1 Und5975 es1697 sprach559 Elia452, der Thisbiter8664, aus den Bürgern8453 Gileads1568, zu Ahab256: So wahr der HErr3068, der GOtt430 Israels3478, lebet, vor6440 dem ich6310 stehe, es soll diese Jahre8141 weder Tau2919 noch Regen4306 kommen, ich sage es denn.

2 And the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 unto413 him, saying,559

2 Und das Wort1697 des HErrn3068 kam zu ihm und sprach559:

3 Get1980 thee hence,4480 2088 and turn6437 thee eastward,6924 and hide thyself5641 by the brook5158 Cherith,3747 that834 is before5921 6440 Jordan.3383

3 Gehe3212 weg von6440 hinnen und wende6437 dich5641 gegen Morgen6924 und verbirg dich am Bach5158 Krith3747, der gegen den Jordan3383 fleußt.

4 And it shall be,1961 that thou shalt drink8354 of the brook;4480 5158 and I have commanded6680 the ravens6158 to feed3557 thee there.8033

4 Und sollst vom Bach5158 trinken8354; und ich habe den Raben6158 geboten, daß sie6680 dich daselbst sollen versorgen3557.

5 So he went1980 and did6213 according unto the word1697 of the LORD:3068 for he went1980 and dwelt3427 by the brook5158 Cherith,3747 that834 is before5921 6440 Jordan.3383

5 Er aber ging3212 hin3212 und tat6213 nach dem Wort1697 des HErrn3068; und ging weg und setzte sich3427 am Bach5158 Krith3747, der gegen6440 den Jordan3383 fleußt.

6 And the ravens6158 brought935 him bread3899 and flesh1320 in the morning,1242 and bread3899 and flesh1320 in the evening;6153 and he drank8354 of4480 the brook.5158
|
6 Und1320 die Raben6158 brachten935 ihm Brot3899 und Fleisch1320 des Morgens1242 und des Abends6153; und er3899 trank8354 des Bachs5158.

7 And it came to pass1961 after4480 7093 a while,3117 that the brook5158 dried up,3001 because3588 there had been1961 no3808 rain1653 in the land.776

7 Und es geschah nach7093 etlichen Tagen3117, daß der Bach5158 vertrocknete3001; denn es war kein Regen1653 im Lande776.

8 And the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 unto413 him, saying,559

8 Da kam das Wort1697 des HErrn3068 zu ihm und sprach559:
|
|
9 Arise,6965 get1980 thee to Zarephath,6886 which834 belongeth to Zidon,6721 and dwell3427 there:8033 behold,2009 I have commanded6680 a widow490 woman802 there8033 to sustain3557 thee.

9 Mache dich3427 auf und gehe3212 gen Zarpath6886, welche bei Zidon liegt, und bleibe daselbst802; denn ich habe6965 daselbst einer Witwe490 geboten, daß sie6680 dich versorge3557.

10 So he arose6965 and went1980 to Zarephath.6886 And when he came935 to413 the gate6607 of the city,5892 behold,2009 the widow490 woman802 was there8033 gathering7197 of sticks:6086 and he called7121 to413 her, and said,559 Fetch3947 me, I pray thee,4994 a little4592 water4325 in a vessel,3627 that I may drink.8354

10 Und er machte sich auf6965 und ging3212 gen Zarpath6886. Und da er kam935 an die Tür6607 der Stadt5892, siehe, da war eine Witwe490 und las7197 Holz6086 auf3947. Und er rief7121 ihr802 und sprach559: Hole mir ein wenig4592 Wasser4325 im Gefäße3627, daß ich trinke8354.

11 And as she was going1980 to fetch3947 it, he called7121 to413 her, and said,559 Bring3947 me, I pray thee,4994 a morsel6595 of bread3899 in thine hand.3027

11 Da sie3947, aber hinging3212 zu holen, rief7121 er3027 ihr und sprach559: Bringe3947 mir auch einen Bissen6595 Brots3899 mit.

12 And she said,559 As the LORD3068 thy God430 liveth,2416 I have3426 not518 a cake,4580 but3588 518 a handful4393 3709 of meal7058 in a barrel,3537 and a little4592 oil8081 in a cruse:6835 and, behold,2009 I am gathering7197 two8147 sticks,6086 that I may go in935 and dress6213 it for me and my son,1121 that we may eat398 it, and die.4191

12 Sie sprach559: So wahr der HErr3068, dein GOtt430, lebet, ich habe3426 nichts Gebackenes4580 ohne eine Handvoll3709 Mehls7058 im Kad und ein wenig4592 Öl8081 im Kruge3537. Und siehe, ich habe6213 ein Holz6086 oder zwei8147 aufgelesen7197 und gehe hinein und will935 mir und meinem Sohn1121 zurichten, daß wir essen398 und sterben4191.

13 And Elijah452 said559 unto413 her, Fear3372 not;408 go935 and do6213 as thou hast said:1697 but389 make6213 me thereof4480 8033 a little6996 cake5692 first,7223 and bring3318 it unto me, and after314 make6213 for thee and for thy son.1121

13 Elia452 sprach zu ihr: Fürchte3372 dich nicht! Gehe935 hin und mache6213 es, wie du gesagt559 hast1697; doch mache6213 mir am ersten7223 ein kleines6996 Gebacknes davon und bringe3318 mir‘s heraus; dir aber und deinem Sohn1121 sollst8033 du danach auch machen6213.

