1 And it came to pass1961 after310 these428 things,1697 that Naboth5022 the Jezreelite3158 had1961 a vineyard,3754 which834 was in Jezreel,3157 hard681 by the palace1964 of Ahab256 king4428 of Samaria.8111

2 Und Ahab256 redete1696 mit Naboth5022 und sprach559: Gib5414 mir681 deinen Weinberg3754, ich will mir einen Kohlgarten1588 draus machen, weil er so nahe7138 an meinem Hause1004 liegt. Ich will dir5869 einen bessern Weinberg3754 dafür geben5414; oder, so dir‘s gefällt2896, will ich dir Silber3701 dafür geben5414, so viel er gilt4242.

2 And Ahab256 spoke1696 unto413 Naboth,5022 saying,559 Give5414 me853 thy vineyard,3754 that I may have1961 it for a garden1588 of herbs,3419 because3588 it1931 is near unto7138 681 my house:1004 and I will give5414 thee for8478 it a better2896 vineyard3754 than4480 it; or, if518 it seem good to thee,2895 5869 I will give5414 thee the worth4242 of it2088 in money.3701

3 Aber Naboth5022 sprach559 zu Ahab256: Das lasse der HErr3068 ferne von mir2486 sein, daß ich dir meiner Väter1 Erbe5159 sollte geben5414!

3 And Naboth5022 said559 to413 Ahab,256 The LORD4480 3068 forbid2486 it me, that I should give4480 5414 853 the inheritance5159 of my fathers1 unto thee.

4 Da kam Ahab256 heim1004 Unmuts5620 und zornig2198 um1697 des Worts willen, das Naboth5022, der Jesreeliter3158, zu ihm hatte1696 gesagt559 und gesprochen: Ich will935 dir meiner Väter1 Erbe5159 nicht geben5414. Und er legte sich7901 auf6440 sein Bett4296 und wandte5437 sein Antlitz und aß398 kein Brot3899.

4 And Ahab256 came935 into413 his house1004 heavy5620 and displeased2198 because5921 of the word1697 which834 Naboth5022 the Jezreelite3158 had spoken1696 to413 him: for he had said,559 I will not3808 give5414 thee853 the inheritance5159 of my fathers.1 And he laid him down7901 upon5921 his bed,4296 and turned away5437 853 his face,6440 and would eat398 no3808 bread.3899

5 Da kam935 zu ihm hinein Isebel348, sein Weib802, und redete1696 mit ihm: Was ist‘s398, daß dein Geist7307 so Unmuts ist und daß du nicht Brot3899 issest?

5 But Jezebel348 his wife802 came935 to413 him, and said1696 unto413 him, Why4100 2088 is thy spirit7307 so sad,5620 that thou eatest398 no369 bread?3899

6 Er sprach559 zu2655 ihr: Ich habe1696 mit Naboth5022, dem Jesreeliten3158, geredet und gesagt1696: Gib mir deinen Weinberg3754 um Geld3701; oder, so du Lust dazu hast5414, will ich dir einen andern dafür geben5414. Er aber sprach559: Ich will dir meinen Weinberg3754 nicht geben5414.

6 And he said1696 unto413 her, Because3588 I spoke1696 unto413 Naboth5022 the Jezreelite,3158 and said559 unto him, Give5414 me853 thy vineyard3754 for money;3701 or176 else, if518 it please2654 thee,859 I will give5414 thee another vineyard3754 for8478 it: and he answered,559 I will not3808 give5414 thee853 my vineyard.3754

7 Da sprach559 Isebel348, sein Weib802, zu6213 ihm: Was wäre für ein Königreich4410 in Israel3478, wenn du so tätest? Stehe5414 auf6965 und iß398 Brot3899 und sei gutes Muts3820! Ich will3190 dir den Weinberg3754 Naboths5022, des Jesreeliten3158, verschaffen.

7 And Jezebel348 his wife802 said559 unto413 him, Dost thou859 now6258 govern6213 5921 the kingdom4410 of Israel?3478 arise,6965 and eat398 bread,3899 and let thine heart3820 be merry:3190 I589 will give5414 thee853 the vineyard3754 of Naboth5022 the Jezreelite.3158

8 Und256 sie5612 schrieb3789 Briefe5612 unter Ahabs Namen8034 und versiegelte2856 sie mit seinem Petschier; und sandte7971 sie zu den Ältesten2205 und Obersten2715 in seiner Stadt5892, die um Naboth5022 wohneten.

8 So she wrote3789 letters5612 in Ahab's256 name,8034 and sealed2856 them with his seal,2368 and sent7971 the letters5612 unto413 the elders2205 and to413 the nobles2715 that834 were in his city,5892 dwelling3427 with854 Naboth.5022

9 And she wrote3789 in the letters,5612 saying,559 Proclaim7121 a fast,6685 and set3427 853 Naboth5022 on high7218 among the people: 5971

10 Und582 stellet zween loser Buben vor ihn1100, die3427 da zeugen5749 und1121 sprechen: Du559 hast GOtt430 und dem Könige4428 gesegnet1288. Und führet ihn hinaus3318 und steiniget ihn, daß er sterbe4191.

