Chapter 28

1 AND bring to you Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that they may minister to me in the priest's office, even Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron's sons.

2 And you shall make holy vestments for Aaron your brother for glory and for beauty.

3 And you shall speak to all who are wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make holy vestments for Aaron to consecrate him that he may minister to me in the priest's office.

4 And these are the vestments which they shall make for them: a breastplate and an ephod and a robe and an embroidered coat and a mitre and a girdle; and they shall make holy vestments for Aaron your brother and his sons that they may minister to me in the priest's office.

5 And they shall take gold and blue and purple and scarlet material and fine twined linen.

6 And they shall make the ephod of gold, of blue and purple and scarlet material and fine twined linen, the work of a craftsman.

7 It shall have the two shoulder-pieces thereof joined at the two edges; so it shall be joined together,

8 And the embroidered girdle of the ephod which is upon it shall be of the same, according to the work thereof; of gold, of blue and purple and scarlet material and fine twined linen.

9 And you shall take two onyx stones, and engrave on them the names of the sons of Israel;

10 Six of their names on one stone, and the other remaining six on the other stone, according to their birth;

11 With the work of an engraver in stones, like the engravings of a signet, you shall engrave the two stones with the names of the sons of Israel; and you shall mount them on the settings of gold.

12 And you shall put the two stones upon the shoulders of the ephod for stones of memorial to the children of Israel; and Aaron shall bear their names before the LORD upon his two shoulders for a memorial.

13 And you shall make settings of gold;

14 And two chains of pure gold, of braided work you shall make; twine, and fasten the two chains of braided work to the settings.

15 And you shall make the breastplate of judgment with the work of a craftsman; like the work of the ephod you shall make it; of gold, of blue and of purple and of scarlet material and fine twined linen.

16 It shall be foursquare being doubled; a span is its length and a span its width.

17 And you shall set in it settings of stones, four rows of stones; the first row shall be a sardius, a topaz, and an emerald:

18 And the second row a carbuncle, a sapphire, and a jasper.

19 And the third row a jacinth (zircon), carnelian, and an amethyst.

20 And the fourth row a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper; they shall be set in gold in their enclosings.

21 And the stones shall be engraved with the names of the sons of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet; every one shall be engraved with his name according to the number of the twelve tribes.

22 land you shall make upon the breastplate twin chains, braided work of pure gold.

23 And you shall make upon the breastplate two rings of pure gold, and shall put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.

24 And you shall fasten the two braided chains of gold on the two rings which are on the ends of the breastplate.

25 And the other two ends of the braided chains you shall fasten in the two settings, and put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod in front of it.

26 And you shall make two rings of gold, and you shall put them upon the two ends of the breastplate on the border thereof which is in the side of the ephod from within.

27 And you shall make two rings of gold, and shall put them on the two shoulder-pieces of the ephod underneath, toward the forepart thereof, over against the joining thereof, above the embroidered girdle of the ephod.

28 And they shall bind the breastplate by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue that it may rest upon the embroidered girdle of the ephod, so that the breastplate may not come loose from the ephod.

29 And Aaron shall bear the names of the sons of Israel in the breastplate of judgment upon his heart, when he enters the holy place, for a continual memorial before the LORD.

30 And you shall put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be upon Aaron's heart when he enters before the LORD; and Aaron shall bear the judgments of the children of Israel upon his heart before the LORD continually.

31 And you shall make the robe of the ephod all of blue.

32 And there shall be an opening in the top of it, in the midst thereof; and it shall have a binding of woven work round about the opening of it, hemmed on the edge so that it may not be torn.

33 And on the hem of it you shall make pomegranates of blue and of purple and of scarlet round about the hem thereof; and bells of gold shall be between them round about:

34 A golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, on the hem of the robe round about.

35 And it shall be upon Aaron when he ministers; and its sound shall be heard when he enters the holy place before the LORD and when he comes out, that he may not die.

36 And you shall make a crown of pure gold, and engrave upon it, like the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.

37 And you shall put it on blue lace, that it may be upon the mitre; upon the forefront of the mitre it shall be.

38 And it shall be upon Aaron's forehead, and Aaron shall bear the sins of the children of Israel when they shall offer holy sacrifices and all their holy gifts; and the mitre shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before the LORD.

39 And you shall make the coat of fine linen, and you shall also make the mitre of fine linen and a girdle of embroidered work.

40 And for Aaron's sons you shall make coats, and you shall make for them girdles, and bonnets you shall make for them, for glory and for beauty.

