1 Че́рги придве́рних, від Кора́хівців: Мешелемія, син Коре, з Асафових синів.

2 А в Мешелемії сини: перворо́джений — Захарій, другий — Єдіаїл, третій — Зевадія, четвертий — Ятніїл,

3 п'ятий — Елам, шостий — Єгоханан, сьомий — Ел'єгоенай.

4 А в Овед-Едома сини: перворо́джений — Шемая, другий — Єгозавад, третій — Йоах, четвертий — Сахар, і п'ятий — Натанаїл,

5 шо́стий — Амміїл, сьо́мий — Іссахар, во́сьмий — Пеуллетай, бо поблагословив його Бог.

6 У сина його Шемаї народи́лися сини, що панували над домом їхнього батька, бо вони — хоробрі вояки́.

7 Сини Шемаї: Отні, і Рефаїл, і Овед, Елзавад; його брати, мужі хоробрі, — Елігу та Шемахія.

8 Усі ці — з Оведових сині́в; вони й сини та брати їхні — кожен хоробрий муж у силі до праці, шістдеся́т і два для Овед-Едома.

9 А в Мешелемії було синів та братів, мужів хоробрих, вісімнадцять.

10 А в Хоси, з синів Мерарі, сини: голова — Шімрі, бо хоч не був він перворо́джений, та батько його настановив його за голову:

11 другий — Хілкійя, третій — Тевалія, четвертий Захарій; усіх синів та братів у Хоси — тринадцять.

12 У цих були че́рги придве́рних, за головами мужчин, че́рги відповідно до їхніх братів на слу́ження в Господньому домі.

13 І кинули вони жеребки́, як малий, так і великий, за домом їхніх батьків, для кожної брами.

14 І впав жеребо́к на схід для Шелемії. І кинули жеребки́ для сина його Захарія, мудрого дорадника, і вийшов жеребок його на пі́вніч,

15 для Овед-Едома, — на пі́вдень, а для синів його — комо́ри.

16 Для Шуппіма та для Хоси — на за́хід, ра́зом із брамою Шаллехет, де підійма́ється битий шлях, ва́рта навпроти ва́рти.

17 На схід — шість Левитів, на північ — четверо на день, на пі́вдень — четверо на день, а для комори — по двоє.

18 Для Парбару на за́хід — четверо для битого шля́ху, двоє для Парбару.

19 Оце че́рги придве́рних із синів Корахівців та з синів Мерарі.

20 А Левити: Ахійя був над ска́рбами Божого дому та до скарбів святині.

21 Сини Ладана, сини Ґершонівців, від Ладана, голови дому батьків, від Ладана Ґершонівця: Єхилі.

22 Сини Єхіїлі: Зетам та Йоїл, брат його, над ска́рбами Господнього дому.

23 Для Амрамівців, для Їцгарівців, для Хевронівців, для Аззіїлівців:

24 Шевуїл, син Ґершома, сина Мойсея, — володар над скарбами.

25 А брати його від Еліезера: його син — Рехавія, і його син Ісая, і його син — Йорам, і його син — Зіхрі, і його син — Шеломіт.

26 Цей Шеломіт та брати його були над усіма́ ска́рбами святині, які посвятив цар Давид та голови дому батьків, і тисячники, і сотники та зверхники війська, —

27 з во́єн та зо здо́бичі вони присвячували на підтри́мання Господнього дому, —

28 і все, що посвятив прозорли́вець Самуїл, і Саул, син Кішів, і Авнер, син Нерів, і Йоав, син Церуїн, — усе посвячене було в руці Шеломіта та братів його.

29 Від Їцгарівців: Кенанія та сини його — на зо́внішню роботу над Ізраїлем, на писарі́в та на су́ддів.

30 Від Хевронівців: Хашавія та брати його, мужі хоробрі, тисяча й сім сотень, — над пере́глядом Ізраїля з другого боку Йорда́ну на за́хід, для всякої Господньої праці та для роботи царсько́ї.

31 Від Хевронівців: Єрійя — голова для Хевронівця, для його наща́дків, за домом батьків. У сороковому році Давидового царюва́ння вони були досліджені, і серед них зна́йдено хоробрих мужів в гілеадському Язері.

32 А брати його — мужі хоробрі, дві тисячі й сім сотень, го́лови дому батьків. І цар Давид настанови́в їх над Руви́мівцями і над Ґадівцями та над половиною племени Манасіїного для всякої Божої справи та справи царсько́ї.

