2 Wenn3117 du1245 jetzt von mir5978 gehest, so wirst du559 zween Männer582 finden4672 bei dem Grabe6900 Rahels7354 in der Grenze1366 Benjamins1144 zu Zelzah6766, die werden zu dir sagen559: Die Eselinnen860 sind4672 gefunden, die du zu suchen bist gegangen1980; und siehe, dein Vater1 hat die Esel860 aus der Acht gelassen5203 und sorget um1697 euch3212 und spricht: Was soll ich um1672 meinen Sohn1121 tun6213?

2 When thou art departed1980 from4480 5973 me today,3117 then thou shalt find4672 two8147 men376 by5973 Rachel's7354 sepulcher6900 in the border1366 of Benjamin1144 at Zelzah;6766 and they will say559 unto413 thee, The asses860 which834 thou wentest1980 to seek1245 are found:4672 and, lo,2009 thy father1 hath left5203 853 the care1697 of the asses,860 and sorroweth1672 for you, saying,559 What4100 shall I do6213 for my son?1121

3 Und wenn du dich von dannen fürbaß wendest2498, so wirst du kommen935 zu der Eiche436 Thabor; daselbst werden5375 dich antreffen4672 drei7969 Männer582, die hinaufgehen5927 zu GOtt430 gen Bethel. Einer259 trägt5375 drei7969 Böcklein1423, der andere259 drei7969 Stücke Brots3899, der dritte eine259 Flasche mit Wein3196.

5 Danach wirst du kommen3381 auf6440 den Hügel1389 Gottes430, da310 der Philister6430 Lager ist935; und wenn du daselbst in die Stadt5892 kommst, wird dir begegnen6293 ein Haufe2256 Propheten5030 von der Höhe1116 herabkommend und vor ihnen her935 ein Psalter5035 und Pauken und Pfeifen2485 und Harfen3658, und sie weissagend.

5 After that310 3651 thou shalt come935 to the hill1389 of God,430 where834 8033 is the garrison5333 of the Philistines:6430 and it shall come to pass,1961 when thou art come935 thither8033 to the city,5892 that thou shalt meet6293 a company2256 of prophets5030 coming down3381 from the high place4480 1116 with a psaltery,5035 and a tabret,8596 and a pipe,2485 and a harp,3658 before6440 them; and they1992 shall prophesy: 5012

6 Und der Geist7307 des HErrn3068 wird6743 über dich geraten, daß du mit ihnen weissagest; da wirst du ein anderer312 Mann376 werden2015.

6 And the Spirit7307 of the LORD3068 will come6743 upon5921 thee, and thou shalt prophesy5012 with them,5973 and shalt be turned2015 into another312 man.376

7 Wenn dir nun diese Zeichen226 kommen, so tue6213, was dir unter Händen3027 kommt935; denn GOtt430 ist4672 mit dir.

7 And let it be,1961 when3588 these428 signs226 are come935 unto thee, that thou do6213 as occasion serve834 4672 3027 thee; for3588 God430 is with5973 thee.

8 Du sollst3045 aber vor mir6440 hinabgehen3381 gen Gilgal1537; siehe, da will935 ich zu6213 dir hinabkommen, zu opfern2076 Brandopfer5930 und Dankopfer2077. Sieben7651 Tage3117 sollst du harren3176, bis ich zu dir komme3381 und dir kundtue, was du tun5927 sollst.

8 And thou shalt go down3381 before6440 me to Gilgal;1537 and, behold,2009 I595 will come down3381 unto413 thee, to offer5927 burnt offerings,5930 and to sacrifice2076 sacrifices2077 of peace offerings:8002 seven7651 days3117 shalt thou tarry,3176 till5704 I come935 to413 thee, and show3045 thee853 what834 thou shalt do.6213

9 Und da er seine Schultern7926 wandte6437, daß er von Samuel8050 ging3212, gab2015 ihm GOtt430 ein ander312 Herz3820; und kamen935 alle diese Zeichen226 auf denselben Tag3117.

