Глава 18

1 Священники-левиты, всё колено Левия, не будут иметь земельного надела или наследства в Израиле. Питаться они будут, получая свою долю от жертв, на огне возносимых ГОСПОДУ.

2 Такого, как у остальных братьев их, израильтян, наследства у левитов никогда не будет, ибо Сам ГОСПОДЬ — их наследство, как Он и обещал им.

3 И вот что обычно причитается священникам из того, что народ приносит в жертву: от быка или овцы — плечо, челюсти и желудок.

4 Первые плоды урожая своего — зерна ли, вина, масла оливкового — ты должен им отдавать, как и шерсть от первой стрижки овец.

5 Ведь ГОСПОДЬ, Бог твой, избрал только их из всех колен твоих, дабы они и их потомки всегда предстояли пред Господом и служили во имя Его.

6 Если левит, живущий в одном из ваших городов в Израиле, переселится по своему желанию на то место, какое ГОСПОДЬ для Себя изберет,

7 он вправе и там совершать служение во имя ГОСПОДА, Бога своего, как и его собратья, левиты, которые предстоят пред ГОСПОДОМ и служат Ему.

8 И сей левит-переселенец должен быть обеспечен пищей наравне со всеми служителями, даже если и будут у него какие-то средства от продажи своей семейной собственности.

9 Когда войдете в страну, которую ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш, отдает вам, вы не должны перенимать у народов, живущих там, их мерзкие обычаи.

10 Пусть же никто из вас не посмеет принести в жертву сына своего или дочь, предав их огню. А также не должно быть среди вас ни прорицателя, ни колдуна, ни гадателя или чародея,

11 ни заклинателя, ни тех, кто вопрошает духов, или знахаря, или того, кто вызывает мертвых.

12 Ибо всякий, кто это делает, мерзок ГОСПОДУ, и именно за эти дела мерзкие и изгоняет ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш, эти народы с пути вашего.

13 Будьте всецело преданы ГОСПОДУ, Богу вашему.

14 Ибо народы, которые вы изгоните из их владений, слушали гадателей и прорицателей, а вам совсем не это предназначил ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш!

15 Он явит вам пророка, подобного мне. Из вас, израильтян, он будет. Его слушайте!

16 Ведь еще у Хорива вы просили ГОСПОДА, Бога вашего, когда собрались там все: „Избавь нас от того, чтобы слышали мы голос ГОСПОДА, Бога нашего, и видели этот великий огонь, иначе мы погибнем!“

17 И ГОСПОДЬ сказал мне: „Правильно они говорят.

18 Я пошлю им пророка, подобного тебе, Моисей, одного из братьев твоих, израильтян. Вложу в уста его слова Мои, и будет он говорить им всё, что Я повелю ему.

19 А кто откажется внимать словам пророка, говорящего от имени Моего, тот предо Мною ответит за это.

20 Но всякий пророк, дерзнувший в заносчивости своей возвещать от Моего имени то, чего Я никогда не поручал ему, или такой, который будет говорить от имени других богов, должен быть предан смерти“.

21 Вы можете задаться вопросом: „Как узнать нам, говорил ли это ГОСПОДЬ или нет?“

22 Вот что отвечу: „Если не сбудется, не подтвердится то, о чем скажет вам как бы от имени ГОСПОДА этот пророк, значит, не от ГОСПОДА его слова. В заносчивости своей говорил он их, и вам не нужно его бояться“.

Deuteronomy

Chapter 18

1 THE priests and the Levites, shall have neither portion nor inheritance among the children of Israel; but they shall eat sacrifices offered to the LORD, and his inheritance.

2 Therefore they shall have no inheritance among their brethren; the LORD is their inheritance, as he has said to them.

3 And this shall be the priest's due from the people: from those who offer a sacrifice, whether it be an ox or a lamb, they shall give to the priest the shoulder and the two cheeks and the maw.

4 The first fruits also of your grain, of your wine, and of your oil, and the first of the fleece of your sheep, you shall give him.

5 For the LORD your God has chosen him out of all your tribes, to stand to minister in the name of the LORD your God, him and his sons for ever.

6 And if a Levite come from any of the towns of your brethren out of all Israel, where he sojourned, and come with all the desire of his soul to the place which the LORD shall choose;

7 Then he shall minister in the name of the LORD his God, as do all his brethren the Levites, who stand there before the LORD.

8 They shall have equal portion to eat, besides that which comes of the sale of his patrimony.

9 When you come into the land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.

10 There shall not be found among you any one who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or who practices divination or black magic, or is an enchanter or a witch

11 Or a charmer or a consulter with familiar spirits or a sorcerer or a necromancer.

12 For whoever does these things is an abomination in the sight of the LORD your God; and because of these abominations the LORD your God is destroying them from before you.

13 You shall be innocent before the LORD your God.

14 For these nations which you are to possess hearken to men with familiar spirits and diviners; but as for you, the LORD your God has not allowed you to do so.