41 And you shall put them upon Aaron your brother, and upon his sons with him; and shall anoint them and consecrate them and sanctify them, that they may minister to me in the priest's office.

42 And you shall make them breeches of fine linen to cover their nakedness; from their loins to their thighs they shall reach;

43 And they shall be upon Aaron and upon his sons when they enter the tabernacle of the congregation or when they come near to the altar to minister in the holy place; that they may not bear iniquity and die; it shall be a statute for ever to Aaron and to his descendants after him.

2 И сделай священные одежды, Аарону брату твоему, для славы и красоты.

3 Что касается до тебя, поговори со всеми мудрыми сердцем, которых Я исполнил духом премудрости, чтоб они сделали Аарону одежды, для посвящения его в священники Мне.

4 Вот одежды, которые должны они сделать: наперсник и ефод {короткая одежда}, и верхняя риза, и хитон {долгая нижняя одежда} стяжной, кидар {головное украшение} и пояс. Итак пусть сделают священные одежды Аарону брату твоему, и сынам его, для поставления во священники Мне.

5 Пусть они возьмут золота, пряжи яхонтового и пурпурового, и червленого цвета, и виссона.

6 И сделают ефод из золота, из пряжи яхонтового, пурпурового и червленого цвета, и из крученого виссона, искусною работою.

7 У него должны быть на обоих краях его два нарамника связывающие, чтобы он был связан.

8 И пояс ефода, который поверх его, одинаковой с ним работы должен быть, из золота, из пряжи яхонтового и пурпурового, и червленого цвета, и крученого виссона.

9 И возьми два камня оникса, и вырежь на них имена сынов Израилевых.

10 Шесть имен их на одном камне, и шесть имен остальных на другом камне, по порядку рождения их.

11 Работою вырезывающего на камне, как вырезывают печать, вырежь на двух камнях имена сынов Израилевых; и вставь оные в золотые гнезда.

12 И положи два камня сии на нарамниках ефода; это камни в память сынов Израилевых; и будет носить Аарон имена их пред Иеговой на обеих раменах своих в память.

13 И сделай гнезда из золота;

14 И две цепочки из чистого золота; сделай толстые, работою витою, и прикрепи витые цепочки к гнездам.

15 Сделай наперсник суда искусною работою; сделай его такою же работою, как ефод, из золота, из пряжи яхонтового, пурпурового и червленого цвета, и из крученого виссона сделай его.

16 Он должен быть четыреугольный, двойной, в пядень длиною и в пядень шириною.

17 И положи на нем оправленные камни в четыре ряда. Рядом: рубин, топаз и изумруд: это один ряд.

18 Во втором ряду: карбункул, сапфир и алмаз.

19 В третьем ряду: яхонт, агат и аметист.

20 В четвертом ряду: хризолит и оникс, и яспис; они должны быть оправлены золотом в их гнездах.

21 Сих камней, по именам сынов Израилевых, должно быть двенадцать, по именам их; на каждом как на печати должно быть вырезано по одному имени из числа двенадцати колен.

22 К наперснику сделай толстые цепочки витою работою из чистого золота.

23 И сделай к наперснику два кольца золотых, и прикрепи два кольца к двум краям наперсника.

24 И вдень две цепочки золотые в два кольца по краям наперсника.

25 А два конца двух цепочек прикрепи к двум гнездам, и прикрепи к нарамникам ефода с лицевой стороны его.

26 Еще сделай два кольца золотых и прикрепи их к двум другим краям наперсника, на той стороне, которая лежит к ефоду внутрь.

27 Также сделай два кольца золотых и прикрепи их к двум нарамникам ефода снизу, с лицевой стороны его, у соединения его, над поясом ефода.

28 И прикрепят наперсник кольцами его к кольцам ефода посредством шнура яхонтового цвета, чтобы он был над поясом ефода, и чтобы не спадал наперсник с ефода.

29 И будет носить Аарон имена сынов Израилевых на наперснике суда у сердца своего, входя во святилище, в непрестанную память пред Иеговою.

30 И возложи на наперсник суда урим и туммим {свет и чистота}, и они будут у сердца Ааронова, когда ему входить пред лице Иеговы; и будет Аарон всегда носить суд сынов Израилевых у сердца своего пред лице Иеговы.

31 И сделай верхнюю ризу к ефоду всю яхонтового цвета.

32 Среди ее должно быть отверстие для головы; у отверстия ее вокруг должна быть обшивка тканая, подобно как у отверстия брони, чтобы не дралось.

