Chapter 26

1 YOU shall make for yourselves no idols nor graven images, neither shall you erect obelisks for yourselves, nor shall you set up any image of stones in your land to bow down to them or worship them; for I am the LORD your God.

2 You shall keep my commandments and reverence my sanctuary; I am the LORD.

3 If you walk in my statutes and keep my commandments and do them,

4 Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

5 And your threshing shall last to the time of vintage, and the vintage shall last to the sowing time; and you shall eat your bread to the full and dwell in your land safely.

6 And I will give peace in your land, and you shall lie down and none shall make you afraid; and I will rid vicious beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.

7 And you shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.

8 And five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall pursue ten thousand; and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.

9 For I will return to you and make you great and multiply you and establish my covenant with you.

10 And you shall eat grain which has been stored, and bring forth the old grain before the new.

11 And I will set my tabernacle among you; and my soul shall not abhor you.

12 And I will walk among you and will be your God, and you shall be my people.

13 I am the LORD your God, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt that you should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke and made you walk upright.

14 But if you will not hearken to me and will not do all these commandments,

15 And if you despise my laws, or if your soul abhor my judgments so that you will not do all my commandments, and make my covenant of no effect;

16 I also will do this to you: I will visit you with terror, leprosy, scab, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes and cause life to waste away; and you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

17 And I will pour out my anger against you, and you shall be defeated before your enemies; they that hate you shall reign over you; and you shall flee when none pursue you.

18 And if you will not yet for all these things hearken to me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.

19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven like iron and your earth like brass;

20 And your strength shall be spent in vain; for your land shall not yield its increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.

21 And if you walk contrary to me and will not hearken to me, I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.

22 I will also send wild beasts against you, which shall bereave you of your children and destroy your cattle and make you few in number; and your highways shall be desolate.

23 And if by these things you shall not be disciplined, but continue to walk contrary to me;

24 Then I also will walk contrary to you and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.

25 And I will bring a sword upon you, which shall avenge the breaking of the covenant; and you shall flee to your cities; I will send pestilence among you; and you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.

26 And when I have broken the staff of your grain, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver your bread by weight; and you shall eat and not be satisfied.

27 And if you will not for all these things hearken to me, but walk contrary to me;

28 Then I will also walk contrary to you in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.

29 And you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall you eat.

30 And I will destroy your high places and break your idols and cast your carcasses upon the carcasses of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.

31 And I will make your cities waste and reduce your sanctuaries to desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odors.

32 And I will bring the land into desolation; and your enemies who dwell therein shall be astonished at it.

33 I will scatter you among the Gentiles, and will draw out a sword against you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.

34 Then shall the land enjoy its sabbaths as long as it lies desolate, while you are in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest and enjoy its sabbaths.

35 As long as it lies desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your sabbaths when you dwelt upon it.

36 And as for those who are left among you, I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee as fleeing from the sword; and they shall fall when none pursues them.

37 And they shall stumble one after another, as it were from the sword, when none pursues them; and they shall have no power to stand before their enemies.

38 And you shall perish among the Gentiles, and the land of your enemies shall devour you.

39 And those of you who are left shall pine away in their iniquity in their enemies' lands; and also in the iniquity of their fathers shall they pine away with them.

40 If they shall confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers, with their wickedness with which they transgressed against me, and also that they have walked contrary to me;

41 And that I also walked contrary to them, and brought them into the land of their enemies; and if then their uncircumcised heart shall be humbled, and they then shall accept the punishment of their iniquity;

42 Then I will remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.

43 The land also shall be left by them, and shall enjoy its sabbaths while it lies desolate without them; and they shall accept the punishment of their iniquity because they have despised my judgments and because their soul abhorred my statutes.

44 And yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies I will not abhor them, neither will I cast them away to destroy them utterly, nor have I nullified my covenant with them; for I am the LORD their God.

45 But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, and I became their God; I am the LORD.

46 These are the commandments and laws and judgments which the LORD made between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.

1 Не делайте себе идолов и истуканов, и столпов не ставьте у себя, и камней с изображениями не кладите в земле вашей, чтобы кланяться пред ними; ибо Я Иегова, Бог ваш.

2 Субботы Мои храните, и святилище Мое чтите. Я Иегова.

3 Если вы будете поступать по уставам Моим, и заповеди Мои будете хранить и исполнять их:

4 То Я дам вам дожди в свое время, и земля даст произрастения свои, и дерева полевые дадут плоды свои.

