11 И сожигают6999 они Господу3068 всесожжения5930 каждое утро1242 и каждый вечер,6153 и благовонное5561 курение,7004 и полагают рядами хлебы38994635 на столе7979 чистом,2889 и зажигают золотой2091 светильник4501 и лампады5216 его, чтобы горели1197 каждый вечер,6153 потому что мы соблюдаем8104 установление4931 Господа3068 Бога430 нашего, а вы оставили5800 Его.

13 Между тем Иеровоам3379 послал отряд в засаду3993 с тыла310 им, так что сам он был впереди3942 Иудеев,3063 а засада3993 позади310 их.

14 И оглянулись6437 Иудеи,3063 и вот, им битва4421 спереди6440 и сзади;268 и возопили6817 они к Господу,3068 а священники3548 затрубили26902690 трубами.2689

15 И воскликнули7321 Иудеи.3763063 И когда воскликнули7321 Иудеи,3763063 Бог430 поразил5062 Иеровоама3379 и всех Израильтян3478 пред3942 лицем3942 Авии29 и Иуды.3063

20 И не входил6113 уже в силу3581 Иеровоам3379 во дни3117 Авии.29 И поразил5062 его Господь,3068 и он умер.4191

21 Авия29 же усилился;2388 и взял5375 себе четырнадцать7026240 жен802 и родил3205 двадцать6242 два8147 сына1121 и шестнадцать83376240 дочерей.1323

2 Chronicles

Chapter 13

1 IN the eighteenth year of King Jeroboam the son of Nebat Abijah began to reign over the tribe of Judah.

2 He reigned three years in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Maachah the daughter of Uriel of Ramtha.

3 And Abijah mobilized an army of valiant men of war, four hundred thousand young men, who took upon themselves to go and fight against Jeroboam the son of Nebat. And Jeroboam also had mobilized an army, and he came to fight against him with eight hundred thousand young men, being mighty men of valour.

4 And Abijah stood up upon mount Zemaraim, which is in the border of mount Ephraim, and said. Hear me, O Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and all Israel;

5 Perhaps you know that the LORD God of Israel gave the kingdom over Israel to David for ever, even to him and to his sons by a covenant pertaining to the kingship.

6 Yet Jeroboam the son of Nebat, the servant of Solomon the son of David, rose up and rebelled against his lord.

7 And he gathered to him certain wicked men, the children of iniquity, and he prevailed against Rehoboam the son of Solomon, when Rehoboam was young and not advanced in years and did not know what to say, and did not comfort the people concerning the heavy yoke which Solomon his father had laid upon them.

8 And even now what can you say? You went away and renounced the kingdom of the house of David and went and served dead gods. And I reign over a single tribe, but you over many tribes, and there are with you golden calves which Jeroboam the son of Nebat made for you.

9 And you have cast out the priests the sons of Aaron and the Levites, and have made priests for yourselves of the people of the land. And whosoever comes to offer an offering, you take from him a young bullock and seven rams, and he becomes a priest of them that are not gods.

10 But as for us, we have not forsaken the LORD our God, and the priests, who minister to the LORD, are the sons of Aaron, and the Levites serve as they should;

11 They offer to the LORD every morning and every evening burnt offering and sweet incense, and set the shewbread in order upon the pure table; and the candlestick of gold with its lamps, and a boy having charge of the lamps lights them every evening; thus we have charge of the ordinances of the LORD our God;

12 But you have forsaken him and have gone after dead gods, and you serve them and worship them; and have forsaken the LORD God of your fathers, therefore you shall not prosper in the world.

13 But Jeroboam caused an ambush to come about behind them; so they were before Judah, and the ambush was behind them.

14 And when Judah looked back, behold, the battle was before and behind; and they cried unto the LORD, and the priests sounded with the trumpets.

15 And it came to pass when the men of the house of Judah shouted, the LORD defeated Jeroboam the son of Nebat and all Israel before Judah and Abijah.

16 And the children of Israel fled before Judah;

17 And Abijah slew them with a great slaughter; so there fell slain of Israel five hundred thousand young men.

18 Thus the children of Israel were defeated at that time. and the children of Judah prevailed, because they said, We rely upon the LORD God of our fathers.

