1 Когда Иеремия ещё был заключён в царской темнице, слово Вечного было к нему во второй раз:

2 – Так говорит Вечный, Который сотворил землю, Вечный, Который создал её и утвердил, Вечный – Его имя:

3 Воззови ко Мне, и Я тебе отвечу – возвещу тебе великое и недоступное, чего ты не знаешь.

4 Ведь так говорит Вечный, Бог Исраила, о домах этого города и о царских дворцах Иудеи, которые были разрушены, чтобы построить защиту от осадных валов и от меча атакующих:

5 – Исраильтяне будут сражаться с вавилонянами, но их дома наполнятся трупами тех, кого Я сражу в Своём гневе и ярости, потому что Я скрыл Своё лицо от этого города из-за всех его злодеяний.

6 Но Я дам ему и здоровье, и исцеление; Я исцелю Мой народ и открою ему изобилие мира и безопасности.

7 Я восстановлю Иудею и Исраил и отстрою их такими же, как прежде.

8 Я очищу их от всех грехов, которые они совершили передо Мной, и прощу все их беззакония, когда они восставали против Меня.

9 Тогда этот город принесёт Мне славу, радость, хвалу и честь перед всеми народами земли, которые услышат обо всём добре, которое Я делаю для него; они испугаются и затрепещут, узнав обо всём добре и мире, которые Я дам этому городу.

10 Так говорит Вечный: – Вы говорите об этой земле: «Это пустыня без людей и животных». Но раздадутся ещё в городах Иудеи и на опустевших улицах Иерусалима, где не живут ни люди, ни звери,

11 звуки веселья и радости, голоса жениха и невесты, голоса несущих благодарственные жертвы в дом Вечного и говорящих:
«Славьте Вечного, Повелителя Сил, потому что Он благ; милость Его – навеки».Ведь Я верну в эту землю благополучие, как прежде, – говорит Вечный.

12 Так говорит Вечный, Повелитель Сил: – В этом пустынном краю, где нет ни людей, ни животных, вблизи всех этих городов снова будут пастбища, на которых пастухи будут пасти свои стада.

13 В городах нагорий, западных предгорий и Негева, в землях Вениамина, в окрестностях Иерусалима и в городах Иудеи стада будут вновь проходить под рукою того, кто их пересчитывает, – говорит Вечный.

14 Непременно наступят дни, – возвещает Вечный, – когда Я исполню доброе обещание, которое Я дал Исраилу и Иудее.

15 – В те дни и в то время, когда Я произращу праведную Ветвь из рода Давуда, Он будет вершить в стране справедливость и правосудие.

16 В те дни Иудея будет спасена и Иерусалим будет жить в безопасности.Вот имя, которым его назовут: «Вечный – наша праведность».

17 Ведь так говорит Вечный: – Давуд не останется без потомка, сидящего на престоле Исраила,

18 а священнослужители-левиты не останутся без стоящего всегда передо Мной, чтобы совершать всесожжения, сжигать хлебные приношения и приносить жертвы.

19 Было к Иеремии слово Вечного:

20 – Так говорит Вечный: Если кто-нибудь сможет расторгнуть Мой союз с днём и Мой союз с ночью, чтобы день и ночь больше не наступали в положенное им время,

21 то расторгнется и Моё соглашение с Давудом, Моим рабом, и со священнослужителями-левитами, которые несут службу предо Мной, и у Давуда не будет больше потомков, чтобы править на его престоле.

22 Я сделаю потомков Давуда, Моего раба, и левитов, которые несут предо Мной служение, бесчисленными, как звёзды на небе, и неисчислимыми, как песок на морском берегу.

23 Вечный обратился к Иеремии:

24 – Разве ты не обратил внимания, как эти люди говорят: «Вечный отверг оба царства, которые Он избрал» – и до того презирают Мой народ, что даже народом его больше не считают?

25 Так говорит Вечный: – Как верно то, что Я заключил союз с днём и ночью и дал уставы для небес и земли,

26 так верно и то, что Я не отвергну потомков Якуба и Моего раба Давуда и буду избирать из его потомков правителя над потомками Ибрахима, Исхака и Якуба. Я восстановлю и помилую их.

