1 Тогда Юсуф не мог более сдержать себя перед слугами и воскликнул: – Уходите все прочь от меня! – и никого не было с Юсуфом, когда он открылся своим братьям.

2 Он так громко зарыдал, что услышали египтяне, и слух об этом дошёл до двора фараона.

3 Юсуф сказал своим братьям: – Я – Юсуф! Жив ли ещё мой отец?Но братья ничего не могли ответить, так они были ошеломлены.

4 Тогда Юсуф сказал братьям: – Подойдите же ко мне. И когда они подошли, он сказал: – Я ваш брат Юсуф, которого вы продали в Египет!

5 Но не тревожьтесь и не обвиняйте больше себя за то, что продали меня сюда: это Всевышний послал меня перед вами для спасения вашей жизни.

6 Уже два года, как в стране голод, и ещё пять лет не будет ни пахоты, ни жатвы.

7 Но Всевышний послал меня перед вами, чтобы сохранить ваш род на земле и великим избавлением спасти ваши жизни.

8 Итак, не вы послали меня сюда, но Всевышний: Он сделал меня отцом фараону, господином над всем его домом и правителем всего Египта.

9 Поспешите вернуться к моему отцу и скажите ему: «Вот что говорит твой сын Юсуф: „Всевышний сделал меня правителем всего Египта. Приходи ко мне, не медли;

10 ты будешь жить в области Гошен и будешь рядом со мной: и ты, и твои дети и внуки, и твой крупный и мелкий скот, и всё, что у тебя есть.

11 Там я смогу прокормить тебя – ведь предстоят ещё пять лет голода, – а иначе и ты, и твой дом, и все, кто принадлежат тебе, будете в нужде“».

12 Вы видите своими глазами, и вы, и мой брат Вениамин, что это действительно я говорю с вами.

13 Расскажите же моему отцу о том, как я прославлен в Египте, и обо всём, что вы видели. И поскорее приведите сюда моего отца.

14 Он обнял своего брата Вениамина и заплакал, и Вениамин плакал, обнимая его.

15 Он поцеловал всех братьев и с плачем обнимал их. Потом братья беседовали с ним.

16 Слух о том, что пришли братья Юсуфа, дошёл до двора фараона. Фараон обрадовался, и его придворные тоже,

17 и фараон сказал Юсуфу: – Скажи своим братьям: «Сделайте вот что: навьючьте своих животных, возвращайтесь в землю Ханаана

18 и приведите ко мне отца и ваши семьи. Я дам вам лучшую землю в Египте, и вы будете жить её плодами».

19 Ещё повелеваю тебе сказать им: «Сделайте вот что: возьмите в Египте колесницы для ваших детей и жён, привезите своего отца и приходите сами.

20 Не жалейте о вашем имуществе, потому что всё лучшее в Египте будет вашим».

21 Сыновья Исраила так и сделали. Юсуф дал им колесницы, как приказал фараон, и припасы в дорогу.

22 Каждому он подарил новую одежду, а Вениамину дал три с половиной килограмма серебра и пять смен одежды.

23 Отцу он послал десять ослов, нагруженных лучшим добром Египта, и десять ослиц, нагруженных зерном, хлебом и другими припасами для путешествия.

24 После этого он отпустил братьев, и когда они уходили, сказал им: – Ни о чём не тревожьтесь в пути!

25 Они отправились в путь из Египта, пришли к своему отцу Якубу в землю Ханаана

26 и сказали ему: – Юсуф жив! Юсуф – правитель всего Египта! У Якуба замерло сердце, и он не поверил им.

27 Но когда они передали ему всё, что сказал Юсуф, и когда он увидел колесницы, которые Юсуф послал, чтобы перевезти его, душа Якуба ожила.

28 И Исраил сказал: – Довольно! Мой сын Юсуф жив. Пойду и увижу его, прежде чем умру.

Chapter 45

1 THEN Joseph could no longer control his emotions before all those who stood in his presence; and he said, Cause everyone to go out from me. And there remained no one with him when Joseph made himself known to his brothers.

2 And he wept aloud; and the Egyptians and the household of Pharaoh heard it.

3 And Joseph said to his brothers, I am Joseph your brother; is my father still alive? But his brothers could not answer him because they were afraid at his presence.