19 And Abijah pursued Jeroboam, and took some great cities from him, Beth-el with its pastures, Shelah with its pastures, and Ephron with its pastures.

20 Neither did Jereboam recover strength again in the days of Abijah; and the LORD struck Jeroboam, and he died.

21 But Abijah became strong, and he married fourteen wives, and there were born to him twenty-two sons and sixteen daughters.

22 And the rest of the acts of Abijah and his ways, behold, are written in the poems of the prophet Iddo.

3 And Abijah mobilized an army of valiant men of war, four hundred thousand young men, who took upon themselves to go and fight against Jeroboam the son of Nebat. And Jeroboam also had mobilized an army, and he came to fight against him with eight hundred thousand young men, being mighty men of valour.

4 И стал6965 Авия29 на вершине горы2022 Цемараимской,6787 одной из гор2022 Ефремовых,669 и говорил:559 послушайте8085 меня, Иеровоам3379 и все Израильтяне!3478

4 And Abijah stood up upon mount Zemaraim, which is in the border of mount Ephraim, and said. Hear me, O Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and all Israel;

5 Perhaps you know that the LORD God of Israel gave the kingdom over Israel to David for ever, even to him and to his sons by a covenant pertaining to the kingship.

8 And even now what can you say? You went away and renounced the kingdom of the house of David and went and served dead gods. And I reign over a single tribe, but you over many tribes, and there are with you golden calves which Jeroboam the son of Nebat made for you.

9 And you have cast out the priests the sons of Aaron and the Levites, and have made priests for yourselves of the people of the land. And whosoever comes to offer an offering, you take from him a young bullock and seven rams, and he becomes a priest of them that are not gods.

10 А у нас — Господь3068 Бог430 наш; мы не оставляли5800 Его, и Господу3068 служат8334 священники,3548 сыны1121 Аароновы,175 и левиты3881 при своем деле.4399

10 But as for us, we have not forsaken the LORD our God, and the priests, who minister to the LORD, are the sons of Aaron, and the Levites serve as they should;

11 They offer to the LORD every morning and every evening burnt offering and sweet incense, and set the shewbread in order upon the pure table; and the candlestick of gold with its lamps, and a boy having charge of the lamps lights them every evening; thus we have charge of the ordinances of the LORD our God;

12 И вот, у нас во главе7218 Бог,430 и священники3548 Его, и трубы2689 громогласные,8643 чтобы греметь7321 против вас. Сыны1121 Израилевы!3478 не воюйте3898 с Господом3068 Богом430 отцов1 ваших, ибо не получите6743 успеха.6743

12 But you have forsaken him and have gone after dead gods, and you serve them and worship them; and have forsaken the LORD God of your fathers, therefore you shall not prosper in the world.

13 Между тем Иеровоам3379 послал отряд в засаду3993 с тыла310 им, так что сам он был впереди3942 Иудеев,3063 а засада3993 позади310 их.

13 But Jeroboam caused an ambush to come about behind them; so they were before Judah, and the ambush was behind them.

14 И оглянулись6437 Иудеи,3063 и вот, им битва4421 спереди6440 и сзади;268 и возопили6817 они к Господу,3068 а священники3548 затрубили26902690 трубами.2689

14 And when Judah looked back, behold, the battle was before and behind; and they cried unto the LORD, and the priests sounded with the trumpets.

15 И воскликнули7321 Иудеи.3763063 И когда воскликнули7321 Иудеи,3763063 Бог430 поразил5062 Иеровоама3379 и всех Израильтян3478 пред3942 лицем3942 Авии29 и Иуды.3063

15 And it came to pass when the men of the house of Judah shouted, the LORD defeated Jeroboam the son of Nebat and all Israel before Judah and Abijah.

16 И побежали5127 сыны1121 Израилевы3478 от Иудеев,3063 и предал5414 их Бог430 в руки3027 им.

16 And the children of Israel fled before Judah;

17 И произвели5221 у них Авия29 и народ5971 его поражение4347 сильное;7227 и пало5307 убитых2491 у Израиля3478 пятьсот25683967 тысяч505 человек376 отборных.977