2 Thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 the maker6213 thereof, the LORD3068 that formed3335 it, to establish3559 it; the LORD3068 is his name;8034

3 Call7121 to me, and I will answer6030 you, and show5046 you great1419 and mighty1219 things, which you know3045 not.

4 For thus3541 said559 the LORD,3068 the God430 of Israel,3478 concerning5921 the houses1004 of this2063 city,5892 and concerning5921 the houses1004 of the kings4428 of Judah,3063 which are thrown5422 down5422 by the mounts,5550 and by the sword;2719

5 They come935 to fight3898 with the Chaldeans,3778 but it is to fill4390 them with the dead6297 bodies6297 of men,120 whom834 I have slain5221 in my anger639 and in my fury,2534 and for all3605 whose834 wickedness7451 I have hid5641 my face6440 from this2063 city.5892

6 Behold,2005 I will bring4608 it health724 and cure,4832 and I will cure7495 them, and will reveal1540 to them the abundance6283 of peace7965 and truth.571

7 And I will cause the captivity7622 of Judah3063 and the captivity7622 of Israel3478 to return,7725 and will build1129 them, as at the first.7223

8 And I will cleanse2891 them from all3605 their iniquity,5771 whereby834 they have sinned2398 against me; and I will pardon5545 all3605 their iniquities,5771 whereby834 they have sinned,2398 and whereby834 they have transgressed6586 against me.

9 And it shall be to me a name8034 of joy,8342 a praise8416 and an honor8597 before all3605 the nations1471 of the earth,776 which834 shall hear8085 all3605 the good2896 that I do6213 to them: and they shall fear6342 and tremble7264 for all3605 the goodness2896 and for all3605 the prosperity7965 that I procure6213 to it.

10 Thus3541 said559 the LORD;3068 Again5750 there shall be heard8085 in this2088 place,4725 which834 you say559 shall be desolate2717 without369 man120 and without369 beast,929 even in the cities5892 of Judah,3063 and in the streets2351 of Jerusalem,3389 that are desolate,8074 without369 man,120 and without369 inhabitant,3427 and without369 beast,929

11 The voice6963 of joy,8342 and the voice6963 of gladness,8057 the voice6963 of the bridegroom,2860 and the voice6963 of the bride,3618 the voice6963 of them that shall say,559 Praise3034 the LORD3068 of hosts:6635 for the LORD3068 is good;2896 for his mercy2617 endures for ever:5769 and of them that shall bring935 the sacrifice of praise8426 into the house1004 of the LORD.3068 For I will cause to return7725 the captivity7622 of the land,776 as at the first,7223 said559 the LORD.3068

12 Thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 of hosts;6635 Again5750 in this2088 place,4725 which is desolate2717 without369 5704 man120 and without369 5704 beast,929 and in all3605 the cities5892 thereof, shall be an habitation5116 of shepherds7462 causing their flocks6629 to lie7257 down.7901

13 In the cities5892 of the mountains,2022 in the cities5892 of the vale,8219 and in the cities5892 of the south,5045 and in the land776 of Benjamin,1144 and in the places about5439 Jerusalem,3389 and in the cities5892 of Judah,3063 shall the flocks6629 pass5674 again5750 under5921 the hands3027 of him that tells4487 them, said559 the LORD.3068

14 Behold,2009 the days3117 come,935 said5002 the LORD,3068 that I will perform6965 that good2896 thing1697 which834 I have promised1696 to the house1004 of Israel3478 and to the house1004 of Judah.3063

15 In those1992 days,3117 and at that time,6256 will I cause the Branch6780 of righteousness6666 to grow6779 up to David;1732 and he shall execute6213 judgment4941 and righteousness6666 in the land.776

16 In those1992 days3117 shall Judah3063 be saved,3467 and Jerusalem3389 shall dwell7931 safely:983 and this2088 is the name with which834 she shall be called,7121 The LORD3068 our righteousness.6664

17 For thus3541 said559 the LORD;3068 David1732 shall never3808 want3772 a man376 to sit3427 on the throne3678 of the house1004 of Israel;3478

18 Neither3808 shall the priests3548 the Levites3881 want3772 a man376 before6440 me to offer5927 burnt5930 offerings, and to kindle6999 meat offerings,4503 and to do6213 sacrifice2077 continually.3605 3117

19 And the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 to Jeremiah,3414 saying,559

20 Thus3541 said559 the LORD;3068 If518 you can break6565 my covenant1285 of the day,3117 and my covenant1285 of the night,3915 and that there should not be day3119 and night3915 in their season;6256

21 Then may also1571 my covenant1285 be broken6565 with David1732 my servant,5650 that he should not have1961 a son1121 to reign4427 on his throne;3678 and with the Levites3881 the priests,3548 my ministers.8334

22 As the host6635 of heaven8064 cannot3808 be numbered,5608 neither3808 the sand2344 of the sea3220 measured:4058 so3651 will I multiply7235 the seed2233 of David1732 my servant,5650 and the Levites3881 that minister8334 to me.

23 Moreover the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 to Jeremiah,3414 saying,559

24 Consider7200 you not what4100 this2088 people5971 have spoken,1696 saying,559 The two8147 families4940 which834 the LORD3068 has chosen,977 he has even cast3988 them off? thus they have despised5006 my people,5971 that they should be no more5750 a nation1471 before6440 them.

