Глава 12

1 Вот имена тех, кто пришел к Давиду в Циклаг, когда он был притесняем Саулом, сыном Киша. Это были храбрые воины, из тех, что сражались вместе с Давидом.

2 Они метали камни из пращей; другим их оружием были луки, из которых они могли стрелять как правой, так и левой рукой. Все они были соплеменниками Саула из колена Вениамина.

3 Глава их — Ахиэзер, второй после него — Иоас, оба сыновья Шемаи из Гивы; Езиэль и Пелет, сыновья Азмавета; Бераха и Иегу из Анатота;

4 Ишмая из Гивона, могучий воин из числа тридцати и начальствующий над тридцатью; Иеремия, Яхазиэль, Йоханан, Йозавад из Гедеры;

5 Элузай, Еримот, Беалья, Шемарья, Шефатья-харупитянин;

6 кореиты Элкана, Ишшия, Азарэль, Йоэзер и Йошовам;

7 Йоэла и Зевадья, сыновья Ерохама из Гедора.

8 И из колена Гада пришли к Давиду в его крепость в пустыне могучие воины, ловко владеющие щитами и копьями, их лик был подобен львиному лику, быстрые они были, как серны на горах.

9 Главой их был Эзер, второй — Авдий, третий — Элиав,

10 четвертый — Мишманна, пятый — Иеремия,

11 шестой — Аттай, седьмой — Элиэль,

12 восьмой — Йоханан, девятый — Эльзавад,

13 десятый — Иеремия, одиннадцатый — Махбаннай.

14 Все они были военачальниками в своем племени: младший командовал сотней, старший — тысячей.

15 Именно они перешли Иордан в первый месяц, когда он выходит из берегов, и обратили в бегство всех жителей долин к востоку и западу.

16 К Давиду в крепость пришли также люди из колен Вениамина и Иуды.

17 Выйдя им навстречу, Давид сказал им: «Если вы с миром пришли, чтобы помочь мне, то мы будем с вами единодушны. А если для того чтобы вероломно выдать меня врагам невзирая на то, что руки мои не совершали насилия, то пусть Бог отцов наших Сам увидит это и осудит вас».

18 И Дух объял Амасая, главу тридцати, и он сказал: «Твои мы, Давид! Мы едины с тобою, сын Иессея! Мир, мир тебе и мир помощникам твоим! Потому что Бог твой помогает тебе!» Давид принял их к себе и поставил во главе отрядов.

19 Когда Давид отправился с филистимлянами на войну против Саула, к нему присоединились некоторые люди из колена Манассии. Однако Давид и его воины не помогли филистимлянам, потому что их правители на своем совете решили отослать его прочь, говоря: «Если он перейдет на сторону своего господина Саула, не сносить нам головы!»

20 Когда Давид возвратился в Циклаг, к нему присоединились воины из колена Манассии: Аднах, Йозавад, Едиаэль, Михаил, Йозавад, Элигу, Циллетай — тысяченачальники из колена Манассии.

21 Они помогали Давиду обороняться от набегов разбойничьих племен, потому что все они были могучими воинами и военачальниками.

22 Каждый день всё больше людей переходило на сторону Давида, чтобы помочь ему, и воинство его стало так велико, как воинство Божье.

23 Вот численность вооруженных отрядов, что пришли к Давиду в Хеврон, чтобы передать ему царство Саула, по повелению из уст ГОСПОДА.

24 Из колена Иуды вооруженных щитами и копьями: шесть тысяч восемьсот годных для воинской службы.

25 Из колена Симеона: семь тысяч сто могучих воинов.

26 Из колена Левия: четыре тысячи шестьсот;

27 Ехояда, глава рода Аарона, и с ним три тысячи семьсот;

28 Цадок, доблестный юноша, и двадцать два военачальника из рода его отца.

29 Из колена Вениамина, соплеменников Саула: три тысячи, из которых большинство до того дня продолжало хранить верность дому Саула.

30 Из колена Ефрема: двадцать тысяч восемьсот могучих воинов, людей прославленных в своих родах.

31 Из половины колена Манассии: восемнадцать тысяч, каждый из которых был призван по имени, чтобы воцарить Давида.

32 Из колена Иссахара: двести предводителей и все их соплеменники, которые им повиновались, люди разумные, знающие, что и когда надлежит делать Израилю.

33 Из колена Завулона: готовых к бою, способных сражаться всяким оружием пятьдесят тысяч воинов единодушно выступили на защиту Давида.

34 Из колена Неффалима: одна тысяча вождей и с ними тридцать семь тысяч воинов, вооруженных щитами и копьями.

35 Из колена Дана: двадцать восемь тысяч шестьсот воинов, снаряженных для войны.

