2 By which3739 also2532 you are saved,4982 if1487 you keep2722 in memory what5101 I preached2097 to you, unless1622 1508 you have2192 believed4100 in vain.1500

3 For I delivered3860 to you first1722 4413 of all that which3739 I also2532 received,3880 how that Christ5547 died599 for our sins266 according2596 to the scriptures;1124

4 And that he was buried,2290 and that he rose1453 again1453 the third5154 day2250 according2596 to the scriptures:1124

5 And that he was seen3700 of Cephas,2786 then1534 of the twelve:1427

6 After1899 that, he was seen3700 of above1883 five4001 hundred4001 brothers80 at2178 once;2178 of whom3739 the greater4119 part4119 remain3306 to this present,737 but some5100 are fallen2837 asleep.2837

9 For I am1510 the least1646 of the apostles,652 that am1510 not meet2425 to be called2564 an apostle,652 because1360 I persecuted1377 the church1577 of God.2316

10 But by the grace5485 of God2316 I am1510 what3739 I am:1510 and his grace5485 which was bestowed on me was not in vain;2756 but I labored2872 more4055 abundantly4054 than they all:3956 yet1161 not I, but the grace5485 of God2316 which3588 was with me.

11 Therefore3767 whether1535 it were I or1535 they, so3779 we preach,2784 and so3779 you believed.4100

12 Now1161 if1487 Christ5547 be preached2784 that he rose1453 from the dead,3498 how4459 say3004 some5100 among1722 you that there is no3756 resurrection386 of the dead?3498

13 But if1487 there be no3756 resurrection386 of the dead,3498 then3761 is Christ5547 not risen:1453

14 And if1487 Christ5547 be not risen,1453 then686 is our preaching2782 vain,2756 and your5216 faith4102 is also2532 vain.2756

15 Yes,1161 and we are found2147 false5575 witnesses5575 of God;2316 because3754 we have2192 testified3140 of God2316 that he raised1453 up Christ:5547 whom3739 he raised1453 not up, if1512 so686 be that the dead3498 rise1453 not.

16 For if1487 the dead3498 rise1453 not, then3761 is not Christ5547 raised:1453

17 And if1487 Christ5547 be not raised,1453 your5216 faith4102 is vain;3152 you are yet2089 in your5216 sins.266

18 Then686 they also2532 which are fallen2837 asleep2837 in Christ5547 are perished.622

19 If1487 in this5126 life2222 only3440 we have2070 hope1679 in Christ,5547 we are of all3956 men444 most miserable.1652

20 But now3570 is Christ5547 risen1453 from the dead,3498 and become1096 the first fruits536 of them that slept.2837

21 For since1894 by man444 came death,2288 by man444 came also2532 the resurrection386 of the dead.3498

41 There is one243 glory1391 of the sun,2246 and another243 glory1391 of the moon,4582 and another243 glory1391 of the stars:792 for one star792 differs1308 from another star792 in glory.1391

42 So3779 also2532 is the resurrection386 of the dead.3498 It is sown4687 in corruption;5356 it is raised1453 in incorruption:861

47 The first4413 man444 is of the earth,1093 earthy;5517 the second1208 man444 is the Lord2962 from heaven.3772

48 As is the earthy,5517 such5108 are they also2532 that are earthy:5517 and as is the heavenly,2032 such5108 are they also2532 that are heavenly.2032

49 And as we have borne5409 the image1504 of the earthy,5517 we shall also2532 bear5409 the image of the heavenly.2032

51 Behold,2400 I show3004 you a mystery;3466 We shall not all3956 sleep,2837 but we shall all3956 be changed,236

52 In a moment,823 in the twinkling4493 of an eye,3788 at1722 the last2078 trump:4536 for the trumpet shall sound,4537 and the dead3498 shall be raised1453 incorruptible,862 and we shall be changed.236

53 For this5124 corruptible5349 must put1746 on1746 incorruption,861 and this5124 mortal2349 must put1746 on1746 immortality.110

55 O death,2288 where4226 is your sting?2759 O grave,86 where4226 is your victory?3534

56 The sting2759 of death2288 is sin;266 and the strength1411 of sin266 is the law.3551

2 Якою й спасаєтесь, коли пам'ятаєте, яким словом я благовісти́в вам, якщо тільки ви ввірували не нао́сліп.