9 And it was1961 so, that when he had turned6437 his back7926 to go1980 from4480 5973 Samuel,8050 God430 gave2015 him another312 heart:3820 and all3605 those428 signs226 came to pass935 that1931 day.3117

10 Und da sie kamen an den Hügel1389, siehe, da kam935 ihm ein2256 Prophetenhaufe5030 entgegen7125; und der Geist7307 Gottes430 geriet6743 über ihn, daß er5012 unter8432 ihnen weissagete.

10 And when they came935 thither8033 to the hill,1389 behold,2009 a company2256 of prophets5030 met7125 him; and the Spirit7307 of God430 came6743 upon5921 him, and he prophesied5012 among8432 them.

11 Da ihn aber1121 sahen7200 alle, die ihn vorhin gekannt hatten3045, daß er mit den Propheten5012 weissagete, sprachen559 sie5971 alle untereinander376: Was ist dem Sohne Kis7027 geschehen? Ist Saul7586 auch unter den Propheten5030?

11 And it came to pass,1961 when all3605 that knew3045 him formerly4480 865 8032 saw7200 that, behold,2009 he prophesied5012 among5973 the prophets,5030 then the people5971 said559 one376 to413 another,7453 What4100 is this2088 that is come1961 unto the son1121 of Kish?7027 Is Saul7586 also1571 among the prophets?5030

12 Und einer376 daselbst antwortete6030 und sprach559: Wer ist ihr Vater1? Daher ist das Sprichwort4912 kommen: Ist Saul7586 auch unter den Propheten5030?

13 Und da er ausgeweissaget hatte, kam935 er auf3615 die Höhe1116.

14 Es sprach559 aber Sauls7586 Vetter1730 zu ihm und zu seinem Knaben5288: Wo575 seid1980 ihr hingegangen? Sie559 antworteten: Die Eselinnen860 zu suchen; und da wir sahen7200, daß sie1245 nicht369 da waren935, kamen wir zu Samuel8050.

14 And Saul's7586 uncle1730 said559 unto413 him and to413 his servant,5288 Whither575 went1980 ye? And he said,559 To seek1245 853 the asses:860 and when we saw7200 that3588 they were no where,369 we came935 to413 Samuel.8050

15 Da sprach559 der Vetter1730 Sauls7586: Sage559 mir, was sagte5046 euch Samuel8050?

15 And Saul's7586 uncle1730 said,559 Tell5046 me, I pray thee,4994 what4100 Samuel8050 said559 unto you.

16 Saul7586 antwortete559 seinem Vetter1730: Er sagte5046 uns, daß die Eselinnen860 gefunden wären4672. Aber von dem Königreich4410 sagte5046 er ihm5046 nicht, was Samuel8050 gesagt559 hatte1697.

16 And Saul7586 said559 unto413 his uncle,1730 He told us plainly5046 5046 that3588 the asses860 were found.4672 But of the matter1697 of the kingdom,4410 whereof834 Samuel8050 spoke,559 he told5046 him not.3808

17 And Samuel8050 called the people together6817 853 5971 unto413 the LORD3068 to Mizpeh;4709

|
18 und sprach559 zu den Kindern1121 Israel3478: So sagt der HErr3068, der GOtt430 Israels: Ich559 habe5927 Israel aus Ägypten4714 geführet und euch von der Ägypter4714 Hand3027 errettet5337 und von der Hand3027 aller Königreiche4467, die euch zwangen3905.

18 And said559 unto413 the children1121 of Israel,3478 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 God430 of Israel,3478 I595 brought up5927 853 Israel3478 out of Egypt,4480 4714 and delivered5337 you out of the hand4480 3027 of the Egyptians,4714 and out of the hand4480 3027 of all3605 kingdoms,4467 and of them that oppressed3905 you:

19 Und559 ihr habt heute3117 euren GOtt430 verworfen3988, der euch aus all eurem Unglück7451 und Trübsal6869 geholfen hat3467, und sprechet zu ihm: Setze7760 einen König4428 über uns! Wohlan, so tretet nun3320 vor6440 den HErrn3068 nach euren Stämmen7626 und Freundschaften505.