5 За молотьбою хлеба наступит у вас обирание винограда, за обиранием винограда наступит сеяние, и будете есть хлеб свой досыта, и будете жить на земле [вашей] безопасно.

6 Пошлю мир на землю, ляжете и никто вас не обеспокоит, сгоню лютых зверей с земли [вашей] и меч не будет ходить по земле вашей.

7 Прогоните врагов ваших и падут от меча пред вами.

8 Пятеро из вас прогонят сто, и сто из вас прогонят тьму, и падут враги ваши от меча пред вами.

9 Воззрю на вас [и благословлю вас] и дам вам плодородие, и размножу вас, и буду тверд в завете Моем с вами.

10 И будете есть старое от старого года, и выбросите старое, когда получите новое.

11 И поставлю жилище Мое среди вас, и душа Моя не возгнушается вами.

12 И буду ходить среди вас, и буду вашим Богом, а вы будете Моим народом.

13 Я Иегова, Бог ваш, Который вывел вас из земли Египетской, чтоб вы не были там рабами, и сокрушил ярмо ваше и сделал то, что вы стали ходить подняв голову.

14 Если же не послушаете Меня и не будете исполнять всех заповедей сих,

15 И если презрите Мои постановления, и если душа ваша возгнушается Моими законами, так что вы не будете исполнять всех заповедей Моих и нарушите завет Мой:

16 То и Я то же сделаю с вами, и пошлю на вас ужас, чахлость и горячку, которые повредят глаза и измучат душу, и будете сеять семена ваши напрасно, и враги ваши съедят их.

17 Обращу лице Мое на вас, и вы будете побиты врагами вашими, и будут господствовать над вами неприятели ваши, и побежите, когда никто не гонится за вами.

18 Если и при всем том не послушаете Меня, то Я всемеро увеличу наказание за грехи ваши;

19 И сломлю гордое упорство ваше, и небо ваше сделаю, как железо, и землю вашу, как медь.

20 Напрасно будет истощаться сила ваша, земля ваша не даст произрастений своих, и дерева земли [вашей] не дадут плодов своих.

21 Если же [после сего] пойдете против Меня и не захотите слушать Меня, то Я прибавлю вам ударов всемеро за грехи ваши.

22 Пошлю на вас зверей полевых, которые осиротят вас, истребят скот ваш и вас уменьшат, так что опустеют дороги ваши.

23 Если и после сего не исправитесь и пойдете против Меня:

24 То и Я [в ярости] пойду против вас, и Я поражу вас всемеро за грехи ваши.

25 И наведу на вас мстительный меч в отмщение за завет; если же вы укроетесь в города ваши, то пошлю на вас язву, и преданы будете в руки врага.

26 Хлеб, подкрепляющий человека, истреблю у вас, десять женщин будут печь хлеб ваш в одной печи, и будут возвращать хлеб ваш весом, вы будете есть и не насытитесь.

27 Если же и после сего не послушаете Меня и пойдете против Меня:

28 То и Я в ярости пойду против вас, и накажу вас всемеро за грехи ваши,

29 И будете есть плоть сынов ваших, и плоть дочерей ваших будете есть.

30 Разорю высоты ваши, и разобью статуи ваши, и повергну трупы ваши на трупы идолов ваших, и возгнушается душа Моя вами.

31 Города ваши сделаю пустынею и опустошу святилища ваши, и не буду обонять приятного благоухания [жертв] ваших.

32 Опустошу землю [вашу], так что смотря на нее ужаснутся враги ваши, поселившиеся на ней.

33 А вас рассею между народами и обнажу в след вас меч, и будет земля ваша пуста и города ваши разрушены.

34 Тогда удовлетворит земля за субботы свои во все дни запустения [своего]; когда вы будете в земле врагов ваших, тогда будет покоиться земля и удовлетворит за субботы свои.

35 Во все дни запустения [своего] будет покоиться, сколько не покоилась в субботы ваши, когда вы жили на ней.

36 Оставшимся из вас пошлю в сердца робость в земле врагов их, шум колеблющегося листа погонит их, и побегут, как от меча, и падут, когда никто не преследует.

37 И поткнутся друг на друга, как от меча, между тем как никто не преследует, и не будет вам места от врагов ваших.

38 И погибнете у народов, и пожрет вас земля врагов ваших.

39 А оставшиеся из вас исчахнут за свои беззакония в землях врагов ваших, и за беззакония отцев своих исчахнут.