4 And Joseph said to his brothers, Come near to me; and they came near. And he said to them, I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold to the Egyptians.

5 Now do not be grieved, nor displeased with yourselves, that you sold me here; for it was to provide for you that God sent me before you.

6 For behold the famine has been in the land for two years; and yet there are five years, in which there will be no one that sows or that reaps.

7 And God sent me before you to preserve you a remnant on the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.

8 So now it was not you who sent me here, but God; and he has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord over all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.

9 Hasten, and go up to my father, and say to him, Thus says your son Joseph, God has made me lord over all Egypt; come down to me, do not delay;

10 And you shall dwell in the land of Goshen, and you shall be near me, you and your children and your children's children and your flocks and your herds and all that you have;

11 And there I will provide for you; for the famine will yet last five years more; lest you, your household, and all that you have perish.

12 And, behold, your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin, that it is my mouth that speaks to you.

13 And you must tell my father of all my glory in Egypt and of all that you have seen; and you shall hasten and bring down my father here.

14 Then he fell upon his brother Benjamin's neck and wept; and Benjamin wept upon his neck.

15 Moreover he kissed all his brothers and wept upon them; and after that, his brothers talked with him.

16 And the news of their meeting was reported in Pharaoh's house, saying, Joseph's brothers are come; and the news pleased Pharaoh well, and his servants.

17 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, Say to your brothers, Do this: load your beasts with wheat, and go, and carry it to the land of Canaan;

18 And take your father and your households, and come to me; and I will give you the best of the land of Egypt, and you shall eat of the fat of the land.

19 Behold, you are the governor; say to your brothers, Do this: take wagons from the land of Egypt for your wives and for your little ones, and bring your father, and come.

20 And do not regard your stuff which you leave behind; for the choicest of all the land of Egypt is yours.

21 And the sons of Israel did so; and Joseph gave them wagons, according to the command of Pharaoh, and gave them provisions for the journey.

22 To all of them he gave each man two pairs of garments; but to Benjamin he gave three hundred pieces of silver and five pairs of garments.

23 And to his father he sent after this manner: ten asses laden with the good things of Egypt, and ten she-asses laden with wheat, wine, and provisions for his father's journey.

24 So he sent his brothers away, and they departed; and he said to them, Quarrel not on the journey.

25 And they went up out of Egypt, and came to the land of Canaan to their father Jacob.

26 And they told him, saying, Joseph is still alive, and he is governor over all the land of Egypt. But Jacob disregarded their story, for he did not believe them.

27 And they told him all the words which Joseph had said to them; and when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, their father Jacob was content.

28 And he said, This is great news for me, for my son Joseph is still alive; I will go and see him before I die.

3 Юсуф сказал своим братьям: – Я – Юсуф! Жив ли ещё мой отец?Но братья ничего не могли ответить, так они были ошеломлены.

3 And Joseph said to his brothers, I am Joseph your brother; is my father still alive? But his brothers could not answer him because they were afraid at his presence.

4 Тогда Юсуф сказал братьям: – Подойдите же ко мне. И когда они подошли, он сказал: – Я ваш брат Юсуф, которого вы продали в Египет!

4 And Joseph said to his brothers, Come near to me; and they came near. And he said to them, I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold to the Egyptians.

5 Но не тревожьтесь и не обвиняйте больше себя за то, что продали меня сюда: это Всевышний послал меня перед вами для спасения вашей жизни.

5 Now do not be grieved, nor displeased with yourselves, that you sold me here; for it was to provide for you that God sent me before you.

6 Уже два года, как в стране голод, и ещё пять лет не будет ни пахоты, ни жатвы.

6 For behold the famine has been in the land for two years; and yet there are five years, in which there will be no one that sows or that reaps.

7 Но Всевышний послал меня перед вами, чтобы сохранить ваш род на земле и великим избавлением спасти ваши жизни.

7 And God sent me before you to preserve you a remnant on the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.

8 Итак, не вы послали меня сюда, но Всевышний: Он сделал меня отцом фараону, господином над всем его домом и правителем всего Египта.

8 So now it was not you who sent me here, but God; and he has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord over all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.