36 Из колена Асира: сорок тысяч воинов, готовых и снаряженных для войны.

37 Из колен Рувима, Гада и половины племени Манассии, живших на восточном берегу Иордана: сто двадцать тысяч воинов со всеми видами оружия.

38 Все эти воины, полные решимости, в боевом строю прибыли в Хеврон, чтобы сделать Давида царем над Израилем (да и остальные израильтяне были единодушны в том, чтобы воцарить Давида).

39 Три дня они провели там с Давидом, ели и пили, потому что братья их приготовили для них всё необходимое.

40 Жители близлежащих владений — из земель Иссахара, Завулона и Неффалима — подвозили им съестные припасы на ослах, верблюдах, мулах и быках: муку, смоковные и изюмные лепешки, вино, оливковое масло, много коров и овец, потому что ликовал Израиль.

1 Chronicles

Chapter 12

1 NOW these are all the mighty men of David, who stood by him in the battle, and they came with David to the city of Zinklag, when he fled from Saul the son of Kish; and they were among the mighty men who stood before David. If David had wished, they would have slain Saul the son of Kish, for they were mighty men of war, but David would not permit them to slay Saul.

2 They held the bows with their left hand and the swords with their right, and their bows were filled with arrows, but David was unwilling to slay Saul, because he was the chief, the prince of the tribe of Benjamin.

3 These are the names of the mighty men who were with David: Ahiezer and his son Joash; Joel of Macsite; Shemaiah the Gibeathite; Pelet and Berachiah, the sons of Arboth; and Jehu the Anatothite;

4 And Shemaiah the Gibeonite, who was captain over thirty men, and fought equal to all of them; and Jeremiah, Nahaziel, Zabor, Azar,

5 Gadai, Jermoth, Bealiah, Shemariah, Shephatiah, Habar,

6 Elkanah, Jesiah, Azariel, Shebnah, Asaph,

7 Joah and Zechariah, the sons of Jeroham of Gadar.

8 And those of the tribe of the Gadites separated themselves to David to go out with him to the stronghold in the wilderness; mighty men and men of stature and fit for battle, who could handle sword and shield, whose faces were like the faces of lions, and who were swift for war upon the mountains:

9 Ezra the chief of the mighty men, Obadiah the second, Eliab the third,

10 Ashur the fourth, Jeremiah the fifth,

11 Athar the sixth, Eliel the seventh,

12 Johanan the eighth, Elzabad the ninth,

13 Jeremiah the tenth, Shepatiah the eleventh.

14 These were of the descendants of Gad, commanders of the army; one of them was captain over a hundred, and the others were over a thousand.

15 These are they who crossed the Jordan in the month of Nisan, when it had overflowed all its banks; and they put to flight all the army that was encamped in the valley, both toward the east and toward the west. And these are the numbers of the commanders of the army who gathered together and came to David to Hebron to give him the kingdom of Saul, so that the word of Samuel the prophet might be fulfilled, who spoke by the command of the LORD.

16 And there came some of the children of Benjamin and Judah to the camp to David.

17 And David went out to meet them and blessed them, and said to them, If you have come peaceably to me to help us, then may the LORD grant you a double portion of that which you have in your heart; but if you have come to betray me and to deliver me to my adversaries, seeing that I have not sinned against you and there is no wrong in my hands, the God of my fathers knows it, and he will rebuke whoever is wrong among us.

18 Then the spirit of might came upon Amasa, the son of Jatar, chief of the thirty, and he answered and said to David, Come on, David, come on, O son of Jesse! I am also with you, peace be to you, be not afraid, and peace will be given to you from your helpers; for your God is your helper in every hour. Then David received them, and made them captains of the army.

19 And some of the men of the tribe of Manasseh went over to David when he went to war with the Philistines against Saul to battle; but they would not go with Saul to war to help him, because they hated him, for they had gone and made a secret treaty with the princes of the Philistines, saying, Let us go first and fall on Saul our master;

20 And as he goes to Zinklag, we will besiege him and capture him alive. These are their names: Ada, Zabor, Jediael, Michael, Elihu, and Jozabad, commanders of thousands of the house of Manasseh.

21 And they helped David when he went against the band of raiders; for they were all mighty men of valor and commanders over all the army, and they did as they pleased through him.

22 For every day they went into the presence of David to eat food before him, for he loved them exceedingly.

23 And of the children of Judah who bore sword and spear were six thousand and eight hundred mighty men of war.

24 And of the children of Simeon, mighty men of valor for the war, eight thousand and seven hundred.

25 And of the children of Levi, four thousand and six hundred.

26 And Jehoiada was the leader of the family of the Aaronites, and with him were three thousand and seven hundred;

27 And Zadok, a young man mighty of valour, and of his father's house and his brothers, twenty-two officers.

28 And of the children of Benjamin, the kindred of Saul, three thousand; for until the day in which Saul was slain, they guarded the house of Saul.

