Глава 30

1 Пока Давид со своими людьми три дня добирался до Циклага, амалекитяне напали на Негев и на Циклаг. Они разорили Циклаг и сожгли.

2 Женщин, что были в селении, и всех, кто там оставался от мала до велика, они взяли в плен, но никого не убили, а увели с собой.

3 Давид со своими людьми подошел к селению и увидел, что всё сожжено огнем, а их жен, сыновей и дочерей увели в плен.

4 Давид и все, кто с ним был, громко зарыдали и плакали, пока не иссякли у них слезы и силы.

5 Попали в плен и две жены Давида: Ахиноам из Изреэля и Авигаиль, бывшая жена Навала с Кармила.

6 Очень тяжело было Давиду. Народ так горевал о своих сыновьях и дочерях, что едва не побил его камнями. Но Давид черпал силы в ГОСПОДЕ, Боге своем.

7 Давид велел священнику Авьятару, сыну Ахимелеха, принести ему эфод. И когда Авьятар принес его,

8 Давид вопросил ГОСПОДА: «Идти ли мне в погоню за грабителями, разобью ли я их?» «Иди, — был ответ, — ты их нагонишь и вызволишь своих!»

9 Давид выступил с шестью сотнями своих людей. Когда они дошли до потока Бесор, то часть людей осталась там.

10 Давид продолжал погоню с четырьмя сотнями человек, а двести утомились настолько, что не могли перейти потока Бесор и остались там.

11 В поле они наткнулись на египтянина и привели его к Давиду. Его накормили хлебом и напоили водой,

12 дали ему немного сушеных смокв и две горсти изюма; и когда он поел, то пришел в себя — ведь три дня и три ночи он ничего не ел и даже воды не пил.

13 Давид спросил его: «Чей ты и откуда?» Тот ответил: «Я египетский юноша, раб одного амалекитянина. Бросил меня мой владыка, когда три дня назад я заболел.

14 Мы ходили в набег на южный край керетитов, и на селения в Иудее, и на южный край Халева, и Циклаг мы сожгли огнем».

15 Давид спросил его: «Проведешь ли ты меня к этим грабителям?» Тот ответил: «Поклянись мне Богом, что не убьешь меня и не выдашь владыке, и я проведу тебя к этим грабителям».

16 Он привел Давида прямо к разбойникам-амалекитянам, а те пировали и веселились, разбредясь по округе со своей богатой добычей, которую взяли в земле филистимлян и в Иудее.

17 Давид разил их с утренней зари и до вечера следующего дня, и никто из них не спасся, кроме четырехсот слуг, что сели на верблюдов и бежали.

18 Давид отбил всех, кого взяли в плен амалекитяне, и спас двух своих жен.

19 Не пропал у них никто от мала до велика — ни сыновья, ни дочери, и ничего не пропало из добычи, которую захватили у них, — всё возвратил Давид.

20 Давид захватил также все стада и отары амалекитян, их погнали перед собственным скотом, назвав их добычей Давида.

21 Когда Давид вернулся к тем двум сотням людей, что устали идти за ним и остались при потоке Бесор, те вышли навстречу Давиду и воинам, что были с ним. Подойдя к ним, Давид поприветствовал их.

22 Но были среди тех, кто ходил с Давидом в поход, и злые, вздорные люди, и они стали говорить: «Раз они не ходили с нами в поход, не станем делиться с ними захваченной добычей: пусть каждый берет свою жену и детей и убирается прочь!»

23 Но Давид ответил им: «Не должно так поступать, братья! Вот что даровал нам ГОСПОДЬ: Он хранил нас и предал в наши руки грабителей, что напали на нас.

24 Да и кто станет слушать вас в этом деле? Какова доля ходившим на битву, такова и оставшимся при обозе: равные всем доли!»

25 С того дня и впредь сделал он это обычаем в Израиле.

26 Давид вернулся в Циклаг и отправил часть добычи старейшинам иудейским, своим друзьям, с такими словами: «Вот вам дар от добычи, отбитой у врагов ГОСПОДНИХ!» —

27 тем, кто в Бет-Эле, и кто в Рамот-Негеве, и в Яттире,

28 и в Ароэре, и в Сифмоте, и в Эштемоа,

29 и в Рахале, и в селениях ерахмеэльских, и в селениях кенейских,

30 и в Хорме, и в Бор-Ашане, и в Атахе,

31 и в Хевроне — во всех тех местах, где бывал Давид со своими людьми.

1 Samuel

Chapter 30

1 AND when David and his men were come to Zinklag on the third day, the Amalekites had raided the Negeb and Zinklag, and burned them with fire;

2 And had taken captive all the people who were in them, both the small and the great; and they put to death the men of war; and they took the spoil and went on their way.

3 And David and his men came to the city, and. behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives and their sons and their daughters were taken captives.

4 Then David and the people who were with him lifted up their voices and wept until they had no more strength to weep.

5 And David's two wives were taken captive, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess and Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite.

6 And David was greatly distressed; for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters; but David strengthened himself in the LORD his God.