33 По подолу ее сделай гранатовые яблоки из нитей яхонтового, пурпурового и червленого цвета, вокруг по подолу ее; и позвонки золотые между ними кругом.

34 Через ряд золотой позвонок и яблоко, золотой позвонок и яблоко, по подолу верхней ризы кругом.

35 Она будет на Аароне в служении, дабы слышен был от него звук, когда он входит во святилище пред лице Иеговы, и когда выходит, чтобы ему не умереть.

36 И сделай полированную дщицу из золота чистого, и вырежь на ней, как вырезывают на печати: Святыня Иегове.

37 И прикрепи оную шнуром яхонтового цвета к кидару, так чтобы она была на передней стороне кидара.

38 Она будет на челе Аароновом; и понесет на себе Аарон недостатки святынь, какие будут посвящать сыны Израилевы, и всех даров, посвящаемых ими; она будет непрестанно на челе его, в благоволение пред Иеговою.

39 И стяни хитон виссоном; также сделай кидар из виссона, и сделай пояс узорчатой работы.

40 Сделай и сынам Аароновым хитоны, сделай им поясы, сделай также им шапки для славы и красоты.

41 И облеки в оные Аарона, брата твоего, и сынов его с ним, и помажь их, и наполни руки их, и посвяти их, и они будут священниками Мне.

42 И сделай им нижнее платье льняное, для прикрытия наготы телесной, от чресл до голеней.

43 И да будут оные на Аароне и на сынах его, когда им входить в скинию собрания, или приступать к жертвеннику для служения во святилище, чтобы им не навести греха на себя, и не умереть. Это постановление вечное для него и для потомков его по нем.

4 And these are the vestments which they shall make for them: a breastplate and an ephod and a robe and an embroidered coat and a mitre and a girdle; and they shall make holy vestments for Aaron your brother and his sons that they may minister to me in the priest's office.

4 Вот одежды, которые должны они сделать: наперсник и ефод {короткая одежда}, и верхняя риза, и хитон {долгая нижняя одежда} стяжной, кидар {головное украшение} и пояс. Итак пусть сделают священные одежды Аарону брату твоему, и сынам его, для поставления во священники Мне.

5 And they shall take gold and blue and purple and scarlet material and fine twined linen.

5 Пусть они возьмут золота, пряжи яхонтового и пурпурового, и червленого цвета, и виссона.

6 And they shall make the ephod of gold, of blue and purple and scarlet material and fine twined linen, the work of a craftsman.

9 And you shall take two onyx stones, and engrave on them the names of the sons of Israel;

9 И возьми два камня оникса, и вырежь на них имена сынов Израилевых.

10 Six of their names on one stone, and the other remaining six on the other stone, according to their birth;

10 Шесть имен их на одном камне, и шесть имен остальных на другом камне, по порядку рождения их.

11 With the work of an engraver in stones, like the engravings of a signet, you shall engrave the two stones with the names of the sons of Israel; and you shall mount them on the settings of gold.

11 Работою вырезывающего на камне, как вырезывают печать, вырежь на двух камнях имена сынов Израилевых; и вставь оные в золотые гнезда.

12 And you shall put the two stones upon the shoulders of the ephod for stones of memorial to the children of Israel; and Aaron shall bear their names before the LORD upon his two shoulders for a memorial.

12 И положи два камня сии на нарамниках ефода; это камни в память сынов Израилевых; и будет носить Аарон имена их пред Иеговой на обеих раменах своих в память.

13 And you shall make settings of gold;

13 И сделай гнезда из золота;

14 And two chains of pure gold, of braided work you shall make; twine, and fasten the two chains of braided work to the settings.

14 И две цепочки из чистого золота; сделай толстые, работою витою, и прикрепи витые цепочки к гнездам.

15 And you shall make the breastplate of judgment with the work of a craftsman; like the work of the ephod you shall make it; of gold, of blue and of purple and of scarlet material and fine twined linen.

15 Сделай наперсник суда искусною работою; сделай его такою же работою, как ефод, из золота, из пряжи яхонтового, пурпурового и червленого цвета, и из крученого виссона сделай его.

23 And you shall make upon the breastplate two rings of pure gold, and shall put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.

24 And you shall fasten the two braided chains of gold on the two rings which are on the ends of the breastplate.

24 И вдень две цепочки золотые в два кольца по краям наперсника.

25 And the other two ends of the braided chains you shall fasten in the two settings, and put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod in front of it.

25 А два конца двух цепочек прикрепи к двум гнездам, и прикрепи к нарамникам ефода с лицевой стороны его.

