Глава 4

1 Царь Соломон царствовал над всем Израилем.

2 Вот люди, что служили при его дворе: Азарья, сын Цадока, — священник;

3 Элихореф и Ахия, сыновья Шиши, — главные писцы; Иосафат, сын Ахилуда, — летописец;

4 Беная, сын Ехояды, командовал войском; Цадок и Эвьятар были священниками;

5 Азарья, сын Натана, был над наместниками областей; Завуд, сын Натана, — священник и друг царя;

6 Ахишар управлял дворцом; Адонирам, сын Авды, наблюдал за подневольными работниками.

7 У Соломона было двенадцать наместников по всему Израилю, и они поочередно снабжали продовольствием царя и его дворец: каждый наместник снабжал царя по месяцу в год.

8 Вот их имена: Бен-Гур в Ефремовом нагорье;

9 Бен-Декер в Макаце, Шаалвиме, Бет-Шемеше и Элон-Бет-Ханане;

10 Бен-Хесед в Арубботе, он же в Сохо и над всем округом Хефер;

11 Бен-Авинадав, взявший в жены дочь Соломона Тафат, в Нафат-Доре;

12 Баана, сын Ахилуда, в Танахе и Мегиддо и в Бет-Шеане, что возле Цортана ниже Изреэля — от Бет-Шеана до Авель-Мехолы и по другой стороне до Йокмоама;

13 Бен-Гевер в Рамоте Гиладском, он же управлял Селениями Яира, сына Манассии, что в Гиладе, и округом Аргов, что в Башане, — шестьюдесятью большими городами, обнесенными стенами с медными запорами;

14 Ахинадав, сын Иддо, в Маханаиме;

15 Ахимаац, взявший в жены дочь Соломона Басмат, в наделе Неффалима;

16 Баана, сын Хушая, в наделе Асира и в Беалоте;

17 Иосафат, сын Паруаха, в наделе Иссахара;

18 Шими, сын Элы, в наделе Вениамина;

19 Гевер, сын Ури, в земле Гиладской, в земле Сихона, царя аморейского, и Ога, царя Башанского. Он был единственным наместником в этих землях.

20 Иудеи и израильтяне, многочисленные, как песок на морском берегу, ели, пили и веселились.

21 Соломон правил всеми царствами от реки Евфрата до земли филистимской и до самых пределов египетских. Они платили подати и служили Соломону во все дни его жизни.

22 Ко двору Соломона ежедневно доставляли тридцать коров отборной муки и шестьдесят коров обычной,

23 десять откормленных телят, двадцать телят с пастбищ и сто овец, не считая оленей, серн, косуль и откормленных птиц,

24 ведь он властвовал над всеми царствами по западную сторону реки Евфрата, от Типсаха и до Газы, и жил в мире со всеми окрестными царствами.

25 В дни правления Соломона иудеи и израильтяне жили спокойно, каждый под своей лозой и смоковницей, от Дана до Беэр-Шевы.

26 У Соломона были стойла на сорок тысяч лошадей для колесниц и на двенадцать тысяч для верховых лошадей.

27 Наместники поочередно снабжали продовольствием царя Соломона и всех гостей на царской трапезе, и не было ни в чем недостатка.

28 Они также доставляли, куда требовалось, свою долю ячменя и сена для конницы и прочих лошадей.

29 Бог даровал Соломону мудрость и великое разумение, а широта его познаний была сравнима с обилием песка на морском берегу.

30 Мудростью Соломон превосходил всех сынов Востока и всех египтян.

31 Был он мудрее всех людей своего времени: Этана из Эзраха, Хемана, Калколя и Дарды, сыновей Махола, и славилось его имя среди всех окрестных народов.

32 Он изрек три тысячи притч и сложил тысячу пять песен.

33 Он мог рассказать о разных деревьях — от кедра, что на Ливане, и до иссопа, прорастающего сквозь стены; делился размышлениями о зверях и птицах, о ползучих тварях и рыбах.

34 И послушать мудрые речи Соломона приходили люди из всех народов, от всех царей земных, прознавших о его мудрости.