40 Тогда признаются они в беззаконии своем и в беззаконии отцев своих, как они упорствовали против Меня и шли против Меня,

41 За что и Я [в ярости] шел против них и ввел их в землю врагов их; тогда покорится необрезанное сердце их, и тогда заплатят за беззаконие свое.

42 И Я вспомню завет Мой с Иаковом, и завет Мой с Исааком, и завет Мой с Авраамом вспомню, и землю вспомню.

43 Тогда как земля оставлена будет ими и будет удовлетворять за субботы свои, опустев от них, и они будут платить за свое беззаконие, за то, что презирали законы Мои и душа их гнушалась постановлениями Моими.

44 И тогда как они будут в земле врагов их, Я не презрю их и не возгнушаюсь ими до того, чтоб истребить их вовсе, чтоб разрушить завет Мой с ними; ибо Я Иегова, Бог их.

45 Вспомню для них завет с предками, которых вывел Я из земли Египетской пред очами народов, чтоб быть их Богом. Я Иегова.

46 Вот постановления и определения и законы, которые поставил Господь между Собою и между сынами Израилевыми на горе Синае, посредством Моисея.

2 You shall keep my commandments and reverence my sanctuary; I am the LORD.	2 Субботы Мои храните, и святилище Мое чтите. Я Иегова.
3 If you walk in my statutes and keep my commandments and do them,	3 Если вы будете поступать по уставам Моим, и заповеди Мои будете хранить и исполнять их:
4 Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.	4 То Я дам вам дожди в свое время, и земля даст произрастения свои, и дерева полевые дадут плоды свои.
5 And your threshing shall last to the time of vintage, and the vintage shall last to the sowing time; and you shall eat your bread to the full and dwell in your land safely.	5 За молотьбою хлеба наступит у вас обирание винограда, за обиранием винограда наступит сеяние, и будете есть хлеб свой досыта, и будете жить на земле [вашей] безопасно.
6 And I will give peace in your land, and you shall lie down and none shall make you afraid; and I will rid vicious beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.	6 Пошлю мир на землю, ляжете и никто вас не обеспокоит, сгоню лютых зверей с земли [вашей] и меч не будет ходить по земле вашей.
7 And you shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.	7 Прогоните врагов ваших и падут от меча пред вами.
8 And five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall pursue ten thousand; and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.	8 Пятеро из вас прогонят сто, и сто из вас прогонят тьму, и падут враги ваши от меча пред вами.
9 For I will return to you and make you great and multiply you and establish my covenant with you.	9 Воззрю на вас [и благословлю вас] и дам вам плодородие, и размножу вас, и буду тверд в завете Моем с вами.
10 And you shall eat grain which has been stored, and bring forth the old grain before the new.	10 И будете есть старое от старого года, и выбросите старое, когда получите новое.
11 And I will set my tabernacle among you; and my soul shall not abhor you.	11 И поставлю жилище Мое среди вас, и душа Моя не возгнушается вами.
12 And I will walk among you and will be your God, and you shall be my people.	12 И буду ходить среди вас, и буду вашим Богом, а вы будете Моим народом.
13 I am the LORD your God, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt that you should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke and made you walk upright.	13 Я Иегова, Бог ваш, Который вывел вас из земли Египетской, чтоб вы не были там рабами, и сокрушил ярмо ваше и сделал то, что вы стали ходить подняв голову.
14 But if you will not hearken to me and will not do all these commandments,	14 Если же не послушаете Меня и не будете исполнять всех заповедей сих,
15 And if you despise my laws, or if your soul abhor my judgments so that you will not do all my commandments, and make my covenant of no effect;	15 И если презрите Мои постановления, и если душа ваша возгнушается Моими законами, так что вы не будете исполнять всех заповедей Моих и нарушите завет Мой:
16 I also will do this to you: I will visit you with terror, leprosy, scab, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes and cause life to waste away; and you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.	16 То и Я то же сделаю с вами, и пошлю на вас ужас, чахлость и горячку, которые повредят глаза и измучат душу, и будете сеять семена ваши напрасно, и враги ваши съедят их.
17 And I will pour out my anger against you, and you shall be defeated before your enemies; they that hate you shall reign over you; and you shall flee when none pursue you.	17 Обращу лице Мое на вас, и вы будете побиты врагами вашими, и будут господствовать над вами неприятели ваши, и побежите, когда никто не гонится за вами.
18 And if you will not yet for all these things hearken to me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.	18 Если и при всем том не послушаете Меня, то Я всемеро увеличу наказание за грехи ваши;
19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven like iron and your earth like brass;	19 И сломлю гордое упорство ваше, и небо ваше сделаю, как железо, и землю вашу, как медь.
20 And your strength shall be spent in vain; for your land shall not yield its increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.	20 Напрасно будет истощаться сила ваша, земля ваша не даст произрастений своих, и дерева земли [вашей] не дадут плодов своих.
21 And if you walk contrary to me and will not hearken to me, I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.	21 Если же [после сего] пойдете против Меня и не захотите слушать Меня, то Я прибавлю вам ударов всемеро за грехи ваши.
22 I will also send wild beasts against you, which shall bereave you of your children and destroy your cattle and make you few in number; and your highways shall be desolate.	22 Пошлю на вас зверей полевых, которые осиротят вас, истребят скот ваш и вас уменьшат, так что опустеют дороги ваши.
23 And if by these things you shall not be disciplined, but continue to walk contrary to me;	23 Если и после сего не исправитесь и пойдете против Меня:
24 Then I also will walk contrary to you and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.	24 То и Я [в ярости] пойду против вас, и Я поражу вас всемеро за грехи ваши.