26 And you shall make two rings of gold, and you shall put them upon the two ends of the breastplate on the border thereof which is in the side of the ephod from within.

26 Еще сделай два кольца золотых и прикрепи их к двум другим краям наперсника, на той стороне, которая лежит к ефоду внутрь.

27 And you shall make two rings of gold, and shall put them on the two shoulder-pieces of the ephod underneath, toward the forepart thereof, over against the joining thereof, above the embroidered girdle of the ephod.

27 Также сделай два кольца золотых и прикрепи их к двум нарамникам ефода снизу, с лицевой стороны его, у соединения его, над поясом ефода.

28 And they shall bind the breastplate by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue that it may rest upon the embroidered girdle of the ephod, so that the breastplate may not come loose from the ephod.

28 И прикрепят наперсник кольцами его к кольцам ефода посредством шнура яхонтового цвета, чтобы он был над поясом ефода, и чтобы не спадал наперсник с ефода.

29 And Aaron shall bear the names of the sons of Israel in the breastplate of judgment upon his heart, when he enters the holy place, for a continual memorial before the LORD.

29 И будет носить Аарон имена сынов Израилевых на наперснике суда у сердца своего, входя во святилище, в непрестанную память пред Иеговою.

30 And you shall put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be upon Aaron's heart when he enters before the LORD; and Aaron shall bear the judgments of the children of Israel upon his heart before the LORD continually.

30 И возложи на наперсник суда урим и туммим {свет и чистота}, и они будут у сердца Ааронова, когда ему входить пред лице Иеговы; и будет Аарон всегда носить суд сынов Израилевых у сердца своего пред лице Иеговы.

31 And you shall make the robe of the ephod all of blue.

31 И сделай верхнюю ризу к ефоду всю яхонтового цвета.

32 And there shall be an opening in the top of it, in the midst thereof; and it shall have a binding of woven work round about the opening of it, hemmed on the edge so that it may not be torn.

32 Среди ее должно быть отверстие для головы; у отверстия ее вокруг должна быть обшивка тканая, подобно как у отверстия брони, чтобы не дралось.

33 And on the hem of it you shall make pomegranates of blue and of purple and of scarlet round about the hem thereof; and bells of gold shall be between them round about:

33 По подолу ее сделай гранатовые яблоки из нитей яхонтового, пурпурового и червленого цвета, вокруг по подолу ее; и позвонки золотые между ними кругом.

34 A golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, on the hem of the robe round about.

34 Через ряд золотой позвонок и яблоко, золотой позвонок и яблоко, по подолу верхней ризы кругом.

35 And it shall be upon Aaron when he ministers; and its sound shall be heard when he enters the holy place before the LORD and when he comes out, that he may not die.

35 Она будет на Аароне в служении, дабы слышен был от него звук, когда он входит во святилище пред лице Иеговы, и когда выходит, чтобы ему не умереть.

36 And you shall make a crown of pure gold, and engrave upon it, like the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.

36 И сделай полированную дщицу из золота чистого, и вырежь на ней, как вырезывают на печати: Святыня Иегове.

37 And you shall put it on blue lace, that it may be upon the mitre; upon the forefront of the mitre it shall be.

37 И прикрепи оную шнуром яхонтового цвета к кидару, так чтобы она была на передней стороне кидара.

38 And it shall be upon Aaron's forehead, and Aaron shall bear the sins of the children of Israel when they shall offer holy sacrifices and all their holy gifts; and the mitre shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before the LORD.

38 Она будет на челе Аароновом; и понесет на себе Аарон недостатки святынь, какие будут посвящать сыны Израилевы, и всех даров, посвящаемых ими; она будет непрестанно на челе его, в благоволение пред Иеговою.

39 And you shall make the coat of fine linen, and you shall also make the mitre of fine linen and a girdle of embroidered work.

39 И стяни хитон виссоном; также сделай кидар из виссона, и сделай пояс узорчатой работы.

40 And for Aaron's sons you shall make coats, and you shall make for them girdles, and bonnets you shall make for them, for glory and for beauty.

40 Сделай и сынам Аароновым хитоны, сделай им поясы, сделай также им шапки для славы и красоты.

41 And you shall put them upon Aaron your brother, and upon his sons with him; and shall anoint them and consecrate them and sanctify them, that they may minister to me in the priest's office.

41 И облеки в оные Аарона, брата твоего, и сынов его с ним, и помажь их, и наполни руки их, и посвяти их, и они будут священниками Мне.
