Евангелие по Иоанну

Глава 16

1 Я сказал вам всё это, чтобы ничто не поколебало веры вашей.

2 Изгонят вас из синагог; и даже наступит такое время, когда всякий убивающий вас будет думать, что служит он этим Богу.

3 Люди будут делать это, потому что не знают ни Отца, ни Меня.

4 Вам же всё это сказал Я, чтобы, когда придет то время, вспомнили вы, что вам Я заранее об этом сказал. Не говорил вам этого с самого начала, потому что Сам Я был с вами тогда.

5 Но теперь ухожу Я к Тому, Кто Меня посылал, и ни один из вас не спрашивает Меня: „Куда Ты идешь?“

6 И оттого, что сказал Я вам это, не радостью, а печалью наполнились ваши сердца.

7 Но поверьте: для вас же лучше, что Я ухожу. Если Я не уйду, не придет Утешитель к вам, а если уйду, то пошлю Его к вам.

8 Когда же придет Утешитель, людям мира сего Он покажет, как неверно думают они о грехе, и о праведности, и о Божьем суде.

9 Покажет Он им, что их грех — нежелание верить в Меня;

10 что в том праведность явит себя, что Я к Отцу ухожу, и больше не увидите Меня;

11 даст людям знать Он и о суде, ибо князь мира сего уже осужден.

12 Еще о многом мог бы сказать Я вам, но сейчас это слишком тяжкое бремя для вас.

13 Когда же придет Дух Истины, поведет Он вас к полной истине. Ведь не от Себя будет говорить, а только то, что услышит, скажет, и о грядущем Он вам возвестит.

14 Он возвеличит Меня, возвещая вам о том, что возьмет у Меня.

15 Всё, что есть у Отца, Мое. Вот почему Я сказал: „Дух откроет вам то, что возьмет у Меня“.

16 Скоро уже не увидите вы Меня больше, но немного спустя увидите снова».

17 Иные из учеников Его стали спрашивать друг друга: «О чем это Он говорит: „Скоро уже не увидите вы Меня, но немного спустя увидите снова“? И что значит: „Иду к Отцу“?

18 А как понимать Его, [когда Он говорит]: „Скоро уже“? — недоумевали они. — Мы не знаем, что Он имеет в виду».

19 Иисус, зная, что они хотели спросить Его, Сам сказал им: «Вы спрашиваете один у другого, что Я имел в виду, когда сказал: „Скоро уже не увидите вы Меня, но немного спустя увидите снова“?

20 Поверьте Мне, плакать вы будете и рыдать, а мир станет радоваться; печали полны будете, но печаль ваша в радость обратится.

21 Женщина, когда приходит час ее, мучается при родах, но, родив ребенка, о муках уже не помнит от радости, что человек родился на земле.

22 Так и у вас: печальны вы теперь, но Я увижу вас снова, и радостью наполнятся сердца ваши, и этой радости вашей уже никто не отнимет у вас.

23 В тот день не будет у вас больше нужды спрашивать Меня о чем бы то ни было. Верьте, о чём бы вы ни попросили Отца во имя Мое, Он даст вам.

24 До сих пор вы ни о чем не просили во имя Мое. Просите же — и получите, и радость ваша будет полной.

25 Многое говорил Я вам прикровенно и иносказательно, но скоро наступит время, когда без всяких иносказаний, открыто скажу вам об Отце.

26 Когда придет тот день, вы сами будете просить во имя Мое, потому и не нужно Мне говорить, что Я буду просить Отца о вас;

27 Сам Отец любит вас, потому что вы полюбили Меня и поверили, что от Бога пришел Я.

28 Я оставил Отца и пришел в этот мир; теперь покидаю мир и возвращаюсь к Отцу».

29 Тогда ученики сказали: «Теперь Ты говоришь прямо и открыто, не прибегая к иносказаниям.

30 Теперь знаем мы, что всё ведомо Тебе; вопросы наши Ты знаешь прежде, чем задаем мы их Тебе. Поэтому и верим, что от Бога Ты пришел».

31 Иисус ответил им: «Теперь вы верите?

32 Но знайте, близок час, да он уже и наступил, когда вынуждены вы будете рассеяться: пойдет каждый своим путем, а Меня оставите одного. Но Я не один — со Мной Отец.

33 Сказал Я вам это, чтобы во Мне нашли вы мир для себя. Здесь, на земле, муки вас ждут. Но мужайтесь: Я мир победил».

Chapter 16

1 I HAVE spoken these things to you, so that you may not stumble.

2 For they will put you out of their synagogues; and the hour will come that whoever kills you, will think that he has offered an offering to God.

3 And these things they will do, because they have not known my Father, nor me.

4 I have spoken these things to you, that when their time does come, you may remember them, and that I told you. And these things I did not tell you before, because I was with you.