3 Бо я передав вам найперш, що й прийняв, - що Христос був умер ради наших гріхів за Писа́нням,

4 і що Він був похо́ваний, і що третього дня Він воскрес за Писа́нням,

5 і що з'явився Він Ки́фі, потім Дванадцятьо́м.

6 А по́тім з'явився нара́з більше як п'ятистам браттям, що більшість із них живе й досі, а дехто й спочи́ли.

7 Пото́му з'явився Він Якову, опісля - усім апо́столам.

8 А по всіх Він з'явився й мені, мов якому недо́родкові.

11 Тож чи я, чи вони, - ми так проповідуємо, і так ви ввірували.

12 Коли ж про Христа проповідується, що воскрес Він із мертвих, - як же дехто між вами гово́рять, що немає воскресіння мертвих?

13 Як немає ж воскресіння мертвих, то й Христос не воскрес!

14 Коли ж бо Христос не воскрес, то проповідь наша даремна, даремна також віра ваша!

15 Ми знайшлися б тоді неправдивими свідками Божими, бо про Бога ми сві́дчили, що воскреси́в Він Христа, Якого Він не воскресив, якщо не воскресають померлі.

16 Бо як мертві не воскресають, то й Христос не воскрес!

17 Коли ж бо Христос не воскрес, тоді віра ваша даремна, - ви в своїх ще гріхах,

18 тоді то загинули й ті, що в Христі упоко́їлись!

19 Коли ми наді́ємося на Христа тільки в цьому житті, то ми найнещасні́ші від усіх людей!

20 Та нині Христос воскрес із мертвих, - пе́рвісток серед покі́йних.

21 Смерть бо через люди́ну, і через Люди́ну воскресіння мертвих.

22 Бо так, як в Ада́мі вмирають усі, так само в Христі всі оживуть,

23 кожен у своєму порядку: пе́рвісток Христос, по́тім ті, що Христові, під час Його при́ходу.

24 А пото́му кінець, коли Він передасть царство Богові й Отцеві, коли Він зруйнує всякий уря́д, і вла́ду всяку та силу.

25 Бо належить Йому царювати, аж доки Він не „покладе всіх Своїх ворогів під ногами Своїми!“

26 Як ворог останній - смерть зни́щиться,

27 бо „під ноги Його Він усе впокори́в“. Коли ж каже, що впоко́рено все, то ясно, що все, окрім Того, Хто впокори́в Йому все.

28 А коли Йому все Він упоко́рить, тоді й Сам Син упоко́риться Тому́, Хто все впокори́в Йому, щоб Бог бу́в у всьому все.

29 Бо що зроблять ті, хто христяться ради мертвих? Коли мертві не воскресають зовсім, то на́що вони ради мертвих і христяться?

30 Для чого й ми повсякча́с наражаємось на небезпе́ки?

31 Я щодень умираю. Так свідчу, браття, вашою хвалою, що маю її в Христі Ісусі, Господі нашім.

32 Коли я зо звіра́ми боровся в Ефе́сі, яка мені по-лю́дському ко́ристь, коли мертві не воскресають? „Будем їсти та пити, бо ми взавтра вмрем!“

33 Не дайте себе зве́сти, — товари́ство лихе псує добрі звича́ї!

34 Протверезі́ться правдиво, та й не грішіть, бо деякі Бога не знають, — говорю́ вам на сором!

35 Але дехто скаже: „Як мертві воскреснуть? І в якім тілі при́йдуть?“

36 Нерозумний, — що́ ти сієш, те не оживе, як не вмре.

37 І коли сієш, то сієш не тіло майбутнє, але голе зе́рно, яке тра́питься, — пшениці або чого іншого,

38 і Бог йому тіло дає, як захоче, і кожному зе́рняті тіло його.

39 Не кожне тіло однакове тіло, але ж інше в люде́й, та інше тіло в скотини, та інше тіло в пташо́к, та інше у риб.