1 Kings

Chapter 4

1 So Solomon was king over all Israel.

2 And these were the princes whom he had: Azariah the son of Zadok the priest;

3 Elihoreph and Ahiah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, the recorder.

4 And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the army; and Zadok and Abiathar were priests;

5 And Azariah the son of Nathan was over the governors; and Zabur, the son of Nathan, the priest, was the king's friend;

6 And Abinshar was over the household; and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the tribute.

7 And Solomon had twelve governors over all Israel, who provided food for the king and his household and for the army; each month of the year it fell on one of them to supply provisions.

8 And these are their names: the son of Hur, who ruled in mount Ephraim;

9 The son of Dekar, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and Beth-shemesh, and Elon-beth-hanan;

10 The son of Hesed, in Raboth to him belonged Socoth, and all the land of Hepher;

11 The son of Abinadab, in Naphatdor, who had Taphath the daughter of Solomon to wife;

12 Baana the son of Ahilud, who ruled in Taanach and Megiddo, and in all Beth-shean, which is beside Zartan, below Jezreel, from Beth-shean to Abel-meholah, as far as the other side of Nekemaam;

13 The son of Geber, in Ramoth-gilead; to him belonged the towns of Jair the son of Manasseh; to him also belonged the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, sixty great cities with wails and bronze bars;

14 Ahinadab the son of Iddo, in Mahanaim;

15 Ahimaaz was in Naphtali; he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon to wife;

16 Baana the son of Hushai was in Asher and in Aloth;

17 Jehoshaphat the son of Paroh, in Issachar;

18 Shimei the son of Elah, in Benjamin;

19 Geber the son of Uri was in the land of Gilead, the country of Sihon king of the Amorites and of Og king of Bashan; and the governors ruled in the land.

20 Judah and Israel were as many in multitude as the sand which is by the sea; they ate and drank and made merry.

21 And Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the river which is in the land of the Philistines as far as the border of Egypt; and his subjects brought presents and served Solomon all the days of his life.

22 And Solomon's provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour and sixty measures of meal,

23 Ten fat oxen and twenty oxen out of the pastures and a hundred sheep, besides harts and gazelles and roe, bucks and fatted fowls.

24 For he had dominion over all the region on this side of the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side of the river; and he had peace on all sides round about him.

25 And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, all the days of Solomon.

26 And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots and twelve thousand horsemen.

27 And those governors supplied provisions for King Solomon and for all who came to King Solomon's table, every man in his month; they lacked nothing.

28 Barley also and straw for the horses and the dromedaries they brought to the place where the officers were, every man as it was his due.

29 And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart,

30 So that Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the people of the east and all the wisdom of the Egyptians.

31 For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Easterner, and Heman, and Calcol and Darda, the sons of Mahol; and his fame was in all the nations round about.

32 And he spoke three thousand proverbs; and his songs were a thousand and five.

33 And he spoke of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even to the, hyssop that springs out of the wall; he spoke also of beasts and of fowl and of creeping things and of fishes.

34 And there came men from all nations to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth; and he received presents from all kings of the earth who had heard of his wisdom.

1 Царь Соломон царствовал над всем Израилем.

1 So Solomon was king over all Israel.

5 And Azariah the son of Nathan was over the governors; and Zabur, the son of Nathan, the priest, was the king's friend;

6 Ахишар управлял дворцом; Адонирам, сын Авды, наблюдал за подневольными работниками.

6 And Abinshar was over the household; and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the tribute.

7 У Соломона было двенадцать наместников по всему Израилю, и они поочередно снабжали продовольствием царя и его дворец: каждый наместник снабжал царя по месяцу в год.

7 And Solomon had twelve governors over all Israel, who provided food for the king and his household and for the army; each month of the year it fell on one of them to supply provisions.

