1 And the Philistines6430 took3947 853 the ark727 of God,430 and brought935 it from Ebenezer4480 72 unto Ashdod.795

2 When the Philistines6430 took3947 853 the ark727 of God,430 they brought935 it into the house1004 of Dagon,1712 and set3322 it by681 Dagon.1712

2 И взяли3947 Филистимляне6430 ковчег727 Божий,430 и внесли935 его в храм1004 Дагона,1712 и поставили3322 его подле681 Дагона.1712
|

3 And when they of Ashdod795 arose early7925 on the morrow,4480 4283 behold,2009 Dagon1712 was fallen5307 upon his face6440 to the earth776 before6440 the ark727 of the LORD.3068 And they took3947 853 Dagon,1712 and set7725 him in his place4725 again.

3 И встали7925 Азотяне796 рано7925 на другой4283 день,4283 и вот, Дагон1712 лежит5307 лицем6440 своим к земле776 пред3942 ковчегом727 Господним.3068 И взяли3947 они Дагона1712 и опять7725 поставили7725 его на свое место.4725

4 And when they arose early7925 on the morrow4480 4283 morning,1242 behold,2009 Dagon1712 was fallen5307 upon his face6440 to the ground776 before6440 the ark727 of the LORD;3068 and the head7218 of Dagon1712 and both8147 the palms3709 of his hands3027 were cut off3772 upon413 the threshold;4670 only7535 the stump of Dagon1712 was left7604 to5921 him.

4 И встали7925 они поутру1242 на следующий4283 день,4283 и вот, Дагон1712 лежит5307 ниц6440 на земле776 пред3942 ковчегом727 Господним;3068 голова7218 Дагонова1712 и обе8147 руки3709 его лежали отсеченные,3772 каждая особо, на пороге,4670 осталось7604 только туловище Дагона.1712

5 Therefore5921 3651 neither3808 the priests3548 of Dagon,1712 nor any3605 that come935 into Dagon's1712 house,1004 tread1869 on5921 the threshold4670 of Dagon1712 in Ashdod795 unto5704 this2088 day.3117

5 Посему жрецы3548 Дагоновы1712 и все приходящие935 в капище1004 Дагона1712 в Азот795 не ступают1869 на порог4670 Дагонов1712 до сего дня.3117

6 But the hand3027 of the LORD3068 was heavy3513 upon413 them of Ashdod,795 and he destroyed8074 them, and smote5221 them with emerods,6076 even853 Ashdod795 and the coasts1366 thereof.

6 И отяготела3513 рука3027 Господня3068 над Азотянами,796 и Он поражал8074 их и наказал5221 их мучительными29146076 наростами,29146076 в Азоте795 и в окрестностях1366 его.

7 And when the men376 of Ashdod795 saw7200 that3588 it was so,3651 they said,559 The ark727 of the God430 of Israel3478 shall not3808 abide3427 with5973 us: for3588 his hand3027 is sore7185 upon5921 us, and upon5921 Dagon1712 our god.430

7 И увидели7200 это Азотяне582795 и сказали:559 да не останется3427 ковчег727 Бога430 Израилева3478 у нас, ибо тяжка7185 рука3027 Его и для нас и для Дагона,1712 бога430 нашего.

8 They sent7971 therefore and gathered622 853 all3605 the lords5633 of the Philistines6430 unto413 them, and said,559 What4100 shall we do6213 with the ark727 of the God430 of Israel?3478 And they answered,559 Let the ark727 of the God430 of Israel3478 be carried about5437 unto Gath.1661 And they carried5437 853 the ark727 of the God430 of Israel3478 about thither.

8 И послали,7971 и собрали622 к себе всех владетелей5633 Филистимских,6430 и сказали:559 что нам делать6213 с ковчегом727 Бога430 Израилева?3478 И сказали:559 пусть ковчег727 Бога430 Израилева3478 перейдет5437 в Геф.1661 И отправили5437 ковчег727 Бога430 Израилева3478 в Геф.

9 And it was1961 so, that, after310 they had carried it about,5437 853 the hand3027 of the LORD3068 was1961 against the city5892 with a very3966 great1419 destruction:4103 and he smote5221 853 the men376 of the city,5892 both small4480 6996 and great,1419 and they had emerods6076 in their secret parts.8368

9 После310 того, как отправили5437 его, была рука3027 Господа3068 на городе5892 — ужас4103 весьма3966 великий,1419 и поразил5221 Господь жителей582 города5892 от малого6996 до большого,1419 и показались8368 на них наросты.29146076

10 Therefore they sent7971 853 the ark727 of God430 to Ekron.6138 And it came to pass,1961 as the ark727 of God430 came935 to Ekron,6138 that the Ekronites6139 cried out,2199 saying,559 They have brought about5437 853 the ark727 of the God430 of Israel3478 to413 us, to slay4191 us and our people.5971

10 И отослали7971 они ковчег727 Божий430 в Аскалон;6138 и когда пришел935 ковчег727 Божий430 в Аскалон,6138 возопили2199 Аскалонитяне,6139 говоря:559 принесли5437 к нам ковчег727 Бога430 Израилева,3478 чтоб умертвить4191 нас и народ5971 наш.

11 So they sent7971 and gathered together622 853 all3605 the lords5633 of the Philistines,6430 and said,559 Send away7971 853 the ark727 of the God430 of Israel,3478 and let it go again7725 to his own place,4725 that it slay4191 us not,3808 and our people:5971 for3588 there was1961 a deadly4194 destruction4103 throughout all3605 the city;5892 the hand3027 of God430 was very3966 heavy3513 there.8033

11 И послали,7971 и собрали622 всех владетелей5633 Филистимских,6430 и сказали:559 отошлите7971 ковчег727 Бога430 Израилева;3478 пусть он возвратится7725 в свое место,4725 чтобы не умертвил4191 он нас и народа5971 нашего. Ибо смертельный4194 ужас4103 был во всем городе;5892 весьма3966 отяготела3513 рука3027 Божия430 на них.

12 And the men376 that834 died4191 not3808 were smitten5221 with the emerods:6076 and the cry7775 of the city5892 went up5927 to heaven.8064

12 И те,582 которые не умерли,4191 поражены5221 были наростами,29146076 так что вопль7775 города5892 восходил5927 до небес.8064
