2 Then he turned5437 853 his face6440 to413 the wall,7023 and prayed6419 unto413 the LORD,3068 saying,559

2 Er aber wandte5437 sein Antlitz6440 zur Wand7023 und betete6419 zum HErrn3068 und sprach559:

3 I beseech thee,577 O LORD,3068 remember2142 now4994 853 how834 I have walked1980 before6440 thee in truth571 and with a perfect8003 heart,3824 and have done6213 that which is good2896 in thy sight.5869 And Hezekiah2396 wept1058 sore.1065 1419

3 Ach577, HErr3068, gedenke2142 doch, daß ich1058 vor6440 dir5869 treulich571 gewandelt1980 habe und mit rechtschaffenem8003 Herzen3824 und habe getan6213, das dir wohlgefällt. Und Hiskia2396 weinete sehr1419.

4 And it came to pass,1961 before3808 Isaiah3470 was gone out3318 into the middle8484 court,2691 that the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 to413 him, saying,559

4 Da aber Jesaja3470 noch nicht zur Stadt8484 halb hinausgegangen3318 war, kam des HErrn3068 Wort1697 zu ihm und5892 sprach559:

5 Turn again,7725 and tell559 413 Hezekiah2396 the captain5057 of my people,5971 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD,3068 the God430 of David1732 thy father,1 I have heard8085 853 thy prayer,8605 I have seen7200 853 thy tears:1832 behold,2009 I will heal7495 thee: on the third7992 day3117 thou shalt go up5927 unto the house1004 of the LORD.3068

5 Kehre um7725 und sage559 Hiskia2396, dem Fürsten5057 meines Volks5971: So spricht der HErr3068, der GOtt430 deines Vaters1 David1732: Ich habe8085 dein Gebet8605 gehöret und deine Tränen1832 gesehen. Siehe, ich. will7200 dich gesund machen7495; am dritten7992 Tage3117 wirst du559 hinauf5927 in das Haus1004 des HErrn3068 gehen.

6 And I will add3254 unto5921 thy days3117 fifteen2568 6240 years;8141 and I will deliver5337 thee and this2063 city5892 out of the hand4480 3709 of the king4428 of Assyria;804 and I will defend1598 5921 this2063 city5892 for mine own sake,4616 and for my servant5650 David's1732 sake.4616

6 Und5650 will fünfzehn6240 Jahre8141 zu3254 deinem Leben3117 tun und dich und diese Stadt5892 erretten5337 von dem Könige4428 zu Assyrien804 und diese Stadt5892 beschirmen1598 um meinetwillen und um meines Knechts David1732 willen.

7 And Isaiah3470 said,559 Take3947 a lump1690 of figs.8384 And they took3947 and laid7760 it on5921 the boil,7822 and he recovered.2421

7 Und Jesaja3470 sprach559: Bringet her ein Stück Feigen8384! Und da sie die brachten, legten7760 sie sie auf3947 die Drüse7822; und er ward3947 gesund2421.

8 And Hezekiah2396 said559 unto413 Isaiah,3470 What4100 shall be the sign226 that3588 the LORD3068 will heal7495 me, and that I shall go up5927 into the house1004 of the LORD3068 the third7992 day?3117

8 Hiskia2396 aber sprach559 zu Jesaja3470: Welches ist das Zeichen226, daß mich der HErr3068 wird gesund machen7495, und ich in des HErrn3068 Haus1004 hinaufgehen5927 werde am dritten7992 Tage3117?

9 And Isaiah3470 said,559 This2088 sign226 shalt thou have of4480 854 the LORD,3068 that3588 the LORD3068 will do6213 853 the thing1697 that834 he hath spoken:1696 shall the shadow6738 go forward1980 ten6235 degrees,4609 or518 go back7725 ten6235 degrees?4609

9 Jesaja3470 sprach559: Das1697 Zeichen226 wirst du haben1980 vom HErrn3068, daß der HErr3068 tun6213 wird, was er geredet hat1696. Soll der Schatten6738 zehn6235 Stufen4609 fürder gehen7725, oder zehn6235 Stufen4609 zurückgehen?

10 And Hezekiah3169 answered,559 It is a light thing7043 for the shadow6738 to go down5186 ten6235 degrees:4609 nay,3808 but3588 let the shadow6738 return7725 backward322 ten6235 degrees.4609

10 Hiskia3169 sprach559: Es ist leicht7043, daß der Schatten6738 zehn6235 Stufen4609 niederwärts gehe; das will7725 ich nicht, sondern daß er zehn6235 Stufen4609 hinter322 sich5186 zurückgehe.

11 And Isaiah3470 the prophet5030 cried7121 unto413 the LORD:3068 and he brought7725 853 the shadow6738 ten6235 degrees4609 backward,322 by which834 it had gone down3381 in the dial4609 of Ahaz.271

11 Da rief7121 der Prophet5030 Jesaja3470 den HErrn3068 an; und der Schatten6738 ging3381 hinter sich7725 zurück322 zehn6235 Stufen4609 am4609 Zeiger Ahas271 die er war niederwärts gegangen.

