Глава 18

1 Священники из левитов — да и весь род Левия — не должны иметь надела или наследия в Израиле. Они будут жить огненными жертвами Господу, потому что это их наследие.

2 У них не будет наследия среди братьев, потому что Господь — их наследие, как Он и обещал им.

3 Вот доля, которая причитается священникам от народа и от всех тех, кто приносит в жертву быка или овцу, — это плечо, челюсти и желудок.

4 Также ты должен давать им первые плоды со сборов зерна, молодого вина и масла, и шерсть от первой стрижки овец,

5 потому что Господь, твой Бог, выбрал левитов и их потомков из всех твоих родов, чтобы они всегда стояли и служили во имя Господа.

6 Если где-нибудь в Израиле левит уйдет из города, где он живет, и придет по желанию души своей на место, которое выберет Господь,

7 то он может служить во имя Господа, своего Бога, подобно всем своим братьям-левитам, которые стоят там перед Господом.

8 Он должен получать свою долю наравне с ними, несмотря на то что он выручил деньги от продажи семейной собственности.

9 Когда ты войдешь в землю, которую дает тебе Господь, твой Бог, не подражай мерзким обычаям тех народов.

10 Пусть не будет среди вас того, кто приносит в огненную жертву своего сына или свою дочь, занимается ворожбой и волшебством, толкует знамения, колдует,

11 наводит чары, вызывает призраков и духов или вопрошает мертвых.

12 Всякий, кто творит такие дела, отвратителен Господу, и из-за этих мерзких обычаев Господь, твой Бог, прогонит от тебя народы.

13 Ты должен быть непорочен перед Господом, твоим Богом.

14 Народы, которые ты выселишь, слушают тех, кто занимается волшебством и ворожбой. Но тебе Господь, твой Бог, не позволяет этого.

15 Из твоей среды, из твоих же братьев Господь, твой Бог, поставит тебе Пророка подобного мне. Ты должен слушать Его.

16 Ведь именно этого ты просил у Господа, своего Бога, при Хориве в день собрания, когда сказал: «Пусть не услышу я больше голос Господа, моего Бога, и не увижу больше этот великий огонь, чтобы не умереть».

17 Господь сказал мне: «То, что они говорят, — хорошо.

18 Я пошлю им Пророка, как тебя, из их братьев. Я вложу Мои слова в Его уста, и Он будет говорить им все то, что Я Ему повелю.

19 Если кто-то не станет слушать Мои слова, которые Пророк будет говорить от Моего имени, то Я Сам призову того к ответу.

20 Но пророк, который осмелится говорить от Моего имени хоть что-то, чего Я не повелевал ему, или пророк, который станет говорить от имени других богов, должен быть предан смерти».

21 Ты можешь сказать про себя: «Как нам узнать слово, которое Господь не говорил?»

22 Если то, что пророк объявляет от имени Господа, не происходит и не исполняется, то это то слово, которое Господь не говорил. Тот пророк говорил самонадеянно. Не бойся его.

Deuteronomy

Chapter 18

1 THE priests and the Levites, shall have neither portion nor inheritance among the children of Israel; but they shall eat sacrifices offered to the LORD, and his inheritance.

2 Therefore they shall have no inheritance among their brethren; the LORD is their inheritance, as he has said to them.

3 And this shall be the priest's due from the people: from those who offer a sacrifice, whether it be an ox or a lamb, they shall give to the priest the shoulder and the two cheeks and the maw.

4 The first fruits also of your grain, of your wine, and of your oil, and the first of the fleece of your sheep, you shall give him.

5 For the LORD your God has chosen him out of all your tribes, to stand to minister in the name of the LORD your God, him and his sons for ever.

6 And if a Levite come from any of the towns of your brethren out of all Israel, where he sojourned, and come with all the desire of his soul to the place which the LORD shall choose;

7 Then he shall minister in the name of the LORD his God, as do all his brethren the Levites, who stand there before the LORD.

8 They shall have equal portion to eat, besides that which comes of the sale of his patrimony.

9 When you come into the land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.

10 There shall not be found among you any one who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or who practices divination or black magic, or is an enchanter or a witch

11 Or a charmer or a consulter with familiar spirits or a sorcerer or a necromancer.

12 For whoever does these things is an abomination in the sight of the LORD your God; and because of these abominations the LORD your God is destroying them from before you.

13 You shall be innocent before the LORD your God.

14 For these nations which you are to possess hearken to men with familiar spirits and diviners; but as for you, the LORD your God has not allowed you to do so.