25 Thus3541 said559 the LORD;3068 If518 my covenant1285 be not with day3119 and night,3915 and if I have not appointed7760 the ordinances2708 of heaven8064 and earth;776

26 Then1571 will I cast3988 away the seed2233 of Jacob 3290and David1732 my servant,5650 so that I will not take3947 any of his seed2233 to be rulers4910 over413 the seed2233 of Abraham,85 Isaac,3446 and Jacob:3290 for I will cause their captivity7622 to return,7725 and have mercy7355 on them.

4 For thus3541 said559 the LORD,3068 the God430 of Israel,3478 concerning5921 the houses1004 of this2063 city,5892 and concerning5921 the houses1004 of the kings4428 of Judah,3063 which are thrown5422 down5422 by the mounts,5550 and by the sword;2719

5 – Исраильтяне будут сражаться с вавилонянами, но их дома наполнятся трупами тех, кого Я сражу в Своём гневе и ярости, потому что Я скрыл Своё лицо от этого города из-за всех его злодеяний.

5 They come935 to fight3898 with the Chaldeans,3778 but it is to fill4390 them with the dead6297 bodies6297 of men,120 whom834 I have slain5221 in my anger639 and in my fury,2534 and for all3605 whose834 wickedness7451 I have hid5641 my face6440 from this2063 city.5892

6 Но Я дам ему и здоровье, и исцеление; Я исцелю Мой народ и открою ему изобилие мира и безопасности.

6 Behold,2005 I will bring4608 it health724 and cure,4832 and I will cure7495 them, and will reveal1540 to them the abundance6283 of peace7965 and truth.571

7 Я восстановлю Иудею и Исраил и отстрою их такими же, как прежде.

8 Я очищу их от всех грехов, которые они совершили передо Мной, и прощу все их беззакония, когда они восставали против Меня.

11 звуки веселья и радости, голоса жениха и невесты, голоса несущих благодарственные жертвы в дом Вечного и говорящих:
«Славьте Вечного, Повелителя Сил, потому что Он благ; милость Его – навеки».Ведь Я верну в эту землю благополучие, как прежде, – говорит Вечный.

11 The voice6963 of joy,8342 and the voice6963 of gladness,8057 the voice6963 of the bridegroom,2860 and the voice6963 of the bride,3618 the voice6963 of them that shall say,559 Praise3034 the LORD3068 of hosts:6635 for the LORD3068 is good;2896 for his mercy2617 endures for ever:5769 and of them that shall bring935 the sacrifice of praise8426 into the house1004 of the LORD.3068 For I will cause to return7725 the captivity7622 of the land,776 as at the first,7223 said559 the LORD.3068

13 В городах нагорий, западных предгорий и Негева, в землях Вениамина, в окрестностях Иерусалима и в городах Иудеи стада будут вновь проходить под рукою того, кто их пересчитывает, – говорит Вечный.

16 В те дни Иудея будет спасена и Иерусалим будет жить в безопасности.Вот имя, которым его назовут: «Вечный – наша праведность».

16 In those1992 days3117 shall Judah3063 be saved,3467 and Jerusalem3389 shall dwell7931 safely:983 and this2088 is the name with which834 she shall be called,7121 The LORD3068 our righteousness.6664

17 Ведь так говорит Вечный: – Давуд не останется без потомка, сидящего на престоле Исраила,

18 а священнослужители-левиты не останутся без стоящего всегда передо Мной, чтобы совершать всесожжения, сжигать хлебные приношения и приносить жертвы.

18 Neither3808 shall the priests3548 the Levites3881 want3772 a man376 before6440 me to offer5927 burnt5930 offerings, and to kindle6999 meat offerings,4503 and to do6213 sacrifice2077 continually.3605 3117

19 Было к Иеремии слово Вечного:

19 And the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 to Jeremiah,3414 saying,559

20 – Так говорит Вечный: Если кто-нибудь сможет расторгнуть Мой союз с днём и Мой союз с ночью, чтобы день и ночь больше не наступали в положенное им время,

20 Thus3541 said559 the LORD;3068 If518 you can break6565 my covenant1285 of the day,3117 and my covenant1285 of the night,3915 and that there should not be day3119 and night3915 in their season;6256

21 то расторгнется и Моё соглашение с Давудом, Моим рабом, и со священнослужителями-левитами, которые несут службу предо Мной, и у Давуда не будет больше потомков, чтобы править на его престоле.

21 Then may also1571 my covenant1285 be broken6565 with David1732 my servant,5650 that he should not have1961 a son1121 to reign4427 on his throne;3678 and with the Levites3881 the priests,3548 my ministers.8334

22 Я сделаю потомков Давуда, Моего раба, и левитов, которые несут предо Мной служение, бесчисленными, как звёзды на небе, и неисчислимыми, как песок на морском берегу.

23 Вечный обратился к Иеремии:

24 – Разве ты не обратил внимания, как эти люди говорят: «Вечный отверг оба царства, которые Он избрал» – и до того презирают Мой народ, что даже народом его больше не считают?
