежды его сыновей

15 и помажь их, как помазал отца, и тогда они также смогут служить Мне священниками. Когда помажешь их, они станут священниками. Их род будет посвящён в священничество на все грядущие времена».

16 Моисей повиновался Господу и исполнил всё, что повелел Господь.

17 И вот, в назначенное время, в первый день первого месяца второго года, был поставлен священный шатёр.

18 Моисей поставил священный шатёр, как сказал Господь: сначала положил основания, потом установил брусья, потом поставил стяги и установил шесты.

19 После этого Моисей поставил над священным шатром наружный шатёр, а затем поставил над наружным шатром покрытие, сделав всё так, как повелел Господь.

20 Моисей взял Соглашение, положил его в священный ковчег и установил на ковчеге шесты. Потом положил на ковчег крышку,

21 а затем поставил священный ковчег в священном шатре. Он повесил в нужном месте завесу, чтобы отгородить ковчег Соглашения, как повелел ему Господь.

22 Затем Моисей поставил стол перед завесой с северной стороны священного шатра.

23 Потом он положил на стол перед Господом хлеб, как повелел ему Господь.

24 Он поставил светильник в шатре собрания, с южной стороны шатра напротив стола.

25 Затем Моисей поставил лампады на светильник перед Господом, как повелел ему Господь.

26 Моисей поставил в шатре собрания золотой алтарь перед завесой,

27 воскурив на алтаре благовонное курение, как повелел ему Господь.

28 Потом Моисей повесил завесу у входа в священный шатёр.

29 Он поставил у входа в священный шатёр алтарь для сожжения приношений, а затем сжёг на алтаре приношение; и принёс также Господу зерно, сделав всё это, как повелел ему Господь.

30 Потом Моисей поставил между шатром собрания и алтарём чашу и наполнил её водой для омовений.

31 Моисей, Аарон и сыновья Аарона пользовались этой чашей для омовения рук и ног.

32 Они совершали это омовение каждый раз, когда входили в шатёр собрания и когда приближались к алтарю, как Господь повелел Моисею.

33 Потом Моисей поставил двор вокруг священного шатра, поставил во дворе алтарь, а у входа во двор повесил завесу. Так Моисей закончил труд, порученный ему Господом.

34 Тогда шатёр собрания накрыло облако, и слава Господняя наполнила священный шатёр.

35 Моисей не мог войти в шатёр собрания, потому что его осеняло это облако, и слава Господняя наполняла священный шатёр.

36 Это было облако, которое указывало народу, когда ему трогаться в путь. Когда облако поднималось от священного шатра, израильский народ отправлялся в дорогу,

37 когда же облако стояло над священным шатром, люди оставались на месте до тех пор, пока облако не поднималось.

38 Днём облако Господнее стояло над священным шатром, а по ночам в облаке горел огонь, и весь израильский народ видел его во время своего путешествия.

1 AND the LORD said to Moses,

1 Тогда Господь сказал Моисею:

2 On the first day of the first month you shall set up the tabernacle of the congregation.

2 «В первый день первого месяца поставь священный шатёр, то есть шатёр собрания,

3 And you shall put in it the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the veil.

3 поставь в священном шатре ковчег Соглашения, скрой ковчег за завесой,

4 And you shall bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be placed upon it; and you shall bring in the candlestick and light the lamps thereof.

4 потом принеси стол и положи на стол все предметы, которые должны быть на нём. Затем поставь в шатёр светильник, а на него поставь в положенных местах лампады.

5 And you shall set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and fasten the hanging to the entry of the tabernacle.

5 Поставь в шатре золотой алтарь для приношения благовонного курения, поставь его перед ковчегом Соглашения, а потом повесь у входа в шатёр завесу.

6 And you shall set the altar of the burnt offering in front of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

6 Перед входом в священный шатёр поставь алтарь для сожжения приношений,

7 And you shall set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shall put water in it.

8 And you shall set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court gate.

8 Поставь завесы вокруг двора, а также повесь завесу у входа во двор.