19 And ye859 have this day3117 rejected3988 853 your God,430 who834 himself1931 saved3467 you out of all4480 3605 your adversities7451 and your tribulations;6869 and ye have said559 unto him, Nay, but3588 set7760 a king4428 over5921 us. Now6258 therefore present yourselves3320 before6440 the LORD3068 by your tribes,7626 and by your thousands.505

20 Da3920 nun Samuel8050 alle Stämme7626 Israels3478 herzubrachte7126, ward getroffen der Stamm7626 Benjamin1144.

20 And when Samuel8050 had caused853 all3605 the tribes7626 of Israel3478 to come near,7126 the tribe7626 of Benjamin1144 was taken.3920
|
|
21 Und da3920 er7126 den Stamm Benjamin1144 herzubrachte mit seinen Geschlechtern4940, ward4672 getroffen3920 das Geschlecht7626 Matris4309, und ward getroffen Saul7586, der Sohn1121 Kis7027. Und sie suchten1245 ihn, aber sie fanden ihn nicht.

21 When he had caused853 the tribe7626 of Benjamin1144 to come near7126 by their families,4940 the family4940 of Matri4309 was taken,3920 and Saul7586 the son1121 of Kish7027 was taken:3920 and when they sought1245 him, he could not3808 be found.4672

22 Da fragten7592 sie559 fürder den HErrn3068: Wird er376 auch1988 noch herkommen? Der HErr3068 antwortete: Siehe, er hat sich2244 unter935 die Fässer3627 versteckt.
|
22 Therefore they inquired7592 of the LORD3068 further,5750 if the man376 should yet5750 come935 thither.1988 And the LORD3068 answered,559 Behold,2009 he1931 hath hid himself2244 among413 the stuff.3627

|
23 Da liefen sie3947 hin und holeten ihn von dannen. Und da er7323 unter8432 das Volk5971 trat3320, war er eines Haupts länger1361 denn alles Volk5971.
|
23 And they ran7323 and fetched3947 him thence:4480 8033 and when he stood3320 among8432 the people,5971 he was higher1361 than any4480 3605 of the people5971 from his shoulders4480 7926 and upward.4605
|
|
24 Und Samuel8050 sprach559 zu2421 allem Volk5971: Da sehet ihr, welchen der HErr3068 erwählet hat977, denn ihm ist7200 keiner gleich in allem Volk5971. Da jauchzte7321 alles Volk5971 und sprach559: Glück zu dem Könige4428!

24 And Samuel8050 said559 to413 all3605 the people,5971 See7200 ye him whom834 the LORD3068 hath chosen,977 that3588 there is none369 like him3644 among all3605 the people?5971 And all3605 the people5971 shouted,7321 and said,559 God save2421 the king.4428

25 Samuel8050 aber sagte1696 dem Volk5971 alle Rechte4941 des7971 Königreichs und schrieb‘s3789 in ein Buch5612 und legte3240 es vor6440 den HErrn3068. Und Samuel8050 ließ7971 alles Volk5971 gehen, einen jeglichen376 in sein Haus1004.

25 Then Samuel8050 told1696 413 the people5971 853 the manner4941 of the kingdom,4410 and wrote3789 it in a book,5612 and laid it up5117 before6440 the LORD.3068 And Samuel8050 sent7971 853 all3605 the people5971 away, every man376 to his house.1004

26 Und2428 Saul7586 ging1980 auch heim1004 gen Gibea1390; und ging3212 mit ihm des Heers ein Teil, welcher Herz3820 GOtt430 rührete.

26 And Saul7586 also1571 went1980 home1004 to Gibeah;1390 and there went1980 with5973 him a band of men,2428 whose834 hearts3820 God430 had touched.5060

|
27 Aber etliche1100 lose Leute sprachen559: Was sollte uns dieser helfen3467? Und1121 verachteten959 ihn und brachten ihm kein Geschenk4503. Aber er tat935, als hörete er‘s nicht2790.

27 But the children1121 of Belial1100 said,559 How4100 shall this2088 man save3467 us? And they despised959 him, and brought935 him no3808 presents.4503 But he held his peace.2790
