2 And there was1961 no3808 water4325 for the congregation:5712 and they gathered themselves together6950 against5921 Moses4872 and against5921 Aaron.175

2 Und die Gemeine hatte kein Wasser4325, und versammelten sich6950 wider Mose4872 und Aaron175.

3 And the people5971 chided7378 with5973 Moses,4872 and spoke,559 saying,559 Would God3863 that we had died1478 when our brethren251 died1478 before6440 the LORD!3068

3 Und559 das Volk5971 haderte7378 mit Mose4872 und sprachen559: Ach, daß3863 wir umkommen wären1478, da unsere Brüder251 umkamen vor6440 dem HErrn3068!

|
4 And why4100 have ye brought up935 853 the congregation6951 of the Lord3068 into413 this2088 wilderness,4057 that we587 and our cattle1165 should die4191 there?8033
|
4 Warum habt ihr die Gemeine des HErrn3068 in diese Wüste4057 gebracht935, daß wir hie sterben4191 mit unserm Vieh1165?

|
5 And wherefore4100 have ye made us to come up5927 out of Egypt,4480 4714 to bring us in935 853 unto413 this2088 evil7451 place?4725 it is no3808 place4725 of seed,2233 or of figs,8384 or of vines,1612 or of pomegranates;7416 neither369 is there any water4325 to drink.8354

5 Und warum habt ihr uns aus Ägypten4714 geführt an5927 diesen bösen7451 Ort4725, da4725 man nicht säen2233 kann, da weder Feigen8384 noch Weinstöcke1612 noch Granatäpfel7416 sind, und ist935 dazu kein Wasser4325 zu trinken8354?

6 And Moses4872 and Aaron175 went935 from the presence4480 6440 of the assembly6951 unto413 the door6607 of the tabernacle168 of the congregation,4150 and they fell5307 upon5921 their faces:6440 and the glory3519 of the LORD3068 appeared7200 unto413 them.

6 Mose4872 und Aaron175 gingen935 von6440 der Gemeine zur Tür6607 der Hütte168 des Stifts4150 und fielen5307 auf6440 ihr Angesicht; und die Herrlichkeit3519 des Herrn3068 erschien7200 ihnen.

7 And the LORD3068 spoke1696 unto413 Moses,4872 saying,559

8 Take3947 853 the rod,4294 and gather thou the assembly together,6950 853 5712 thou,859 and Aaron175 thy brother,251 and speak1696 ye unto413 the rock5553 before their eyes;5869 and it shall give forth5414 his water,4325 and thou shalt bring forth3318 to them water4325 out of4480 the rock:5553 so thou shalt give853 the congregation5712 and their beasts1165 drink.8248

8 Nimm3947 den Stab4294 und versammle6950 die Gemeine, du und dein Bruder251 Aaron175, und redet1696 mit dem Felsen5553 vor ihren Augen5869; der wird sein Wasser4325 geben5414. Also sollst du ihnen5712 Wasser4325 aus3318 dem Felsen5553 bringen und die Gemeine tränken8248 und ihr Vieh1165.

9 And Moses4872 took3947 853 the rod4294 from before4480 6440 the LORD,3068 as834 he commanded6680 him.

9 Da nahm3947 Mose4872 den Stab4294 vor6440 dem HErrn3068, wie er ihm geboten hatte6680.
|
|
10 And Moses4872 and Aaron175 gathered the congregation together6950 853 6951 before413 6440 the rock,5553 and he said559 unto them, Hear8085 now,4994 ye rebels;4784 must we fetch3318 you water4325 out of4480 this2088 rock?5553
|
10 Und Mose4872 und Aaron175 versammelten6950 die Gemeine vor6440 dem Felsen5553 und sprach559 zu8085 ihnen: Höret, ihr Ungehorsamen4784, werden wir euch auch Wasser4325 bringen aus3318 diesem Felsen5553?

11 And Moses4872 lifted up7311 853 his hand,3027 and with his rod4294 he smote5221 853 the rock5553 twice:6471 and the water4325 came out3318 abundantly,7227 and the congregation5712 drank,8354 and their beasts1165 also.

11 Und Mose4872 hub seine Hand3027 auf7311 und schlug5221 den Felsen5553 mit dem Stabe4294 zweimal6471. Da ging3318 viel7227 Wassers4325 heraus, daß die Gemeine trank8354 und ihr Vieh1165.