40 Є небесні тіла й тіла зе́мні, але ж інша слава небесним, а інша зе́мним.

41 Інша слава для сонця, та інша слава для місяця, та інша слава для зір, — бо зоря́ від зорі́ відрізня́ється славою!

42 Так само й воскресіння мертвих: сіється в тління, — в нетління встає,

43 сіється в неславу, — у славі встає, сіється в немочі, — у силі встає,

44 сіється тіло звичайне, — встає тіло духовне. Є тіло звичайне, є й тіло духовне.

45 Так і написано: „Перша люди́на Ада́м став душею живою“, а останній Ада́м — то дух оживляючий.

46 Та не перше духовне, але звичайне, а потім духовне.

47 Перша люди́на — з землі, зе́мна, друга Люди́на — із неба Госпо́дь.

48 Який зе́мний, такі й земні, і Який небесний, такі й небесні.

49 І, як носили ми образ зе́много, так і образ небесного бу́демо носити.

50 І це скажу́, браття, що тіло й кров посісти Божого Царства не можуть, ані тління нетління не посяде.

51 Ось кажу́ я вам таємни́цю: не всі ми засне́мо, та всі перемінимось, —

52 раптом, як оком змигну́ти, при останній сурмі́: бо засурми́ть вона — і мертві воскреснуть, а ми перемінимось!

53 Мусить бо тлінне оце зодягну́тись в нетління, а смертне оце зодягтися в безсмертя.

54 А коли оце тлінне в нетління зодя́гнеться, і оце смертне в безсмертя зодя́гнеться, тоді збудеться слово написане: „Поглинута смерть перемогою“!

55 Де, смерте, твоя перемога? Де твоє, смерте, жало́?

56 Жало́ ж смерти — то гріх, а сила гріха — то Зако́н.

57 А Богові дяка, що Він Господом нашим Ісусом Христом перемогу нам дав.

58 Отож, брати любі мої, будьте міцні, непохитні, збагачуйтесь за́вжди в Господньому ділі, знаючи, що ваша праця не марно́тна у Господі!

12 Коли ж про Христа проповідується, що воскрес Він із мертвих, - як же дехто між вами гово́рять, що немає воскресіння мертвих?

13 Як немає ж воскресіння мертвих, то й Христос не воскрес!

14 And if1487 Christ5547 be not risen,1453 then686 is our preaching2782 vain,2756 and your5216 faith4102 is also2532 vain.2756

14 Коли ж бо Христос не воскрес, то проповідь наша даремна, даремна також віра ваша!

16 Бо як мертві не воскресають, то й Христос не воскрес!

34 Протверезі́ться правдиво, та й не грішіть, бо деякі Бога не знають, — говорю́ вам на сором!

35 But some5100 man will say,2046 How4459 are the dead3498 raised1453 up? and with what4169 body4983 do they come?2064

35 Але дехто скаже: „Як мертві воскреснуть? І в якім тілі при́йдуть?“

36 You fool,878 that which3739 you sow4687 is not quickened,2227 except3362 it die:599

36 Нерозумний, — що́ ти сієш, те не оживе, як не вмре.

37 And that which3739 you sow,4687 you sow4687 not that body4983 that shall be, but bore1131 grain,2848 it may chance5177 of wheat,4621 or2228 of some5100 other3062 grain:

37 І коли сієш, то сієш не тіло майбутнє, але голе зе́рно, яке тра́питься, — пшениці або чого іншого,

38 But God2316 gives1325 it a body4983 as it has pleased2309 him, and to every1538 seed4690 his own2398 body.4983

38 і Бог йому тіло дає, як захоче, і кожному зе́рняті тіло його.

39 All3956 flesh4561 is not the same846 flesh:4561 but there is one243 kind of flesh4561 of men,444 another243 flesh4561 of beasts,2934 another243 of fishes,2486 and another243 of birds.4421

39 Не кожне тіло однакове тіло, але ж інше в люде́й, та інше тіло в скотини, та інше тіло в пташо́к, та інше у риб.