7 And David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimeleck's son, Bring me here the ephod. And Abiathar brought the ephod to David.

8 And David inquired of the LORD, saying. Shall I pursue these raiders? Shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue; for you shall surely overtake them soon and deliver the captives.

9 So David went, he and the six hundred men who were with him, and they came to the brook of Besor, and David left two hundred men there.

10 And David continued the pursuit with four hundred men; then the two hundred men who were left behind rose up and kept guard, that the raiders might not cross the brook of Besor.

11 And they found an Egyptian in a field, and brought him to David, and gave him bread, and he did eat; and they gave him water to drink;

12 And they gave him two cakes of figs, and when he had eaten, his spirit revived; for he had not eaten bread nor drunk water for three days and three nights.

13 And David said to him, To whom do you belong? And where do you come from? And the young man said, I am an Egyptian, a servant of an Amalekite; and my master left me because I have been sick for three days,

14 After we returned from raiding the Negeb of Judah and the Negeb of Caleb and from Zinklag, and we burned the towns with fire.

15 And David said to him, Will you bring me down to this band of robbers? And he said to him. Swear to me by the LORD that you will neither kill me nor deliver me into the hand of my master, and I will show you this band of robbers.

16 And David swore to him, and when he had brought him down, behold, they were scattered upon the ground, eating and drinking and rejoicing because of all the great spoil that they had taken from the land of the Philistines and from the land of Judah.

17 And David smote them from the morning until evening from the rear; and there escaped not a man of them, except four hundred men who rode upon camels and fled.

18 And David recovered all that the Amalekites had taken captive, and he rescued his two wives that day.

19 And they lost nothing, for David recovered all.

20 And David took all the flocks and the herds, and an abundance of other things in addition; and they said, This is David's spoil.

21 And David came to the two hundred men who were left behind to guard the baggage, whom he had placed there to guard the road to Besor; and they went out to meet David and to meet the people who were with him; and when David and the people drew near, they exchanged greetings.

22 Then answered some of David's men who were evil and wicked, and said, Because they did not go with us, we will not give them any portion of the spoil which we have recovered, save that every man may take his wife and his children.

23 But David said, You shall not do thus, my brethren, with that which the LORD has given us, he who has preserved us and delivered into our hands the raiders that came against us.

24 For who will hearken to you in this matter? For as his portion is who goes down to battle, so shall his portion be who tarries by the baggage: they shall divide alike.

25 And it was so from that day forward that David made it a statute and an ordinance for Israel even to this day.

26 And when David came to Zinklag, he sent some of the spoil to the elders of Judah and to their neighbors, saying, Here is a blessing for you from the spoil of the enemies of the LORD;

27 Moreover, he sent of the spoil to those who were in Beth-el and to those who were in Ramoth of the Negeb and to those who were in Ai

28 And to those who were in Adoer and those who were in Siphmoth and to those who were in Eshtemoa

29 And to those who were in Rachal and to those who were in the cities of the Jerahmeelites and to those who were in the cities of the Kenites

30 And to those who were in Hirmah and to those who were in Bar-beshan and to those who were in Tanach

31 And to those who were in Hebron and to all the places in which David and his men had traveled.

1 AND when David and his men were come to Zinklag on the third day, the Amalekites had raided the Negeb and Zinklag, and burned them with fire;

2 Женщин, что были в селении, и всех, кто там оставался от мала до велика, они взяли в плен, но никого не убили, а увели с собой.

2 And had taken captive all the people who were in them, both the small and the great; and they put to death the men of war; and they took the spoil and went on their way.

3 Давид со своими людьми подошел к селению и увидел, что всё сожжено огнем, а их жен, сыновей и дочерей увели в плен.

3 And David and his men came to the city, and. behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives and their sons and their daughters were taken captives.

4 Давид и все, кто с ним был, громко зарыдали и плакали, пока не иссякли у них слезы и силы.

4 Then David and the people who were with him lifted up their voices and wept until they had no more strength to weep.

5 Попали в плен и две жены Давида: Ахиноам из Изреэля и Авигаиль, бывшая жена Навала с Кармила.

5 And David's two wives were taken captive, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess and Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite.

6 Очень тяжело было Давиду. Народ так горевал о своих сыновьях и дочерях, что едва не побил его камнями. Но Давид черпал силы в ГОСПОДЕ, Боге своем.

6 And David was greatly distressed; for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters; but David strengthened himself in the LORD his God.

7 Давид велел священнику Авьятару, сыну Ахимелеха, принести ему эфод. И когда Авьятар принес его,

7 And David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimeleck's son, Bring me here the ephod. And Abiathar brought the ephod to David.

8 Давид вопросил ГОСПОДА: «Идти ли мне в погоню за грабителями, разобью ли я их?» «Иди, — был ответ, — ты их нагонишь и вызволишь своих!»

8 And David inquired of the LORD, saying. Shall I pursue these raiders? Shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue; for you shall surely overtake them soon and deliver the captives.

9 Давид выступил с шестью сотнями своих людей. Когда они дошли до потока Бесор, то часть людей осталась там.