12 And the LORD3068 spoke559 unto413 Moses4872 and Aaron,175 Because3282 ye believed539 me not,3808 to sanctify6942 me in the eyes5869 of the children1121 of Israel,3478 therefore3651 ye shall not3808 bring935 853 this2088 congregation6951 into413 the land776 which834 I have given5414 them.

12 Der HErr3068 aber sprach559 zu Mose4872 und Aaron175: Darum daß ihr nicht an mich geglaubet habt539, daß ihr mich heiligtet vor5869 den Kindern1121 Israel3478, sollt ihr diese Gemeine nicht ins Land776 bringen935, das ich ihnen geben5414 werde6942.

13 This1992 is the water4325 of Meribah;4809 because834 the children1121 of Israel3478 strove7378 with854 the LORD,3068 and he was sanctified6942 in them.

13 Das ist das Haderwasser4325, darüber die1992 Kinder1121 Israel3478 mit dem HErrn3068 haderten7378, und er geheiliget ward6942 an ihnen.
|
|
14 And Moses4872 sent7971 messengers4397 from Kadesh4480 6946 unto413 the king4428 of Edom,123 Thus3541 saith559 thy brother251 Israel,3478 Thou859 knowest3045 853 all3605 the travail8513 that834 hath befallen4672 us:

14 Und Mose4872 sandte7971 Botschaft4397 aus Kades6946 zu dem Könige4428 der Edomiter123: Also läßt dir dein Bruder251 Israel3478 sagen559: Du weißt3045 alle die Mühe8513, die uns betreten hat4672;

15 How our fathers1 went down3381 into Egypt,4714 and we have dwelt3427 in Egypt4714 a long7227 time;3117 and the Egyptians4714 vexed7489 us, and our fathers: 1

15 daß unsere Väter1 nach Ägypten4714 hinabgezogen sind3381, und wir lange7227 Zeit3117 in Ägypten4714 gewohnet haben3427, und die Ägypter4714 handelten uns und unsere Väter1 übel7489;

16 And when we cried6817 unto413 the LORD,3068 he heard8085 our voice,6963 and sent7971 an angel,4397 and hath brought us forth3318 out of Egypt:4480 4714 and, behold,2009 we587 are in Kadesh,6946 a city5892 in the uttermost7097 of thy border: 1366

16 und1366 wir schrieen6817 zu dem HErrn3068; der hat8085 unsere Stimme6963 erhöret und einen Engel4397 gesandt7971 und aus3318 Ägypten4714 geführet. Und siehe, wir sind zu Kades6946 in der Stadt5892 an deinen Grenzen7097.

17 Let us pass,5674 I pray thee,4994 through thy country:776 we will not3808 pass through5674 the fields,7704 or through the vineyards,3754 neither3808 will we drink8354 of the water4325 of the wells:875 we will go1980 by the king's4428 high way,1870 we will not3808 turn5186 to the right hand3225 nor to the left,8040 until5704 834 we have passed5674 thy borders.1366

17 Laß uns durch5674 dein Land776 ziehen3212. Wir wollen nicht durch Äcker7704 noch Weinberge3754 gehen5674, auch nicht Wasser4325 aus den Brunnen875 trinken8354; die Landstraße4428 wollen wir ziehen, weder zur Rechten3225 noch zur Linken8040 weichen5186, bis wir durch deine Grenze1366 kommen5674.

18 And Edom123 said559 unto413 him, Thou shalt not3808 pass5674 by me, lest6435 I come out3318 against7125 thee with the sword.2719

18 Die Edomiter123 aber sprachen559 zu ihnen: Du sollst nicht durch5674 mich ziehen, oder ich will dir3318 mit dem Schwert2719 entgegenziehen7125.

19 And the children1121 of Israel3478 said559 unto413 him, We will go5927 by the high way:4546 and if518 I589 and my cattle4735 drink8354 of thy water,4325 then I will pay5414 4377 for it: I will only,7535 without369 doing any thing1697 else, go through5674 on my feet.7272

19 Die Kinder1121 Israel3478 sprachen559 zu ihm: Wir wollen auf5927 der gebahnten Straße4546 ziehen, und5414 so wir deines Wassers4325 trinken8354, wir und unser Vieh4735, so wollen wir‘s bezahlen4377; wir wollen nichts1697, denn nur zu Fuße7272 hindurchziehen5674.