40 There are also2532 celestial2032 bodies,4983 and bodies4983 terrestrial:1919 but the glory1391 of the celestial2032 is one,2087 and the glory1391 of the terrestrial1919 is another.2087

40 Є небесні тіла й тіла зе́мні, але ж інша слава небесним, а інша зе́мним.

41 There is one243 glory1391 of the sun,2246 and another243 glory1391 of the moon,4582 and another243 glory1391 of the stars:792 for one star792 differs1308 from another star792 in glory.1391

41 Інша слава для сонця, та інша слава для місяця, та інша слава для зір, — бо зоря́ від зорі́ відрізня́ється славою!

42 So3779 also2532 is the resurrection386 of the dead.3498 It is sown4687 in corruption;5356 it is raised1453 in incorruption:861

42 Так само й воскресіння мертвих: сіється в тління, — в нетління встає,

43 сіється в неславу, — у славі встає, сіється в немочі, — у силі встає,

44 сіється тіло звичайне, — встає тіло духовне. Є тіло звичайне, є й тіло духовне.

45 And so3779 it is written,1125 The first4413 man444 Adam76 was made1096 a living2198 soul;5590 the last2078 Adam76 was made1096 a quickening2227 spirit.4151

45 Так і написано: „Перша люди́на Ада́м став душею живою“, а останній Ада́м — то дух оживляючий.

49 І, як носили ми образ зе́много, так і образ небесного бу́демо носити.

50 Now1161 this5124 I say,5346 brothers,80 that flesh4561 and blood129 cannot3756 1410 inherit2816 the kingdom932 of God;2316 neither3761 does corruption5356 inherit2816 incorruption.861

50 І це скажу́, браття, що тіло й кров посісти Божого Царства не можуть, ані тління нетління не посяде.

51 Behold,2400 I show3004 you a mystery;3466 We shall not all3956 sleep,2837 but we shall all3956 be changed,236

51 Ось кажу́ я вам таємни́цю: не всі ми засне́мо, та всі перемінимось, —

52 In a moment,823 in the twinkling4493 of an eye,3788 at1722 the last2078 trump:4536 for the trumpet shall sound,4537 and the dead3498 shall be raised1453 incorruptible,862 and we shall be changed.236

52 раптом, як оком змигну́ти, при останній сурмі́: бо засурми́ть вона — і мертві воскреснуть, а ми перемінимось!

53 For this5124 corruptible5349 must put1746 on1746 incorruption,861 and this5124 mortal2349 must put1746 on1746 immortality.110

53 Мусить бо тлінне оце зодягну́тись в нетління, а смертне оце зодягтися в безсмертя.

54 So1161 when3752 this5124 corruptible5349 shall have put1746 on1746 incorruption,861 and this5124 mortal2349 shall have put1746 on1746 immortality,110 then5119 shall be brought1096 to pass the saying3056 that is written,1125 Death2288 is swallowed2666 up in victory.3534

54 А коли оце тлінне в нетління зодя́гнеться, і оце смертне в безсмертя зодя́гнеться, тоді збудеться слово написане: „Поглинута смерть перемогою“!

55 O death,2288 where4226 is your sting?2759 O grave,86 where4226 is your victory?3534

55 Де, смерте, твоя перемога? Де твоє, смерте, жало́?

56 The sting2759 of death2288 is sin;266 and the strength1411 of sin266 is the law.3551

56 Жало́ ж смерти — то гріх, а сила гріха — то Зако́н.

57 But thanks5485 be to God,2316 which3588 gives1325 us the victory3534 through1223 our Lord2962 Jesus2424 Christ.5547

57 А Богові дяка, що Він Господом нашим Ісусом Христом перемогу нам дав.

58 Therefore,5620 my beloved27 brothers,80 be you steadfast,1476 unmovable,277 always3842 abounding4052 in the work2041 of the Lord,2962 for as much as you know1492 that your5216 labor2873 is not in vain2756 in the Lord.2962

58 Отож, брати любі мої, будьте міцні, непохитні, збагачуйтесь за́вжди в Господньому ділі, знаючи, що ваша праця не марно́тна у Господі!