29 And of the children of Ephraim, twenty thousand and eight hundred, mighty men of valour, famous throughout the house of their fathers.

30 And of the half tribe of Manasseh, eighteen thousand, who were renowned, and they came first to make David king.

31 And of the children of Issachar, men who had understanding in their times, who did good and upright deeds before the LORD; their chiefs were two hundred; and all their brethren did whatever they were commanded.

32 And of the tribe of Zebulun, such as went forth to battle, expert in war, with all weapons of war, fifty thousand, who were ready to fight against those whose loyalty was doubtful concerning the kingdom of David.

33 And of the children of Naphtali, a thousand officers; and with them were thirty-seven thousand men with shield and spear.

34 And of the Danites, expert in war, twenty-eight thousand and six hundred.

35 And of Asher, such as went forth to battle, valiant men of war, forty thousand.

36 And of the other side of the Jordan, of the Reubenites and of the Gadites and of the half tribe of Manasseh, armed with all manner of weapons of war, one hundred and twenty thousand.

37 All these mighty men of war went to battle with a perfect heart, and came to Hebron to make David king over all Israel; and also all the rest of the chiefs of Israel came with a sincere heart to make David king over Israel.

38 And they were there with David for three days, eating and drinking; for their brethren had prepared for them.

39 Now these were the names of the tribes who supplied them with food, who were near them:

40 The tribes of Issachar and Zebulun and Naphtali brought bread on asses and on camels and on mules, also flour and raisins and baskets of grapes and wine and oil and sheep and oxen in abundance; for there was great joy in Israel.

15 These are they who crossed the Jordan in the month of Nisan, when it had overflowed all its banks; and they put to flight all the army that was encamped in the valley, both toward the east and toward the west. 16 And there came some of the children of Benjamin and Judah to the camp to David.

17 Выйдя им навстречу, Давид сказал им: «Если вы с миром пришли, чтобы помочь мне, то мы будем с вами единодушны. А если для того чтобы вероломно выдать меня врагам невзирая на то, что руки мои не совершали насилия, то пусть Бог отцов наших Сам увидит это и осудит вас».

18 И Дух объял Амасая, главу тридцати, и он сказал: «Твои мы, Давид! Мы едины с тобою, сын Иессея! Мир, мир тебе и мир помощникам твоим! Потому что Бог твой помогает тебе!» Давид принял их к себе и поставил во главе отрядов.

18 Then the spirit of might came upon Amasa, the son of Jatar, chief of the thirty, and he answered and said to David, Come on, David, come on, O son of Jesse! I am also with you, peace be to you, be not afraid, and peace will be given to you from your helpers; for your God is your helper in every hour. Then David received them, and made them captains of the army.

19 Когда Давид отправился с филистимлянами на войну против Саула, к нему присоединились некоторые люди из колена Манассии. 21 Они помогали Давиду обороняться от набегов разбойничьих племен, потому что все они были могучими воинами и военачальниками.

23 And of the children of Judah who bore sword and spear were six thousand and eight hundred mighty men of war.

24 Из колена Иуды вооруженных щитами и копьями: шесть тысяч восемьсот годных для воинской службы.

24 And of the children of Simeon, mighty men of valor for the war, eight thousand and seven hundred.

25 Из колена Симеона: семь тысяч сто могучих воинов.

25 And of the children of Levi, four thousand and six hundred.

26 Из колена Левия: четыре тысячи шестьсот;

26 And Jehoiada was the leader of the family of the Aaronites, and with him were three thousand and seven hundred;

27 Ехояда, глава рода Аарона, и с ним три тысячи семьсот;

27 And Zadok, a young man mighty of valour, and of his father's house and his brothers, twenty-two officers.

31 Из половины колена Манассии: восемнадцать тысяч, каждый из которых был призван по имени, чтобы воцарить Давида.

34 Из колена Неффалима: одна тысяча вождей и с ними тридцать семь тысяч воинов, вооруженных щитами и копьями.

37 All these mighty men of war went to battle with a perfect heart, and came to Hebron to make David king over all Israel; and also all the rest of the chiefs of Israel came with a sincere heart to make David king over Israel.

38 Все эти воины, полные решимости, в боевом строю прибыли в Хеврон, чтобы сделать Давида царем над Израилем (да и остальные израильтяне были единодушны в том, чтобы воцарить Давида).

38 And they were there with David for three days, eating and drinking; for their brethren had prepared for them.

39 Три дня они провели там с Давидом, ели и пили, потому что братья их приготовили для них всё необходимое.

39 Now these were the names of the tribes who supplied them with food, who were near them:
