1 And the inhabitants3427 of Jerusalem3389 made Ahaziah274 his youngest6996 son1121 king4427 in his stead:8478 for the band1416 of men that came935 with the Arabians6163 to the camp4264 had slain2026 all3605 the oldest.7223 So Ahaziah274 the son1121 of Jehoram3088 king4428 of Judah3063 reigned.4427

7 And the destruction8395 of Ahaziah274 was of God430 by coming935 to Joram:3141 for when he was come,935 he went3318 out with Jehoram3088 against413 Jehu3058 the son1121 of Nimshi,5250 whom834 the LORD3068 had anointed4886 to cut3772 off the house1004 of Ahab.256

7 И от Бога430 было это на погибель8395 Охозии,274 что он пришел935 к Иораму:3141 ибо, по приходе935 своем, он вышел3318 с Иорамом3088 против Ииуя,3058 сына1121 Намессиева,5250 которого помазал4886 Господь3068 на истребление3772 дома1004 Ахавова.256

8 And it came1961 to pass, that, when Jehu3058 was executing judgment8199 on the house1004 of Ahab,256 and found4672 the princes8269 of Judah,3063 and the sons1121 of the brothers251 of Ahaziah,274 that ministered8334 to Ahaziah,274 he slew2026 them.

9 And he sought1245 Ahaziah:274 and they caught3920 him, (for he was hid2244 in Samaria,8111) and brought935 him to Jehu:3058 and when they had slain4191 him, they buried6912 him: Because,3588 said559 they, he is the son1121 of Jehoshaphat,3092 who834 sought1875 the LORD3068 with all3605 his heart.3824 So the house1004 of Ahaziah274 had no369 power3581 to keep6113 still the kingdom.4467

9 И велел он искать1245 Охозию,274 и взяли3920 его, когда он скрывался2244 в Самарии,8111 и привели935 его к Ииую,3058 и умертвили4191 его, и похоронили6912 его, ибо говорили:559 он сын1121 Иосафата,3092 который взыскал1875 Господа3068 от всего сердца3824 своего. И не осталось в доме1004 Охозии,274 кто мог3581 бы царствовать.61134467

10 But when Athaliah6271 the mother517 of Ahaziah274 saw7200 that her son1121 was dead,4191 she arose6965 and destroyed1696 all3605 the seed2233 royal4467 of the house1004 of Judah.3063

11 But Jehoshabeath,3090 the daughter of the king,4428 took3947 Joash3101 the son1121 of Ahaziah,274 and stole1589 him from among8432 the king's4428 sons1121 that were slain,4191 and put5414 him and his nurse3243 in a bedchamber.2315 4296 So Jehoshabeath,3090 the daughter1323 of king4428 Jehoram,3088 the wife802 of Jehoiada3111 the priest,3548 (for she was the sister269 of Ahaziah,274) hid5641 him from Athaliah,6271 so that she slew4191 him not.

11 Но Иосавеф,3090 дочь1323 царя,4428 взяла3947 Иоаса,3101 сына1121 Охозии,274 и похитила1589 его из среды8432 царских4428 сыновей1121 умерщвляемых,4191 и поместила5414 его и кормилицу3243 его в спальной4296 комнате;2315 и таким образом Иосавеф,3090 дочь1323 царя4428 Иорама,3088 жена802 Иодая3077 священника,3548 сестра269 Охозии,274 скрыла5641 Иоаса от Гофолии,6271 и она не умертвила4191 его.

12 And he was with them hid2244 in the house1004 of God430 six8337 years:8141 and Athaliah6271 reigned4427 over5921 the land.776

12 И был2244 он у них в доме1004 Божием430 скрываем2244 шесть8337 лет;8141 Гофолия6271 же царствовала4427 над землею.776