5 But now I am going to him who sent me, and yet no one of you asks me, Where are you going?

6 But because I told you these things, sorrow has come and filled your hearts.

7 But I tell you the truth, It is better for you that I should go away; for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I should go, I will send him to you.

8 And when he is come, he will rebuke the world concerning sin, concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment.

9 Concerning sin, because they do not believe in me;

10 Concerning righteousness, because I go to my Father, and you will not see me again;

11 Concerning judgment, because the leader of this world has been judged.

12 Again, I have many other things to tell you, but you cannot grasp them now.

13 But when the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak from himself, but what he hears that he will speak; and he will make known to you things which are to come in the future.

14 He will glorify me; because he will take of my own and show to you.

15 Everything that my Father has is mine; this is the reason why I told you that he will take of my own and show to you.

16 A little while, and you will not see me; and again a little while, and you will see me, because I am going to the Father.

17 Then his disciples said to one another, What is this that he said to us, A little while, and you will not see me; and again a little while, and you will see me; and, because I am going to my Father?

18 And they said, What is this that he said, A little while? We cannot understand what he talks about.

19 Jesus knew that they desired to ask him, and he said to them, Are you inquiring among yourselves concerning this, that I told you, A little while, and you will not see me; and again a little while, and you will see me?

20 Truly, truly, I say to you, that you will weep and wail, and yet the world will rejoice; and you will be sad, but your sadness will be changed into gladness.

21 When a woman is in travail, she is depressed, because her day has arrived; but when she has given birth to a son, she no longer remembers her troubles, because of the joy that a male child * is born into the world.

22 So you also are depressed; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no man will take away from you.

23 In that day you will not ask me anything. Truly, truly, I say to you, that whatever you ask my Father in my name, he will give it to you.

24 Hitherto you have asked nothing in my name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be full.

25 I have spoken these things in figures; but the time is coming, when I will not speak to you in figures, but will plainly explain to you concerning the Father.

26 In that day you will ask in my name; and I will not say to you, I will ask the Father concerning you.

27 For the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came forth from the Father.

28 I came forth from the Father, and I came into the world; again, I am leaving the world and I am going to the Father.

29 His disciples said to him, Behold, now you speak plainly, and do not utter a single figure.

30 Now we understand that you know everything; and you need no man to ask you; by this we believe that you have come forth from God.

31 Jesus said to them, Believe it.

32 For behold, the hour is coming, and it has now come, when you will be dispersed, every man to his own country, and you will leave me alone; and yet I am never alone, because the Father is with me.

33 These things I have said to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but have courage; I have conquered the world.