15 The LORD your God will raise up to you a prophet like me from the midst of you, of your brethren; to him you shall hearken.

16 Just as you asked of the LORD your God at Horeb on the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear any more the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.

17 And the LORD said to me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.

18 I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him.

19 Whosoever will not hearken to my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

20 But the prophet who shall presume to speak a word in my name which I have not commanded him to speak, or who shall speak in the name of other gods, that prophet shall be put to death.

21 And if you say in your heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?

22 When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, and the thing does not come to pass, nor follow; that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken, but the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.

2 У них не будет наследия среди братьев, потому что Господь — их наследие, как Он и обещал им.

2 Therefore they shall have no inheritance among their brethren; the LORD is their inheritance, as he has said to them.

3 And this shall be the priest's due from the people: from those who offer a sacrifice, whether it be an ox or a lamb, they shall give to the priest the shoulder and the two cheeks and the maw.

6 Если где-нибудь в Израиле левит уйдет из города, где он живет, и придет по желанию души своей на место, которое выберет Господь,

6 And if a Levite come from any of the towns of your brethren out of all Israel, where he sojourned, and come with all the desire of his soul to the place which the LORD shall choose;

7 то он может служить во имя Господа, своего Бога, подобно всем своим братьям-левитам, которые стоят там перед Господом.

7 Then he shall minister in the name of the LORD his God, as do all his brethren the Levites, who stand there before the LORD.

8 Он должен получать свою долю наравне с ними, несмотря на то что он выручил деньги от продажи семейной собственности.

8 They shall have equal portion to eat, besides that which comes of the sale of his patrimony.

9 Когда ты войдешь в землю, которую дает тебе Господь, твой Бог, не подражай мерзким обычаям тех народов.

9 When you come into the land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.

10 Пусть не будет среди вас того, кто приносит в огненную жертву своего сына или свою дочь, занимается ворожбой и волшебством, толкует знамения, колдует,

10 There shall not be found among you any one who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or who practices divination or black magic, or is an enchanter or a witch

11 наводит чары, вызывает призраков и духов или вопрошает мертвых.

11 Or a charmer or a consulter with familiar spirits or a sorcerer or a necromancer.

12 Всякий, кто творит такие дела, отвратителен Господу, и из-за этих мерзких обычаев Господь, твой Бог, прогонит от тебя народы.

12 For whoever does these things is an abomination in the sight of the LORD your God; and because of these abominations the LORD your God is destroying them from before you.

13 Ты должен быть непорочен перед Господом, твоим Богом.

13 You shall be innocent before the LORD your God.

14 Народы, которые ты выселишь, слушают тех, кто занимается волшебством и ворожбой. Но тебе Господь, твой Бог, не позволяет этого.

14 For these nations which you are to possess hearken to men with familiar spirits and diviners; but as for you, the LORD your God has not allowed you to do so.

15 Из твоей среды, из твоих же братьев Господь, твой Бог, поставит тебе Пророка подобного мне. Ты должен слушать Его.

15 The LORD your God will raise up to you a prophet like me from the midst of you, of your brethren; to him you shall hearken.

16 Ведь именно этого ты просил у Господа, своего Бога, при Хориве в день собрания, когда сказал: «Пусть не услышу я больше голос Господа, моего Бога, и не увижу больше этот великий огонь, чтобы не умереть».

17 Господь сказал мне: «То, что они говорят, — хорошо.

17 And the LORD said to me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.

18 Я пошлю им Пророка, как тебя, из их братьев. Я вложу Мои слова в Его уста, и Он будет говорить им все то, что Я Ему повелю.

18 I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him.

19 Если кто-то не станет слушать Мои слова, которые Пророк будет говорить от Моего имени, то Я Сам призову того к ответу.

19 Whosoever will not hearken to my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

20 Но пророк, который осмелится говорить от Моего имени хоть что-то, чего Я не повелевал ему, или пророк, который станет говорить от имени других богов, должен быть предан смерти».

20 But the prophet who shall presume to speak a word in my name which I have not commanded him to speak, or who shall speak in the name of other gods, that prophet shall be put to death.

21 Ты можешь сказать про себя: «Как нам узнать слово, которое Господь не говорил?»

21 And if you say in your heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?

22 Если то, что пророк объявляет от имени Господа, не происходит и не исполняется, то это то слово, которое Господь не говорил. Тот пророк говорил самонадеянно. Не бойся его.

22 When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, and the thing does not come to pass, nor follow; that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken, but the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.
