Первое послание апостола Павла христианам в Коринфе

Глава 11

1 Подражайте мне, как я подражаю Христу.

2 Я же хвалю вас за то, что вы помните всё, чему учил я и что делал, и держитесь наставлений Господних, как я передал их вам.

3 Хочу, однако, чтобы вы ясно понимали, что глава всякому мужу — Христос, глава жене — муж, а глава Христу — Бог.

4 Всякий муж, когда он молится или возвещает Божью весть с покрытой головой, навлекает позор на свою голову,

5 а жена навлекает позор на свою голову, когда молится или возвещает весть Божью с головой непокрытой; это то же самое, как если бы она была обритой.

6 Если женщина не покрывает свою голову, пусть и стрижется, если же ей стыдно быть остриженной или обритой, пусть покрывается.

7 Мужчина не должен покрывать свою голову, потому что он — образ Божий и слава Его, а женщина — слава мужчины.

8 Ведь не от женщины изначально мужчина, а она — от него.

9 И не мужчина создан для женщины, а женщина — для мужчины,

10 потому у женщины должен быть на голове знак особой власти над нею, чтобы не огорчать неприличием ангелов.

11 Впрочем, по-христиански, ни жена без мужа, ни муж без жены тоже;

12 ибо как женщина произошла от мужчины, так теперь каждый мужчина рождается от женщины; и всё — от Бога.

13 Судите сами, прилично ли женщине молиться Богу с непокрытой головой?

14 Не сама ли природа учит вас, что длинные волосы унижают мужчину,

15 а когда волосы растит женщина — для неё это честь? Ведь [ей] даны волосы как покрывало.

16 Тому же, кто всё еще склонен спорить, следует знать: что ни у нас, ни вообще в церквах Божьих такого обычая, который он отстаивает, нет.

17 Давая вам эти указания, скажу о том, чего не одобряю: ваши собрания скорее во вред вам, чем на пользу.

18 Начать с того, что на ваших церковных собраниях, как я слышал, есть раздоры, и я отчасти этому верю.

19 (Ведь у вас расхождения во взглядах и должны быть — для того хотя бы, чтобы выявились среди вас истинные христиане).

20 Вы, стало быть, и когда собираетесь вместе, в вечере Господней, по сути, не участвуете;

21 ведь, когда вы едите, каждый торопится съесть свою собственную пищу, так что один остается голодным, в то время как другой уже пьян.

22 Неужели у вас нет своих домов, чтобы есть и пить там? Или вы пренебрегаете церковью Божией и готовы унижать нуждающихся? Что скажу вам? Можно ли похвалить вас? Нет, за это не похвалю!

23 Ибо от Самого Господа я принял и, в свой черед, передал вам, что Господь Иисус в ночь, когда Его предали, взял хлеб

24 и, возблагодарив, разломил его, и сказал: «Это тело Мое, за вас отдаваемое. В память обо Мне делайте это».

25 После пасхального ужина взял Он также чашу и сказал: «Эта чаша — новый завет Моею Кровью утвержденный. Всякий раз, когда будете пить из нее, в память обо Мне делайте это».

26 Посему, когда вы едите этот хлеб и пьете из этой чаши, всякий раз вы смерть Господа возвещаете в ожидании Его пришествия.

27 А потому, кто ест этот хлеб или пьет из чаши Господней недостойно, тот грешит против Тела и Крови Господа.

28 Пусть же каждый испытывает себя и только потом ест этот хлеб и пьет из этой чаши.

29 Ибо кто ест и пьет, не помышляя о Теле Господнем, тот ест и пьет себе в осуждение.

30 Оттого-то среди вас так много немощных и больных, и немало умерло.

31 Если бы мы сами судили себя, то не были бы судимы.

32 Будучи же судимы Господом, мы, как дети, подвергаемся наказанию, чтобы не быть нам потом осужденными вместе с миром.

33 Итак, братья мои, придя на вечерю, друг друга ждите.

34 Если же кто голоден, пусть ест дома, чтобы в общем собрании не навлекать на себя осуждения. Остальное улажу, когда приду.

Chapter 11

1 TAKE example by me, even as I also fol low Christ.

2 Now I praise you, my brethren, that you remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances as I delivered them to you.

3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the wife is her husband; and the head of Christ is God.