9 So David went, he and the six hundred men who were with him, and they came to the brook of Besor, and David left two hundred men there.

10 Давид продолжал погоню с четырьмя сотнями человек, а двести утомились настолько, что не могли перейти потока Бесор и остались там.

10 And David continued the pursuit with four hundred men; then the two hundred men who were left behind rose up and kept guard, that the raiders might not cross the brook of Besor.

11 В поле они наткнулись на египтянина и привели его к Давиду. Его накормили хлебом и напоили водой,

11 And they found an Egyptian in a field, and brought him to David, and gave him bread, and he did eat; and they gave him water to drink;

12 дали ему немного сушеных смокв и две горсти изюма; и когда он поел, то пришел в себя — ведь три дня и три ночи он ничего не ел и даже воды не пил.

12 And they gave him two cakes of figs, and when he had eaten, his spirit revived; for he had not eaten bread nor drunk water for three days and three nights.

13 Давид спросил его: «Чей ты и откуда?» Тот ответил: «Я египетский юноша, раб одного амалекитянина. Бросил меня мой владыка, когда три дня назад я заболел.

13 And David said to him, To whom do you belong? And where do you come from? And the young man said, I am an Egyptian, a servant of an Amalekite; and my master left me because I have been sick for three days,

14 Мы ходили в набег на южный край керетитов, и на селения в Иудее, и на южный край Халева, и Циклаг мы сожгли огнем».

14 After we returned from raiding the Negeb of Judah and the Negeb of Caleb and from Zinklag, and we burned the towns with fire.

15 Давид спросил его: «Проведешь ли ты меня к этим грабителям?» Тот ответил: «Поклянись мне Богом, что не убьешь меня и не выдашь владыке, и я проведу тебя к этим грабителям».

15 And David said to him, Will you bring me down to this band of robbers? And he said to him. Swear to me by the LORD that you will neither kill me nor deliver me into the hand of my master, and I will show you this band of robbers.

16 Он привел Давида прямо к разбойникам-амалекитянам, а те пировали и веселились, разбредясь по округе со своей богатой добычей, которую взяли в земле филистимлян и в Иудее.

16 And David swore to him, and when he had brought him down, behold, they were scattered upon the ground, eating and drinking and rejoicing because of all the great spoil that they had taken from the land of the Philistines and from the land of Judah.

17 Давид разил их с утренней зари и до вечера следующего дня, и никто из них не спасся, кроме четырехсот слуг, что сели на верблюдов и бежали.

17 And David smote them from the morning until evening from the rear; and there escaped not a man of them, except four hundred men who rode upon camels and fled.

18 Давид отбил всех, кого взяли в плен амалекитяне, и спас двух своих жен.

18 And David recovered all that the Amalekites had taken captive, and he rescued his two wives that day.

19 Не пропал у них никто от мала до велика — ни сыновья, ни дочери, и ничего не пропало из добычи, которую захватили у них, — всё возвратил Давид.

19 And they lost nothing, for David recovered all.

20 Давид захватил также все стада и отары амалекитян, их погнали перед собственным скотом, назвав их добычей Давида.

20 And David took all the flocks and the herds, and an abundance of other things in addition; and they said, This is David's spoil.

21 Когда Давид вернулся к тем двум сотням людей, что устали идти за ним и остались при потоке Бесор, те вышли навстречу Давиду и воинам, что были с ним. Подойдя к ним, Давид поприветствовал их.

21 And David came to the two hundred men who were left behind to guard the baggage, whom he had placed there to guard the road to Besor; and they went out to meet David and to meet the people who were with him; and when David and the people drew near, they exchanged greetings.

22 Но были среди тех, кто ходил с Давидом в поход, и злые, вздорные люди, и они стали говорить: «Раз они не ходили с нами в поход, не станем делиться с ними захваченной добычей: пусть каждый берет свою жену и детей и убирается прочь!»

22 Then answered some of David's men who were evil and wicked, and said, Because they did not go with us, we will not give them any portion of the spoil which we have recovered, save that every man may take his wife and his children.

23 Но Давид ответил им: «Не должно так поступать, братья! Вот что даровал нам ГОСПОДЬ: Он хранил нас и предал в наши руки грабителей, что напали на нас.

23 But David said, You shall not do thus, my brethren, with that which the LORD has given us, he who has preserved us and delivered into our hands the raiders that came against us.

24 Да и кто станет слушать вас в этом деле? Какова доля ходившим на битву, такова и оставшимся при обозе: равные всем доли!»

24 For who will hearken to you in this matter? For as his portion is who goes down to battle, so shall his portion be who tarries by the baggage: they shall divide alike.

25 С того дня и впредь сделал он это обычаем в Израиле.

25 And it was so from that day forward that David made it a statute and an ordinance for Israel even to this day.

26 Давид вернулся в Циклаг и отправил часть добычи старейшинам иудейским, своим друзьям, с такими словами: «Вот вам дар от добычи, отбитой у врагов ГОСПОДНИХ!» —