12 At that1931 time6256 Berodach-baladan,1255 the son1121 of Baladan,1081 king4428 of Babylon,894 sent7971 letters5612 and a present4503 unto413 Hezekiah:2396 for3588 he had heard8085 that3588 Hezekiah2396 had been sick.2470

12 Zu8085 der Zeit6256 sandte7971 Brodach, der Sohn1121 Baledans, des Sohns Baledans, Königs4428 zu Babel894, Briefe5612 und Geschenke4503 zu Hiskia2396; denn er hatte gehöret, daß Hiskia2396 krank2470 war gewesen.

13 And Hezekiah2396 hearkened8085 unto5921 them, and showed7200 them853 all3605 the house1004 of his precious things,5238 853 the silver,3701 and the gold,2091 and the spices,1314 and the precious2896 ointment,8081 and all the house1004 of his armor,3627 and all3605 that834 was found4672 in his treasures:214 there was1961 nothing3808 1697 in his house,1004 nor in all3605 his dominion,4475 that834 Hezekiah2396 showed7200 them not.3808

13 Hiskia2396 aber war2896 fröhlich mit ihnen und zeigte7200 ihnen das8085 ganze Schatzhaus1004, Silber3701, Gold2091, Spezerei1314 und das1697 beste Öl8081 und die Harnischkammer und alles3627, was in seinen Schätzen214 vorhanden war4672. Es1004 war nichts in seinem Hause1004 und in seiner ganzen Herrschaft4475, das ihnen Hiskia2396 nicht7200 zeigete.

14 Then came935 Isaiah3470 the prophet5030 unto413 king4428 Hezekiah,2396 and said559 unto413 him, What4100 said559 these428 men?376 and from whence4480 370 came935 they unto413 thee? And Hezekiah2396 said,559 They are come935 from a far country,4480 776 7350 even from Babylon.4480 894

14 Da kam935 Jesaja3470, der Prophet5030, zu dem Könige4428 Hiskia2396 und sprach559 zu ihm: Was haben diese Leute582 gesagt559 und woher370 sind935 sie zu dir kommen? Hiskia2396 sprach559: Sie sind935 aus fernen7350 Landen776 zu mir kommen, von Babel894.

15 And he said,559 What4100 have they seen7200 in thine house?1004 And Hezekiah2396 answered,559 853 All3605 the things that834 are in mine house1004 have they seen:7200 there is1961 nothing3808 1697 among my treasures214 that834 I have not3808 showed7200 them.

15 Er sprach559: Was haben sie gesehen7200 in deinem Hause1004? Hiskia2396 sprach559: Sie haben alles gesehen7200, was in meinem Hause1004 ist7200; und ist nichts in meinen Schätzen214, das1697 ich nicht ihnen gezeiget hätte.

16 And Isaiah3470 said559 unto413 Hezekiah,2396 Hear8085 the word1697 of the LORD.3068

16 Da sprach559 Jesaja3470 zu8085 Hiskia2396: Höre des HErrn3068 Wort1697!

17 Behold,2009 the days3117 come,935 that all3605 that834 is in thine house,1004 and that which834 thy fathers1 have laid up in store686 unto5704 this2088 day,3117 shall be carried5375 into Babylon:894 nothing3808 1697 shall be left,3498 saith559 the LORD.3068

17 Siehe, es kommt935 die Zeit3117, daß alles wird gen Babel894 weggeführet werden3498 aus deinem Hause1004, und was deine Väter1 gesammelt haben686 bis auf5375 diesen Tag3117; und wird nichts1697 übergelassen werden, spricht559 der HErr3068.

18 And of thy sons4480 1121 that834 shall issue3318 from4480 thee, which834 thou shalt beget,3205 shall they take away;3947 and they shall be1961 eunuchs5631 in the palace1964 of the king4428 of Babylon.894

18 Dazu der Kinder1121, die von dir kommen3318, die du zeugen wirst, werden3205 genommen werden, daß sie3947 Kämmerer5631 seien im Palast1964 des Königs4428 zu Babel894.

19 Then said559 Hezekiah2396 unto413 Isaiah,3470 Good2896 is the word1697 of the LORD3068 which834 thou hast spoken.1696 And he said,559 Is it not3808 good, if518 peace7965 and truth571 be1961 in my days?3117

19 Hiskia2396 aber sprach559 zu Jesaja3470: Das1697 ist gut2896, das der HErr3068 geredet hat1696. Und sprach559 weiter: Es wird doch Friede7965 und Treue571 sein zu meinen Zeiten3117.

20 And the rest3499 of the acts1697 of Hezekiah,2396 and all3605 his might,1369 and how834 he made6213 853 a pool,1295 and a conduit,8585 and brought935 853 water4325 into the city,5892 are they1992 not3808 written3789 in5921 the book5612 of the chronicles1697 3117 of the kings4428 of Judah?3063