20 And he said,559 Thou shalt not3808 go through.5674 And Edom123 came out3318 against7125 him with much3515 people,5971 and with a strong2389 hand.3027
|
20 Er aber sprach559: Du sollst nicht herdurchziehen5674. Und die Edomiter123 zogen aus3318 ihnen entgegen7125 mit mächtigem3515 Volk5971 und starker2389 Hand3027.
|
|
21 Thus Edom123 refused3985 to give5414 853 Israel3478 passage5674 through his border:1366 wherefore Israel3478 turned away5186 from4480 5921 him.
|
21 Also weigerten die Edomiter123, Israel3478 zu vergönnen, durch5674 ihre Grenze1366 zu ziehen. Und5414 Israel3478 wich5186 von ihnen.
|
|
22 And the children1121 of Israel,3478 even the whole3605 congregation,5712 journeyed5265 from Kadesh,4480 6946 and came935 unto mount2022 Hor.2023
|
22 Und die Kinder1121 Israel3478 brachen5265 auf von Kades6946 und kamen935 mit der ganzen5712 Gemeine gen Hor2023 am Gebirge2022.
|
|
23 And the LORD3068 spoke559 unto413 Moses4872 and Aaron175 in mount2022 Hor,2023 by5921 the coast1366 of the land776 of Edom,123 saying,559
|
23 Und der HErr3068 redete559 mit Mose4872 und Aaron175 zu Hor2023 am Gebirge2022 an den Grenzen1366 des Landes776 der Edomiter123 und sprach559:

24 Aaron175 shall be gathered622 unto413 his people:5971 for3588 he shall not3808 enter935 into413 the land776 which834 I have given5414 unto the children1121 of Israel,3478 because5921 834 ye rebelled against4784 853 my word6310 at the water4325 of Meribah.4809
|
24 Laß sich Aaron175 sammeln622 zu seinem Volk5971; denn er soll nicht in das Land776 kommen935, das ich den Kindern1121 Israel3478 gegeben5414 habe, darum daß ihr meinem Munde6310 ungehorsam gewesen seid4784 bei dem Haderwasser4325.

25 Take3947 853 Aaron175 and Eleazar499 his son,1121 and bring them up5927 853 unto mount2022 Hor: 2023
|
25 Nimm3947 aber Aaron175 und seinen Sohn1121 Eleasar499 und führe sie auf5927 Hor2023 am Gebirge2022.
|
|
26 And strip6584 853 Aaron175 853 of his garments,899 and put them upon3847 853 Eleazar499 his son:1121 and Aaron175 shall be gathered622 unto his people, and shall die4191 there.8033
|
26 Und1121 zeuch Aaron175 seine Kleider899 aus und zeuch sie3847 Eleasar499 an, seinem Sohne. Und Aaron175 soll sich daselbst sammeln622 und sterben4191.
|
|
27 And Moses4872 did6213 as834 the LORD3068 commanded:6680 and they went up5927 into413 mount2022 Hor2023 in the sight5869 of all3605 the congregation.5712
|
27 Da tat Mose4872, wie ihm der HErr3068 geboten6680 hatte6213, und stiegen auf5927 Hor2023 am Gebirge2022 vor5869 der ganzen5712 Gemeine.
|
|
28 And Moses4872 stripped6584 853 Aaron175 853 of his garments,899 and put them upon3847 853 853 Eleazar499 his son;1121 and Aaron175 died4191 there8033 in the top7218 of the mount:2022 and Moses4872 and Eleazar499 came down3381 from4480 the mount.2022

28 Und1121 Mose4872 zog6584 Aaron175 seine Kleider899 aus und zog3847 sie Eleasar499 an, seinem Sohne. Und Aaron175 starb4191 daselbst oben7218 auf dem Berge2022. Mose4872 aber und Eleasar499 stiegen herab3381 vom Berge2022.

29 And when all3605 the congregation5712 saw7200 that3588 Aaron175 was dead,1478 they mourned1058 for853 Aaron175 thirty7970 days,3117 even all3605 the house1004 of Israel.3478

29 Und175 da die ganze Gemeine sah7200, daß Aaron175 dahin war, beweineten sie1058 ihn dreißig7970 Tage3117, das ganze Haus1004 Israel3478.