14 For3588 thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 God430 of Israel,3478 The barrel3537 of meal7058 shall not3808 waste,3615 neither3808 shall the cruse6835 of oil8081 fail,2637 until5704 the day3117 that the LORD3068 sendeth5414 rain1653 upon5921 6440 the earth.127

14 Denn also spricht559 der HErr3068, der GOtt430 Israels3478: Das Mehl7058 im Kad3537 soll nicht verzehret werden, und dem Ölkrug8081 soll nichts mangeln2637 bis auf3615 den Tag3117, da der HErr3068 regnen1653 lassen5414 wird auf6440 Erden127.

15 And she went1980 and did6213 according to the saying1697 of Elijah:452 and she,1931 and he,1931 and her house,1004 did eat398 many days.3117

15 Sie ging hin3212 und machte6213, wie Elia452 gesagt hatte1697. Und er aß398, und sie auch und ihr Haus1004 eine Zeitlang3117.

16 And the barrel3537 of meal7058 wasted3615 not,3808 neither3808 did the cruse6835 of oil8081 fail,2637 according to the word1697 of the LORD,3068 which834 he spoke1696 by3027 Elijah.452

16 Das Mehl7058 im Kad3537 ward nicht verzehret, und dem Ölkrug8081 mangelte2638 nichts, nach dem Wort1697 des HErrn3068, das er geredet hatte3615 durch3027 Elia452.

17 And it came to pass1961 after310 these428 things,1697 that the son1121 of the woman,802 the mistress1172 of the house,1004 fell sick;2470 and his sickness2483 was1961 so3966 sore,2389 that5704 834 there was no3808 breath5397 left3498 in him.

17 Und1004 nach310 diesen Geschichten1697 ward des Weibes802, seiner Hauswirtin1172, Sohn1121 krank2470, und seine Krankheit2483 war so sehr3966 hart2389, daß kein Odem5397 mehr in ihm blieb3498.

18 And she said559 unto413 Elijah,452 What4100 have I to do with thee, O thou man376 of God?430 art thou come935 unto413 me to call853 my sin5771 to remembrance,2142 and to slay4191 853 my son?1121
|
18 Und sie sprach559 zu Elia452: Was habe935 ich mit dir zu schaffen, du Mann376 Gottes430? Du bist zu mir hereinkommen, daß meiner Missetat5771 gedacht2142 und mein Sohn1121 getötet4191 würde.

19 And he said559 unto413 her, Give5414 me853 thy son.1121 And he took3947 him out of her bosom,4480 2436 and carried him up5927 into413 a loft,5944 where834 8033 he1931 abode,3427 and laid7901 him upon5921 his own bed.4296

19 Er sprach559 zu ihr3427: Gib5414 mir her deinen Sohn1121! Und er nahm3947 ihn von ihrem Schoß2436 und ging hinauf auf5927 den Saal, da er wohnete, und legte7901 ihn auf sein Bett4296.

20 And he cried7121 unto413 the LORD,3068 and said,559 O LORD3068 my God,430 hast thou also1571 brought evil7489 upon5921 the widow490 with5973 whom834 I589 sojourn,1481 by slaying4191 853 her son?1121
|
20 Und rief7121 den HErrn3068 an und sprach559: HErr3068, mein GOtt430, hast du auch der Witwe490, bei der ich ein Gast1481 bin, so übel7489 getan, daß du ihren Sohn1121 tötest4191?
|
|
21 And he stretched himself4058 upon5921 the child3206 three7969 times,6471 and cried7121 unto413 the LORD,3068 and said,559 O LORD3068 my God,430 I pray thee,4994 let this2088 child's3206 soul5315 come into him again.7725 5921 7130

21 Und er maß4058 sich7725 über dem Kinde3206 dreimal7969 und rief7121 den HErrn3068 an und sprach559: HErr3068, mein GOtt430, laß die7130 See LE5315 dieses Kindes3206 wieder7725 zu ihm kommen!

22 And the LORD3068 heard8085 the voice6963 of Elijah;452 and the soul5315 of the child3206 came into him again,7725 5921 7130 and he revived.2421
|
22 Und452 der HErr3068 erhörete die7130 Stimme6963 Elias; und die See LE5315 des Kindes3206 kam wieder7725 zu8085 ihm und ward lebendig2421.

23 And Elijah452 took3947 853 the child,3206 and brought him down3381 out of4480 the chamber5944 into the house,1004 and delivered5414 him unto his mother:517 and Elijah452 said,559 See,7200 thy son1121 liveth.2416
|
23 Und452 Elia452 nahm3947 das Kind3206 und brachte es hinab3381 vom Saal ins Haus1004; und gab5414 es seiner Mutter517 und sprach559: Siehe7200 da, dein Sohn1121 lebet.

24 And the woman802 said559 to413 Elijah,452 Now6258 by this2088 I know3045 that3588 thou859 art a man376 of God,430 and that the word1697 of the LORD3068 in thy mouth6310 is truth.571

24 Und das Weib802 sprach559 zu Elia452: Nun2088 erkenne ich, daß du ein Mann376 Gottes430 bist, und des HErrn3068 Wort1697 in deinem Munde6310 ist3045 Wahrheit571.