9 And you shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it, and shall sanctify it and all its vessels; and it shall be holy.

9 Возьми елей помазания, помажь священный шатёр и всё в нём. Помазав елеем все эти предметы, ты освятишь их.

10 And you shall anoint the altar of the burnt offering and all its vessels, and sanctify the altar; and it shall be an altar most holy.

10 Помажь алтарь для сжигания приношений, помажь всё, что на алтаре, и освяти алтарь, и станет он великой святыней.

11 And you shall anoint the laver and its base, and sanctify it.

11 Потом помажь чашу и подставку под ней, освяти все эти предметы.

12 Then you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.

12 Приведи Аарона с сыновьями к входу в шатёр собрания, омой их водой,

13 And you shall put upon Aaron the holy vestments and anoint him and sanctify him; that he may minister to me in the priest's office.

13 потом одень Аарона в особые одежды, помажь его елеем и освяти, и тогда он сможет служить Мне священником.

14 Then you shall bring his sons and clothe them with coats;

14 Затем одень в одежды его сыновей

15 And you shall anoint them, as you did anoint Aaron your brother, that they may minister to me in the priest's office; for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.

15 и помажь их, как помазал отца, и тогда они также смогут служить Мне священниками. Когда помажешь их, они станут священниками. Их род будет посвящён в священничество на все грядущие времена».

16 Thus did Moses according to all that the LORD commanded him; so did he.

16 Моисей повиновался Господу и исполнил всё, что повелел Господь.

17 And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the week, that the tabernacle was set up.

17 И вот, в назначенное время, в первый день первого месяца второго года, был поставлен священный шатёр.

18 And Moses set up the tabernacle and fastened its pegs and set up its boards and put in its bars and raised up its pillars.

18 Моисей поставил священный шатёр, как сказал Господь: сначала положил основания, потом установил брусья, потом поставил стяги и установил шесты.

19 And be spread the covering over the tabernacle and put the covering of skins over it; as the LORD commanded Moses.

19 После этого Моисей поставил над священным шатром наружный шатёр, а затем поставил над наружным шатром покрытие, сделав всё так, как повелел Господь.

20 And he took the testimony and put it into the ark and set the poles on the ark and put the mercy seat above upon the ark:

23 Потом он положил на стол перед Господом хлеб, как повелел ему Господь.

24 And he put the candlestick in the tabernacle of the congregation, over against the table on the side of the tabernacle southward.

24 Он поставил светильник в шатре собрания, с южной стороны шатра напротив стола.

25 And he lighted the lamps before the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.

25 Затем Моисей поставил лампады на светильник перед Господом, как повелел ему Господь.

26 And he put the golden altar in the tabernacle of the congregation in front of the veil;

26 Моисей поставил в шатре собрания золотой алтарь перед завесой,

27 And he burnt sweet incense upon it; as the LORD commanded Moses.

27 воскурив на алтаре благовонное курение, как повелел ему Господь.

28 And he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle.

28 Потом Моисей повесил завесу у входа в священный шатёр.

29 And he put the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meal offering; as the LORD commanded Moses.

29 Он поставил у входа в священный шатёр алтарь для сожжения приношений, а затем сжёг на алтаре приношение; и принёс также Господу зерно, сделав всё это, как повелел ему Господь.

30 And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there to wash with it.

30 Потом Моисей поставил между шатром собрания и алтарём чашу и наполнил её водой для омовений.

31 And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet at it;

31 Моисей, Аарон и сыновья Аарона пользовались этой чашей для омовения рук и ног.

32 When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near to the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses.

32 Они совершали это омовение каждый раз, когда входили в шатёр собрания и когда приближались к алтарю, как Господь повелел Моисею.

33 And he set up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work.

35 Моисей не мог войти в шатёр собрания, потому что его осеняло это облако, и слава Господняя наполняла священный шатёр.

36 And when the cloud was lifted up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel started onward in all their journeys;
