1 И вышел Аврам из Египта, сам, и жена его, и все, что у него было, и Лот с ним, в полуденный край.

2 И был Аврам очень богат скотом, и серебром, и золотом.

3 И продолжал он переходы свои от полуденного края до Вефиля, до места, где прежде был шатер его между Вефилем и между Гаем,

4 До места жертвенника, который он создал там вначале; и там призвал Аврам имя Иеговы.

5 И у Лота, который ходил с Аврамом, был мелкий и крупный скот, и шатры.

6 И земля не позволяла им жить вместе: поелику богатство их было так велико, что они не могли жить вместе.

7 Между пастухами скота Аврамова и между пастухами скота Лотова произошло несогласие; притом Хананеи и Ферезеи жили тогда в земле сей.

8 И потому Аврам сказал Лоту: да не будет раздора между мною и тобою, и между пастухами моими и пастухами твоими; ибо мы родственники.

9 Не вся ли земля пред тобою? прошу, отделись от меня. Если ты налево, то я направо; а если ты направо, то я налево.

10 Лот возвел очи свои и увидел равнину Иорданскую, которая прежде, нежели истребил Иегова Содом и Гоморр, вся, как сад Иеговы, как земля Египетская, орошалась водою, даже до Сигора.

11 И избрал себе Лот всю равнину Иорданскую; и двинулся Лот к востоку. Так разлучились они друг с другом.

12 Аврам стал жить на земле Ханаанской; а Лот стал жить в городах равнины, и доходил с шатрами до Содома.

13 Жители же Содомские были злы и весьма грешны пред Иеговою.

14 Между тем, Авраму, после того, как Лот отделился от него, Иегова сказал: возведи очи твои, и с места, на котором ты теперь, посмотри к северу, и к югу, и к востоку, и к западу.

15 Ибо всю землю, которую ты видишь, тебе дам Я и потомству твоему навсегда.

16 И дам тебе потомство, как песок земной; если возможно кому счесть песок земной, то и потомство твое сочтено будет.

17 Встань, пройди по земле сей в долготу и в широту ее: ибо Я тебе дам ее.

18 И так Аврам двинул шатер, и пошел, и поселился у дубравы Мамрия, что у Хеврона; и создал там жертвенник Иегове.

Chapter 13

1 AND Abram went up from Egypt, e and his wife and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the south.

2 And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.

3 And he went on his journey from the south as far as Beth-el, to the place where he had pitched his tent at first, between Beth-el and Ai;

4 To the place of the altar which he had built there at the first; and there Abram had called upon the name of the LORD.

5 And Lot also, who went with Abram, had large flocks, herds, and tents.

6 And the land was not able to support them, that they might dwell together; for their herds were so large that they could not dwell together.

7 And there was a strife between the herdsmen of Abram's cattle and the herdsmen of Lot's cattle; and the Canaanites and the Perizzites dwelt then in the land.

8 And Abram said to Lot, Let there be no strife between me and you, and between my shepherds and your shepherds; for we are brethren.

9 Behold the whole land is before you, separate yourself from me; if you choose the left hand, then I will choose the right hand; or if you depart to the right hand, then I will go to the left.

10 And Lot lifted up his eyes, and saw all the land of Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, like the garden of God, like the land of Egypt at the entrance of Zoan.

11 Then Lot chose for himself all the land of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east; thus they separated one brother from the other.

12 Abram dwelt in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelt in the villages of the plain, thus possessing the land as far as Sodom.

13 Now the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners in the presence of the LORD exceedingly.

14 And the LORD said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him, Lift up now your eyes, and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward;

15 For all the land which you see, to you will I give it, and to your descendants forever.

16 And I will make your descendants like the dust of the earth; so that if you can number the dust of the earth, then shall your descendants also be numbered.

17 Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it to you.

18 Then Abram removed his tent and came and dwelt by the oak of Mamre which is in Hebron, and built there an altar to the LORD

1 AND Abram went up from Egypt, e and his wife and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the south.

2 И был Аврам очень богат скотом, и серебром, и золотом.

2 And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.

3 И продолжал он переходы свои от полуденного края до Вефиля, до места, где прежде был шатер его между Вефилем и между Гаем,

5 И у Лота, который ходил с Аврамом, был мелкий и крупный скот, и шатры.

5 And Lot also, who went with Abram, had large flocks, herds, and tents.

6 И земля не позволяла им жить вместе: поелику богатство их было так велико, что они не могли жить вместе.

6 And the land was not able to support them, that they might dwell together; for their herds were so large that they could not dwell together.

7 Между пастухами скота Аврамова и между пастухами скота Лотова произошло несогласие; притом Хананеи и Ферезеи жили тогда в земле сей.

7 And there was a strife between the herdsmen of Abram's cattle and the herdsmen of Lot's cattle; and the Canaanites and the Perizzites dwelt then in the land.

8 И потому Аврам сказал Лоту: да не будет раздора между мною и тобою, и между пастухами моими и пастухами твоими; ибо мы родственники.

8 And Abram said to Lot, Let there be no strife between me and you, and between my shepherds and your shepherds; for we are brethren.

9 Не вся ли земля пред тобою? прошу, отделись от меня. Если ты налево, то я направо; а если ты направо, то я налево.

10 Лот возвел очи свои и увидел равнину Иорданскую, которая прежде, нежели истребил Иегова Содом и Гоморр, вся, как сад Иеговы, как земля Египетская, орошалась водою, даже до Сигора.

11 И избрал себе Лот всю равнину Иорданскую; и двинулся Лот к востоку. Так разлучились они друг с другом.

11 Then Lot chose for himself all the land of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east; thus they separated one brother from the other.

12 Аврам стал жить на земле Ханаанской; а Лот стал жить в городах равнины, и доходил с шатрами до Содома.

12 Abram dwelt in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelt in the villages of the plain, thus possessing the land as far as Sodom.

13 Жители же Содомские были злы и весьма грешны пред Иеговою.

13 Now the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners in the presence of the LORD exceedingly.

14 Между тем, Авраму, после того, как Лот отделился от него, Иегова сказал: возведи очи твои, и с места, на котором ты теперь, посмотри к северу, и к югу, и к востоку, и к западу.

14 And the LORD said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him, Lift up now your eyes, and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward;

15 Ибо всю землю, которую ты видишь, тебе дам Я и потомству твоему навсегда.

15 For all the land which you see, to you will I give it, and to your descendants forever.

16 И дам тебе потомство, как песок земной; если возможно кому счесть песок земной, то и потомство твое сочтено будет.

16 And I will make your descendants like the dust of the earth; so that if you can number the dust of the earth, then shall your descendants also be numbered.

17 Встань, пройди по земле сей в долготу и в широту ее: ибо Я тебе дам ее.

17 Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it to you.