8 Вот их имена: Бен-Гур в Ефремовом нагорье;

8 And these are their names: the son of Hur, who ruled in mount Ephraim;

9 Бен-Декер в Макаце, Шаалвиме, Бет-Шемеше и Элон-Бет-Ханане;

9 The son of Dekar, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and Beth-shemesh, and Elon-beth-hanan;

10 The son of Hesed, in Raboth to him belonged Socoth, and all the land of Hepher;

11 The son of Abinadab, in Naphatdor, who had Taphath the daughter of Solomon to wife;

12 Baana the son of Ahilud, who ruled in Taanach and Megiddo, and in all Beth-shean, which is beside Zartan, below Jezreel, from Beth-shean to Abel-meholah, as far as the other side of Nekemaam;

13 Бен-Гевер в Рамоте Гиладском, он же управлял Селениями Яира, сына Манассии, что в Гиладе, и округом Аргов, что в Башане, — шестьюдесятью большими городами, обнесенными стенами с медными запорами;

13 The son of Geber, in Ramoth-gilead; to him belonged the towns of Jair the son of Manasseh; to him also belonged the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, sixty great cities with wails and bronze bars;

14 Ахинадав, сын Иддо, в Маханаиме;

14 Ahinadab the son of Iddo, in Mahanaim;

15 Ахимаац, взявший в жены дочь Соломона Басмат, в наделе Неффалима;

15 Ahimaaz was in Naphtali; he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon to wife;

16 Баана, сын Хушая, в наделе Асира и в Беалоте;

16 Baana the son of Hushai was in Asher and in Aloth;

17 Иосафат, сын Паруаха, в наделе Иссахара;

17 Jehoshaphat the son of Paroh, in Issachar;

18 Шими, сын Элы, в наделе Вениамина;

18 Shimei the son of Elah, in Benjamin;

19 Гевер, сын Ури, в земле Гиладской, в земле Сихона, царя аморейского, и Ога, царя Башанского. Он был единственным наместником в этих землях.

19 Geber the son of Uri was in the land of Gilead, the country of Sihon king of the Amorites and of Og king of Bashan; and the governors ruled in the land.

20 Иудеи и израильтяне, многочисленные, как песок на морском берегу, ели, пили и веселились.

20 Judah and Israel were as many in multitude as the sand which is by the sea; they ate and drank and made merry.

21 Соломон правил всеми царствами от реки Евфрата до земли филистимской и до самых пределов египетских. Они платили подати и служили Соломону во все дни его жизни.

21 And Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the river which is in the land of the Philistines as far as the border of Egypt; and his subjects brought presents and served Solomon all the days of his life.

22 Ко двору Соломона ежедневно доставляли тридцать коров отборной муки и шестьдесят коров обычной,

22 And Solomon's provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour and sixty measures of meal,

23 десять откормленных телят, двадцать телят с пастбищ и сто овец, не считая оленей, серн, косуль и откормленных птиц,

23 Ten fat oxen and twenty oxen out of the pastures and a hundred sheep, besides harts and gazelles and roe, bucks and fatted fowls.

24 ведь он властвовал над всеми царствами по западную сторону реки Евфрата, от Типсаха и до Газы, и жил в мире со всеми окрестными царствами.

24 For he had dominion over all the region on this side of the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side of the river; and he had peace on all sides round about him.

25 В дни правления Соломона иудеи и израильтяне жили спокойно, каждый под своей лозой и смоковницей, от Дана до Беэр-Шевы.

25 And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, all the days of Solomon.

26 У Соломона были стойла на сорок тысяч лошадей для колесниц и на двенадцать тысяч для верховых лошадей.

26 And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots and twelve thousand horsemen.

27 Наместники поочередно снабжали продовольствием царя Соломона и всех гостей на царской трапезе, и не было ни в чем недостатка.

27 And those governors supplied provisions for King Solomon and for all who came to King Solomon's table, every man in his month; they lacked nothing.

28 Они также доставляли, куда требовалось, свою долю ячменя и сена для конницы и прочих лошадей.

28 Barley also and straw for the horses and the dromedaries they brought to the place where the officers were, every man as it was his due.

29 Бог даровал Соломону мудрость и великое разумение, а широта его познаний была сравнима с обилием песка на морском берегу.

29 And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart,

30 Мудростью Соломон превосходил всех сынов Востока и всех египтян.

30 So that Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the people of the east and all the wisdom of the Egyptians.
