2 Каждый первосвященник должен мягко обращаться с невежественными и заблудшими, потому что он сам также подвержен слабостям. |
3 И потому он должен приносить жертвы за свои собственные грехи, а также за грехи других. |
4 Огромная честь принадлежит тому, кто исполняет обязанности первосвященника. Однако никто не может выбрать самого себя стать первосвященником, он должен быть призван Богом подобно Аарону. |

8 Хотя Иисус и был Сыном Бога, но научился послушанию через всё, что претерпел. |
9 И, став совершенным Первосвященником, Он превратился в источник вечного спасения для всех, кто Ему послушен. |
10 Тогда Бог объявил Его первосвященником, подобно Мелхиседеку. |
11 |
12 Вам бы уже следовало стать учителями, но вам снова необходимо преподавать первые уроки учения Божьего. Вам нужно молоко, а не твёрдая пища! |
13 Тот, кто всё ещё питается молоком, ничего не знает о праведной жизни, потому что он младенец. |
14 Твёрдая же пища предназначена для зрелых людей, ум которых, благодаря опыту, способен различать добро и зло. |

1 FOR every high priest chosen from among men is ordained on behalf of men about things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins: |
2 He is one who can humble himself and have compassion on those who are ignorant and go astray: for he himself also is subject to weaknesses. |
3 Because of these, he is obliged, just as he offers sacrifices for the people, likewise to offer for himself on account of his own sins. |
4 And no man takes this honor unto himself, but only he who is called of God as was Aar'on. |
5 So also Christ did not glorify himself by becoming a high priest, but he glorified him who said to him, Thou art my Son, Today have I begotten thee. |
6 And he said also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchis'e- dec. |
7 Even when he was clothed in the flesh, he offered prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death; and verily he was heard. |
8 And though he were a good Son, because of fear and suffering which he endured, he learned obedience. |
9 And he grew to be perfect, and became the author of life everlasting to all who obey him; |
10 So he was called by God, a high priest after the order of Mel-chis'e-dec. |
11 Now concerning this very Mel-chis'edec, we have much to say, but it is difficult to explain because you are dull of comprehension. |
12 By now you should be teachers because you have been a long time in training: But even now you need to be taught the primary writings of the word of God; but you are still in need of milk, and not strong meat. |
13 For every man whose food is milk, is unfamiliar with the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. |
14 But strong meat belongs to those who are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. |

13 For every man whose food is milk, is unfamiliar with the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. |

14 But strong meat belongs to those who are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. |