Chapter 26

1 CONCERNING the divisions of the porters whom David the king appointed as guards: Meshelemiah of the sons of Joseph.

2 And Meshelemiah had seven male children: namely, Zechariah his first-born, Jediael the second, Zechariah the third, Nathanael the fourth,

3 Elam the fifth, Johanan the sixth, Jadie the seventh.

4 Moreover, the sons of Ober-edom were Shemaiah his first-born, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, Shabar the fourth, and Matlal the fifth,

5 Gemaiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Pali the eighth; for the LORD blessed him.

6 Also to Shemaiah his son were sons born, who ruled over the house of their fathers; for they were mighty men of valour.

7 The sons of Shemaiah: Gathael, Cadhael, Obedael, and Zechariah, the mighty man, and Elijah and Semachiah.

8 All these were of the sons of Ober-edom, they and their sons and their brethren, able men with strength for the service of the sanctuary, sixty-two sons of Ober-edom.

9 And Meshelemiah's eldest son had sons, mighty men, eighteen.

10 Also Hasah, of the children of Merari, had sons, mighty men; his eldest son died, and his father made the second the chief, but he did not call him by the name of the eldest.

11 Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth; all the sons and brethren of Hasah were thirteen.

12 Among these were the divisions of the porters, even among the chief men, having watch one opposite another, to minister in the house of the LORD.

13 And they cast lots, the least as well as the great, according to the house of their fathers, for every gate.

14 And the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah his son, a wise counsellor, they cast lots; and his lot came out northward.

15 To Ober-edom southward; and to his sons the porches.

16 To Shuppim and Hasah the lot fell westward, as far as the gate which is made in the road that goes up, watch opposite watch.

17 Eastward were six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and for the porches two by two.

18 At Parbar westward, four at the road and two at Parbar.

19 These are the divisions of the porters among the sons of Korah and among the sons of Merari.

20 And of the Levites, Ahijah was over the storehouses of the house of God and over the storehouses of the dedicated things.

21 The sons of Laadan: of the descendants of Gershon, Laadan, chiefs of the fathers, even of Laadan the Gershonite, was Nahli.

22 The sons of Nahli: Zetham and Joel his brother who were over the storehouses of the house of the LORD.

23 Of the Amramites and the Izharites, the Hebronites and the Uzzielites,

24 Samuel the son of Gershon, the son of Moses, was chief in charge of the storehouses.

25 And his brother Eliezer, Rehabiah his son and Isaiah his son and Joram his son and Zichri his son and Shelomith his son.

26 This Shelomith and his brothers were in charge of all storehouses of the dedicated things, which David the king, the chiefs of the fathers, the commanders of the thousands and the hundreds, and the commanders of the army had dedicated.

27 From spoils won in battles they dedicated some to maintain the house of the LORD.

28 And all that Samuel the seer and Saul the son of Kish and Abner the son of Ner and Joab the son of Zuriah had dedicated; and whoever had dedicated anything, it was under the charge of Shelomith and of his brothers.

29 Of the Izharites: Chenaniah and his sons were for the secular business of Israel, as scribes and judges.

30 And of the Hebronites: Hashabiah and his brethren, men of valour, one thousand and seven hundred, were officers over the Israelites on this side of Jordan westward, in charge of all the business of the LORD and in the service of the king.

31 Among the Hebronites was Neriah the chief, even among the Hebronites, according to the generations of their fathers. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valour at Jazer of Gilead.

32 And his brethren, men of valour, were two thousand and seven hundred chiefs of the fathers, whom King David made chiefs over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, for every matter pertaining to God and the affairs of the king.

9 And Meshelemiah's eldest son had sons, mighty men, eighteen.

10 А в Хоси, з синів Мерарі, сини: голова — Шімрі, бо хоч не був він перворо́джений, та батько його настановив його за голову:

10 Also Hasah, of the children of Merari, had sons, mighty men; his eldest son died, and his father made the second the chief, but he did not call him by the name of the eldest.

11 другий — Хілкійя, третій — Тевалія, четвертий Захарій; усіх синів та братів у Хоси — тринадцять.

11 Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth; all the sons and brethren of Hasah were thirteen.

13 І кинули вони жеребки́, як малий, так і великий, за домом їхніх батьків, для кожної брами.

14 І впав жеребо́к на схід для Шелемії. І кинули жеребки́ для сина його Захарія, мудрого дорадника, і вийшов жеребок його на пі́вніч,