4 Every man who prays or prophesies, having his head covered, dishonors his head.

5 And every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered, dishonors her head: for she is equal to her whose head is shaven.

6 For if a woman does not cover her head, let her also cut off her hair; but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her cover her head. *

7 For a man indeed ought not cover his head, because he is the image and glory of God, but the woman is the glory of the man.

8 For the man was not created from the woman; but the woman was created from the man.

9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

10 For this reason the woman ought to be modest and cover her head, as a mark of respect to the angels.

11 Nevertheless, in our LORD, there is no preference between man and woman, neither between woman and man.

12 For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.

13 Judge for yourselves, Is it comely for a woman to pray to God with uncovered head?

14 Does not even nature itself teach you, that if a man have long hair, it is a disgrace to him?

15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

16 But if any man dispute these things, we have no precedent, neither has the church of God.

17 Now I give you these commands, not to praise you, for you have not made progress but have become worse.

18 First of all, when you gather in the church, I hear that there are divisions among you; and I partly believe it.

19 For controversies are bound to be among you, that those who are approved may be made manifest among you.

20 When you gather together therefore, you do not eat and drink as is appropriate on the day of our LORD.

21 But some men eat their supper before others: and so it happens that one is hungry and another is drunken.

22 Why? Have you not houses to eat and drink in? or do you not respect the church of God, and want to shame those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you? No, for this, I cannot praise you.#

23 For I myself received from our LORD that which I also delivered to you, That our LORD Jesus on that very night in which he was betrayed took bread:

24 And when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, Take, eat; this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

25 Likewise after supper, he gave also the cup, and said, This cup is the new testament in my blood: do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.

26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you commemorate our LORD's death until he come.

27 Therefore whosoever shall eat of the LORD's bread, and drink of his cup unworthily, shall be guilty of the blood and body of the LORD.

28 For this reason, let a man examine himself, and so eat of this bread, and drink of this cup.

29 For he who eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks to his condemnation; for he does not discern the LORD's body.

30 This is the reason many are sick and ill among you, and many are dying.

31 For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged.

32 But when we are judged by our LORD, we are simply chastened, so that we may not be condemned with the world.

33 Hereafter, my brethren, when you come together to eat, wait for one another.

34 And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; so that you may not come together unto condemnation. As to the rest of the things I will instruct you when I come.

2 Now I praise you, my brethren, that you remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances as I delivered them to you.

3 Хочу, однако, чтобы вы ясно понимали, что глава всякому мужу — Христос, глава жене — муж, а глава Христу — Бог.

3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the wife is her husband; and the head of Christ is God.

4 Всякий муж, когда он молится или возвещает Божью весть с покрытой головой, навлекает позор на свою голову,

4 Every man who prays or prophesies, having his head covered, dishonors his head.

5 а жена навлекает позор на свою голову, когда молится или возвещает весть Божью с головой непокрытой; это то же самое, как если бы она была обритой.

5 And every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered, dishonors her head: for she is equal to her whose head is shaven.

6 Если женщина не покрывает свою голову, пусть и стрижется, если же ей стыдно быть остриженной или обритой, пусть покрывается.

6 For if a woman does not cover her head, let her also cut off her hair; but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her cover her head. *

7 Мужчина не должен покрывать свою голову, потому что он — образ Божий и слава Его, а женщина — слава мужчины.

7 For a man indeed ought not cover his head, because he is the image and glory of God, but the woman is the glory of the man.

8 Ведь не от женщины изначально мужчина, а она — от него.

8 For the man was not created from the woman; but the woman was created from the man.

9 И не мужчина создан для женщины, а женщина — для мужчины,

9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

10 потому у женщины должен быть на голове знак особой власти над нею, чтобы не огорчать неприличием ангелов.

10 For this reason the woman ought to be modest and cover her head, as a mark of respect to the angels.

11 Впрочем, по-христиански, ни жена без мужа, ни муж без жены тоже;

11 Nevertheless, in our LORD, there is no preference between man and woman, neither between woman and man.

12 ибо как женщина произошла от мужчины, так теперь каждый мужчина рождается от женщины; и всё — от Бога.

12 For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.

13 Судите сами, прилично ли женщине молиться Богу с непокрытой головой?