9 Поспешите вернуться к моему отцу и скажите ему: «Вот что говорит твой сын Юсуф: „Всевышний сделал меня правителем всего Египта. Приходи ко мне, не медли;

9 Hasten, and go up to my father, and say to him, Thus says your son Joseph, God has made me lord over all Egypt; come down to me, do not delay;

10 ты будешь жить в области Гошен и будешь рядом со мной: и ты, и твои дети и внуки, и твой крупный и мелкий скот, и всё, что у тебя есть.

10 And you shall dwell in the land of Goshen, and you shall be near me, you and your children and your children's children and your flocks and your herds and all that you have;

11 Там я смогу прокормить тебя – ведь предстоят ещё пять лет голода, – а иначе и ты, и твой дом, и все, кто принадлежат тебе, будете в нужде“».

11 And there I will provide for you; for the famine will yet last five years more; lest you, your household, and all that you have perish.

12 Вы видите своими глазами, и вы, и мой брат Вениамин, что это действительно я говорю с вами.

12 And, behold, your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin, that it is my mouth that speaks to you.

13 Расскажите же моему отцу о том, как я прославлен в Египте, и обо всём, что вы видели. И поскорее приведите сюда моего отца.

13 And you must tell my father of all my glory in Egypt and of all that you have seen; and you shall hasten and bring down my father here.

14 Он обнял своего брата Вениамина и заплакал, и Вениамин плакал, обнимая его.

14 Then he fell upon his brother Benjamin's neck and wept; and Benjamin wept upon his neck.

15 Он поцеловал всех братьев и с плачем обнимал их. Потом братья беседовали с ним.

15 Moreover he kissed all his brothers and wept upon them; and after that, his brothers talked with him.

16 Слух о том, что пришли братья Юсуфа, дошёл до двора фараона. Фараон обрадовался, и его придворные тоже,

16 And the news of their meeting was reported in Pharaoh's house, saying, Joseph's brothers are come; and the news pleased Pharaoh well, and his servants.

17 и фараон сказал Юсуфу: – Скажи своим братьям: «Сделайте вот что: навьючьте своих животных, возвращайтесь в землю Ханаана

17 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, Say to your brothers, Do this: load your beasts with wheat, and go, and carry it to the land of Canaan;

18 и приведите ко мне отца и ваши семьи. Я дам вам лучшую землю в Египте, и вы будете жить её плодами».

18 And take your father and your households, and come to me; and I will give you the best of the land of Egypt, and you shall eat of the fat of the land.

19 Ещё повелеваю тебе сказать им: «Сделайте вот что: возьмите в Египте колесницы для ваших детей и жён, привезите своего отца и приходите сами.

19 Behold, you are the governor; say to your brothers, Do this: take wagons from the land of Egypt for your wives and for your little ones, and bring your father, and come.

20 Не жалейте о вашем имуществе, потому что всё лучшее в Египте будет вашим».

20 And do not regard your stuff which you leave behind; for the choicest of all the land of Egypt is yours.

21 Сыновья Исраила так и сделали. Юсуф дал им колесницы, как приказал фараон, и припасы в дорогу.

21 And the sons of Israel did so; and Joseph gave them wagons, according to the command of Pharaoh, and gave them provisions for the journey.

22 Каждому он подарил новую одежду, а Вениамину дал три с половиной килограмма серебра и пять смен одежды.

22 To all of them he gave each man two pairs of garments; but to Benjamin he gave three hundred pieces of silver and five pairs of garments.

24 So he sent his brothers away, and they departed; and he said to them, Quarrel not on the journey.

25 Они отправились в путь из Египта, пришли к своему отцу Якубу в землю Ханаана

25 And they went up out of Egypt, and came to the land of Canaan to their father Jacob.

26 и сказали ему: – Юсуф жив! Юсуф – правитель всего Египта! У Якуба замерло сердце, и он не поверил им.

26 And they told him, saying, Joseph is still alive, and he is governor over all the land of Egypt. But Jacob disregarded their story, for he did not believe them.

27 Но когда они передали ему всё, что сказал Юсуф, и когда он увидел колесницы, которые Юсуф послал, чтобы перевезти его, душа Якуба ожила.

27 And they told him all the words which Joseph had said to them; and when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, their father Jacob was content.

28 И Исраил сказал: – Довольно! Мой сын Юсуф жив. Пойду и увижу его, прежде чем умру.

28 And he said, This is great news for me, for my son Joseph is still alive; I will go and see him before I die.