15 The LORD your God will raise up to you a prophet like me from the midst of you, of your brethren; to him you shall hearken.

16 Just as you asked of the LORD your God at Horeb on the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear any more the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.

17 And the LORD said to me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.

18 I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him.

19 Whosoever will not hearken to my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

20 But the prophet who shall presume to speak a word in my name which I have not commanded him to speak, or who shall speak in the name of other gods, that prophet shall be put to death.

21 And if you say in your heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?

22 When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, and the thing does not come to pass, nor follow; that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken, but the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.

1 THE priests and the Levites, shall have neither portion nor inheritance among the children of Israel; but they shall eat sacrifices offered to the LORD, and his inheritance.

2 Такого, как у остальных братьев их, израильтян, наследства у левитов никогда не будет, ибо Сам ГОСПОДЬ — их наследство, как Он и обещал им.

2 Therefore they shall have no inheritance among their brethren; the LORD is their inheritance, as he has said to them.

3 И вот что обычно причитается священникам из того, что народ приносит в жертву: от быка или овцы — плечо, челюсти и желудок.

3 And this shall be the priest's due from the people: from those who offer a sacrifice, whether it be an ox or a lamb, they shall give to the priest the shoulder and the two cheeks and the maw.

4 Первые плоды урожая своего — зерна ли, вина, масла оливкового — ты должен им отдавать, как и шерсть от первой стрижки овец.

4 The first fruits also of your grain, of your wine, and of your oil, and the first of the fleece of your sheep, you shall give him.

5 Ведь ГОСПОДЬ, Бог твой, избрал только их из всех колен твоих, дабы они и их потомки всегда предстояли пред Господом и служили во имя Его.

5 For the LORD your God has chosen him out of all your tribes, to stand to minister in the name of the LORD your God, him and his sons for ever.

6 Если левит, живущий в одном из ваших городов в Израиле, переселится по своему желанию на то место, какое ГОСПОДЬ для Себя изберет,

6 And if a Levite come from any of the towns of your brethren out of all Israel, where he sojourned, and come with all the desire of his soul to the place which the LORD shall choose;

7 он вправе и там совершать служение во имя ГОСПОДА, Бога своего, как и его собратья, левиты, которые предстоят пред ГОСПОДОМ и служат Ему.

7 Then he shall minister in the name of the LORD his God, as do all his brethren the Levites, who stand there before the LORD.

8 И сей левит-переселенец должен быть обеспечен пищей наравне со всеми служителями, даже если и будут у него какие-то средства от продажи своей семейной собственности.

8 They shall have equal portion to eat, besides that which comes of the sale of his patrimony.

9 Когда войдете в страну, которую ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш, отдает вам, вы не должны перенимать у народов, живущих там, их мерзкие обычаи.

9 When you come into the land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.

13 Будьте всецело преданы ГОСПОДУ, Богу вашему.

14 Ибо народы, которые вы изгоните из их владений, слушали гадателей и прорицателей, а вам совсем не это предназначил ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш!

14 For these nations which you are to possess hearken to men with familiar spirits and diviners; but as for you, the LORD your God has not allowed you to do so.

15 Он явит вам пророка, подобного мне. Из вас, израильтян, он будет. Его слушайте!

15 The LORD your God will raise up to you a prophet like me from the midst of you, of your brethren; to him you shall hearken.

16 Ведь еще у Хорива вы просили ГОСПОДА, Бога вашего, когда собрались там все: „Избавь нас от того, чтобы слышали мы голос ГОСПОДА, Бога нашего, и видели этот великий огонь, иначе мы погибнем!“

16 Just as you asked of the LORD your God at Horeb on the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear any more the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.

17 И ГОСПОДЬ сказал мне: „Правильно они говорят.

17 And the LORD said to me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.

18 Я пошлю им пророка, подобного тебе, Моисей, одного из братьев твоих, израильтян. Вложу в уста его слова Мои, и будет он говорить им всё, что Я повелю ему.

18 I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him.

19 А кто откажется внимать словам пророка, говорящего от имени Моего, тот предо Мною ответит за это.

19 Whosoever will not hearken to my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

20 Но всякий пророк, дерзнувший в заносчивости своей возвещать от Моего имени то, чего Я никогда не поручал ему, или такой, который будет говорить от имени других богов, должен быть предан смерти“.

20 But the prophet who shall presume to speak a word in my name which I have not commanded him to speak, or who shall speak in the name of other gods, that prophet shall be put to death.

21 Вы можете задаться вопросом: „Как узнать нам, говорил ли это ГОСПОДЬ или нет?“

21 And if you say in your heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?

22 Вот что отвечу: „Если не сбудется, не подтвердится то, о чем скажет вам как бы от имени ГОСПОДА этот пророк, значит, не от ГОСПОДА его слова. В заносчивости своей говорил он их, и вам не нужно его бояться“.

22 When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, and the thing does not come to pass, nor follow; that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken, but the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.