13 Judge for yourselves, Is it comely for a woman to pray to God with uncovered head?

14 Не сама ли природа учит вас, что длинные волосы унижают мужчину,

14 Does not even nature itself teach you, that if a man have long hair, it is a disgrace to him?

15 а когда волосы растит женщина — для неё это честь? Ведь [ей] даны волосы как покрывало.

15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

16 Тому же, кто всё еще склонен спорить, следует знать: что ни у нас, ни вообще в церквах Божьих такого обычая, который он отстаивает, нет.

16 But if any man dispute these things, we have no precedent, neither has the church of God.

17 Давая вам эти указания, скажу о том, чего не одобряю: ваши собрания скорее во вред вам, чем на пользу.

17 Now I give you these commands, not to praise you, for you have not made progress but have become worse.

18 Начать с того, что на ваших церковных собраниях, как я слышал, есть раздоры, и я отчасти этому верю.

18 First of all, when you gather in the church, I hear that there are divisions among you; and I partly believe it.

19 (Ведь у вас расхождения во взглядах и должны быть — для того хотя бы, чтобы выявились среди вас истинные христиане).

20 Вы, стало быть, и когда собираетесь вместе, в вечере Господней, по сути, не участвуете;

20 When you gather together therefore, you do not eat and drink as is appropriate on the day of our LORD.

21 ведь, когда вы едите, каждый торопится съесть свою собственную пищу, так что один остается голодным, в то время как другой уже пьян.

21 But some men eat their supper before others: and so it happens that one is hungry and another is drunken.

22 Неужели у вас нет своих домов, чтобы есть и пить там? Или вы пренебрегаете церковью Божией и готовы унижать нуждающихся? Что скажу вам? Можно ли похвалить вас? Нет, за это не похвалю!

22 Why? Have you not houses to eat and drink in? or do you not respect the church of God, and want to shame those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you? No, for this, I cannot praise you.#

23 Ибо от Самого Господа я принял и, в свой черед, передал вам, что Господь Иисус в ночь, когда Его предали, взял хлеб

23 For I myself received from our LORD that which I also delivered to you, That our LORD Jesus on that very night in which he was betrayed took bread:

24 и, возблагодарив, разломил его, и сказал: «Это тело Мое, за вас отдаваемое. В память обо Мне делайте это».

24 And when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, Take, eat; this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

25 После пасхального ужина взял Он также чашу и сказал: «Эта чаша — новый завет Моею Кровью утвержденный. Всякий раз, когда будете пить из нее, в память обо Мне делайте это».

25 Likewise after supper, he gave also the cup, and said, This cup is the new testament in my blood: do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.

26 Посему, когда вы едите этот хлеб и пьете из этой чаши, всякий раз вы смерть Господа возвещаете в ожидании Его пришествия.

26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you commemorate our LORD's death until he come.

27 А потому, кто ест этот хлеб или пьет из чаши Господней недостойно, тот грешит против Тела и Крови Господа.

27 Therefore whosoever shall eat of the LORD's bread, and drink of his cup unworthily, shall be guilty of the blood and body of the LORD.

28 Пусть же каждый испытывает себя и только потом ест этот хлеб и пьет из этой чаши.

28 For this reason, let a man examine himself, and so eat of this bread, and drink of this cup.

29 Ибо кто ест и пьет, не помышляя о Теле Господнем, тот ест и пьет себе в осуждение.

29 For he who eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks to his condemnation; for he does not discern the LORD's body.

30 Оттого-то среди вас так много немощных и больных, и немало умерло.

30 This is the reason many are sick and ill among you, and many are dying.

31 Если бы мы сами судили себя, то не были бы судимы.

31 For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged.

32 Будучи же судимы Господом, мы, как дети, подвергаемся наказанию, чтобы не быть нам потом осужденными вместе с миром.

32 But when we are judged by our LORD, we are simply chastened, so that we may not be condemned with the world.

33 Итак, братья мои, придя на вечерю, друг друга ждите.

33 Hereafter, my brethren, when you come together to eat, wait for one another.

34 Если же кто голоден, пусть ест дома, чтобы в общем собрании не навлекать на себя осуждения. Остальное улажу, когда приду.

34 And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; so that you may not come together unto condemnation. As to the rest of the things I will instruct you when I come.