27 And if you will not for all these things hearken to me, but walk contrary to me;	27 Если же и после сего не послушаете Меня и пойдете против Меня:
28 Then I will also walk contrary to you in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.	28 То и Я в ярости пойду против вас, и накажу вас всемеро за грехи ваши,
29 And you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall you eat.	29 И будете есть плоть сынов ваших, и плоть дочерей ваших будете есть.
30 And I will destroy your high places and break your idols and cast your carcasses upon the carcasses of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.	30 Разорю высоты ваши, и разобью статуи ваши, и повергну трупы ваши на трупы идолов ваших, и возгнушается душа Моя вами.
31 And I will make your cities waste and reduce your sanctuaries to desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odors.	31 Города ваши сделаю пустынею и опустошу святилища ваши, и не буду обонять приятного благоухания [жертв] ваших.
32 And I will bring the land into desolation; and your enemies who dwell therein shall be astonished at it.	32 Опустошу землю [вашу], так что смотря на нее ужаснутся враги ваши, поселившиеся на ней.
33 I will scatter you among the Gentiles, and will draw out a sword against you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.	33 А вас рассею между народами и обнажу в след вас меч, и будет земля ваша пуста и города ваши разрушены.
34 Then shall the land enjoy its sabbaths as long as it lies desolate, while you are in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest and enjoy its sabbaths.	34 Тогда удовлетворит земля за субботы свои во все дни запустения [своего]; когда вы будете в земле врагов ваших, тогда будет покоиться земля и удовлетворит за субботы свои.
35 As long as it lies desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your sabbaths when you dwelt upon it.	35 Во все дни запустения [своего] будет покоиться, сколько не покоилась в субботы ваши, когда вы жили на ней.
36 And as for those who are left among you, I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee as fleeing from the sword; and they shall fall when none pursues them.	36 Оставшимся из вас пошлю в сердца робость в земле врагов их, шум колеблющегося листа погонит их, и побегут, как от меча, и падут, когда никто не преследует.
37 And they shall stumble one after another, as it were from the sword, when none pursues them; and they shall have no power to stand before their enemies.	37 И поткнутся друг на друга, как от меча, между тем как никто не преследует, и не будет вам места от врагов ваших.
38 And you shall perish among the Gentiles, and the land of your enemies shall devour you.	38 И погибнете у народов, и пожрет вас земля врагов ваших.
39 And those of you who are left shall pine away in their iniquity in their enemies' lands; and also in the iniquity of their fathers shall they pine away with them.	39 А оставшиеся из вас исчахнут за свои беззакония в землях врагов ваших, и за беззакония отцев своих исчахнут.

43 The land also shall be left by them, and shall enjoy its sabbaths while it lies desolate without them; and they shall accept the punishment of their iniquity because they have despised my judgments and because their soul abhorred my statutes.	43 Тогда как земля оставлена будет ими и будет удовлетворять за субботы свои, опустев от них, и они будут платить за свое беззаконие, за то, что презирали законы Мои и душа их гнушалась постановлениями Моими.
44 And yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies I will not abhor them, neither will I cast them away to destroy them utterly, nor have I nullified my covenant with them; for I am the LORD their God.	44 И тогда как они будут в земле врагов их, Я не презрю их и не возгнушаюсь ими до того, чтоб истребить их вовсе, чтоб разрушить завет Мой с ними; ибо Я Иегова, Бог их.