2 Изгонят вас из синагог; и даже наступит такое время, когда всякий убивающий вас будет думать, что служит он этим Богу.	2 For they will put you out of their synagogues; and the hour will come that whoever kills you, will think that he has offered an offering to God.
3 Люди будут делать это, потому что не знают ни Отца, ни Меня.	3 And these things they will do, because they have not known my Father, nor me.
4 Вам же всё это сказал Я, чтобы, когда придет то время, вспомнили вы, что вам Я заранее об этом сказал. Не говорил вам этого с самого начала, потому что Сам Я был с вами тогда.	4 I have spoken these things to you, that when their time does come, you may remember them, and that I told you. And these things I did not tell you before, because I was with you.
5 Но теперь ухожу Я к Тому, Кто Меня посылал, и ни один из вас не спрашивает Меня: „Куда Ты идешь?“	5 But now I am going to him who sent me, and yet no one of you asks me, Where are you going?
6 И оттого, что сказал Я вам это, не радостью, а печалью наполнились ваши сердца.	6 But because I told you these things, sorrow has come and filled your hearts.
7 Но поверьте: для вас же лучше, что Я ухожу. Если Я не уйду, не придет Утешитель к вам, а если уйду, то пошлю Его к вам.	7 But I tell you the truth, It is better for you that I should go away; for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I should go, I will send him to you.
8 Когда же придет Утешитель, людям мира сего Он покажет, как неверно думают они о грехе, и о праведности, и о Божьем суде.	8 And when he is come, he will rebuke the world concerning sin, concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment.
9 Покажет Он им, что их грех — нежелание верить в Меня;	9 Concerning sin, because they do not believe in me;
10 что в том праведность явит себя, что Я к Отцу ухожу, и больше не увидите Меня;	10 Concerning righteousness, because I go to my Father, and you will not see me again;
11 даст людям знать Он и о суде, ибо князь мира сего уже осужден.	11 Concerning judgment, because the leader of this world has been judged.
12 Еще о многом мог бы сказать Я вам, но сейчас это слишком тяжкое бремя для вас.	12 Again, I have many other things to tell you, but you cannot grasp them now.
13 Когда же придет Дух Истины, поведет Он вас к полной истине. Ведь не от Себя будет говорить, а только то, что услышит, скажет, и о грядущем Он вам возвестит.	13 But when the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak from himself, but what he hears that he will speak; and he will make known to you things which are to come in the future.
14 Он возвеличит Меня, возвещая вам о том, что возьмет у Меня.	14 He will glorify me; because he will take of my own and show to you.
15 Всё, что есть у Отца, Мое. Вот почему Я сказал: „Дух откроет вам то, что возьмет у Меня“.	15 Everything that my Father has is mine; this is the reason why I told you that he will take of my own and show to you.
16 Скоро уже не увидите вы Меня больше, но немного спустя увидите снова».	16 A little while, and you will not see me; and again a little while, and you will see me, because I am going to the Father.
17 Иные из учеников Его стали спрашивать друг друга: «О чем это Он говорит: „Скоро уже не увидите вы Меня, но немного спустя увидите снова“? И что значит: „Иду к Отцу“?	17 Then his disciples said to one another, What is this that he said to us, A little while, and you will not see me; and again a little while, and you will see me; and, because I am going to my Father?
18 А как понимать Его, [когда Он говорит]: „Скоро уже“? — недоумевали они. — Мы не знаем, что Он имеет в виду».	18 And they said, What is this that he said, A little while? We cannot understand what he talks about.
19 Иисус, зная, что они хотели спросить Его, Сам сказал им: «Вы спрашиваете один у другого, что Я имел в виду, когда сказал: „Скоро уже не увидите вы Меня, но немного спустя увидите снова“?	19 Jesus knew that they desired to ask him, and he said to them, Are you inquiring among yourselves concerning this, that I told you, A little while, and you will not see me; and again a little while, and you will see me?
20 Поверьте Мне, плакать вы будете и рыдать, а мир станет радоваться; печали полны будете, но печаль ваша в радость обратится.	20 Truly, truly, I say to you, that you will weep and wail, and yet the world will rejoice; and you will be sad, but your sadness will be changed into gladness.
21 Женщина, когда приходит час ее, мучается при родах, но, родив ребенка, о муках уже не помнит от радости, что человек родился на земле.	21 When a woman is in travail, she is depressed, because her day has arrived; but when she has given birth to a son, she no longer remembers her troubles, because of the joy that a male child * is born into the world.
22 Так и у вас: печальны вы теперь, но Я увижу вас снова, и радостью наполнятся сердца ваши, и этой радости вашей уже никто не отнимет у вас.	22 So you also are depressed; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no man will take away from you.
23 В тот день не будет у вас больше нужды спрашивать Меня о чем бы то ни было. Верьте, о чём бы вы ни попросили Отца во имя Мое, Он даст вам.	23 In that day you will not ask me anything. Truly, truly, I say to you, that whatever you ask my Father in my name, he will give it to you.
24 До сих пор вы ни о чем не просили во имя Мое. Просите же — и получите, и радость ваша будет полной.	24 Hitherto you have asked nothing in my name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be full.
25 Многое говорил Я вам прикровенно и иносказательно, но скоро наступит время, когда без всяких иносказаний, открыто скажу вам об Отце.	25 I have spoken these things in figures; but the time is coming, when I will not speak to you in figures, but will plainly explain to you concerning the Father.
26 Когда придет тот день, вы сами будете просить во имя Мое, потому и не нужно Мне говорить, что Я буду просить Отца о вас;	26 In that day you will ask in my name; and I will not say to you, I will ask the Father concerning you.
27 Сам Отец любит вас, потому что вы полюбили Меня и поверили, что от Бога пришел Я.	27 For the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came forth from the Father.
28 Я оставил Отца и пришел в этот мир; теперь покидаю мир и возвращаюсь к Отцу».	28 I came forth from the Father, and I came into the world; again, I am leaving the world and I am going to the Father.
29 Тогда ученики сказали: «Теперь Ты говоришь прямо и открыто, не прибегая к иносказаниям.	29 His disciples said to him, Behold, now you speak plainly, and do not utter a single figure.
30 Теперь знаем мы, что всё ведомо Тебе; вопросы наши Ты знаешь прежде, чем задаем мы их Тебе. Поэтому и верим, что от Бога Ты пришел».	30 Now we understand that you know everything; and you need no man to ask you; by this we believe that you have come forth from God.
31 Иисус ответил им: «Теперь вы верите?	31 Jesus said to them, Believe it.
32 Но знайте, близок час, да он уже и наступил, когда вынуждены вы будете рассеяться: пойдет каждый своим путем, а Меня оставите одного. Но Я не один — со Мной Отец.	32 For behold, the hour is coming, and it has now come, when you will be dispersed, every man to his own country, and you will leave me alone; and yet I am never alone, because the Father is with me.
33 Сказал Я вам это, чтобы во Мне нашли вы мир для себя. Здесь, на земле, муки вас ждут. Но мужайтесь: Я мир победил».	33 These things I have said to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but have courage; I have conquered the world.