10 And set3427 two8147 men,376 sons1121 of Belial,1100 before5048 him, to bear witness against5749 him, saying,559 Thou didst blaspheme1288 God430 and the king.4428 And then carry him out,3318 and stone5619 him, that he may die.4191

11 Und5892 die Ältesten2205 und Obersten2715 seiner Stadt5892, die in seiner Stadt3427 wohneten, taten, wie ihnen Isebel348 entboten hatte6213, wie sie582 in den Briefen5612 geschrieben3789 hatte7971, die sie zu ihnen sandte7971.

11 And the men376 of his city,5892 even the elders2205 and the nobles2715 who834 were the inhabitants3427 in his city,5892 did6213 as834 Jezebel348 had sent7971 unto413 them, and as834 it was written3789 in the letters5612 which834 she had sent7971 unto413 them.

12 Und ließen ein Fasten6685 ausschreien7121 und ließen Naboth5022 obenan7218 unter dem Volk5971 sitzen3427.

12 They proclaimed7121 a fast,6685 and set3427 853 Naboth5022 on high7218 among the people.5971

13 Da kamen935 die582 zween losen Buben und1121 stelleten sich3427 vor2351 ihn1100 und68 zeugten5749 wider Naboth5022 vor dem Volk5971 und sprachen559: Naboth5022 hat GOtt430 und dem Könige4428 gesegnet1288. Da führeten sie8147 ihn1100 vor die582 Stadt5892 hinaus3318 und steinigten5619 ihn, daß er starb4191.

13 And there came in935 two8147 men,376 children1121 of Belial,1100 and sat3427 before5048 him: and the men376 of Belial1100 witnessed against5749 him, even against853 Naboth,5022 in the presence5048 of the people,5971 saying,559 Naboth5022 did blaspheme1288 God430 and the king.4428 Then they carried him forth3318 out of4480 2351 the city,5892 and stoned5619 him with stones,68 that he died.4191

14 Und sie5619 entboten7971 Isebel348 und ließen ihr sagen559: Naboth5022 ist gesteiniget und tot4191.

15 Da aber Isebel348 hörete, daß Naboth5022 gesteiniget und256 tot war4191, sprach559 sie5619 zu8085 Anab: Stehe auf6965 und3423 nimm ein den Weinberg3754 Naboths, des Jesreeliten3158, welchen er2416 sich3985 weigerte, dir um Geld3701 zu4191 geben5414. Denn Naboth lebt nimmer, sondern ist tot.

15 And it came to pass,1961 when Jezebel348 heard8085 that3588 Naboth5022 was stoned,5619 and was dead,4191 that Jezebel348 said559 to413 Ahab,256 Arise,6965 take possession3423 of853 the vineyard3754 of Naboth5022 the Jezreelite,3158 which834 he refused3985 to give5414 thee for money:3701 for3588 Naboth5022 is not369 alive,2416 but3588 dead.4191

16 Da Ahab256 hörete, daß Naboth5022 tot war4191, stund er auf6965, daß er hinabginge3381 zum Weinberge3754 Naboths5022, des Jesreeliten3158, und256 ihn einnähme3423.

16 And it came to pass,1961 when Ahab256 heard8085 that3588 Naboth5022 was dead,4191 that Ahab256 rose up6965 to go down3381 to413 the vineyard3754 of Naboth5022 the Jezreelite,3158 to take possession3423 of it.

17 Aber das Wort1697 des HErrn3068 kam zu Elia452, dem Thisbiten, und sprach559:

17 And the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 to413 Elijah452 the Tishbite,8664 saying,559

18 Mache dich3381 auf6965 und3423 gehe hinab3381 Ahab256, dem Könige4428 Israels3478, entgegen7125, der zu Samaria8111 ist. (Siehe, er ist im Weinberge3754 Naboths5022, dahin er ist hinabgegangen, daß er ihn einnehme.)

18 Arise,6965 go down3381 to meet7121 Ahab256 king4428 of Israel,3478 which834 is in Samaria:8111 behold,2009 he is in the vineyard3754 of Naboth,5022 whither834 8033 he is gone down3381 to possess3423 it.

19 Und7523 rede mit ihm und sprich559: So spricht559 der HErr3068: Du559 hast totgeschlagen, dazu auch eingenommen. Und sollst1696 mit ihm reden1696 und sagen559: So spricht der HErr3068: An der Stätte4725, da Hunde3611 das Blut1818 Naboths5022 geleckt haben3423, sollen auch Hunde3611 dein Blut1818 lecken.

19 And thou shalt speak1696 unto413 him, saying,559 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD,3068 Hast thou killed,7523 and also1571 taken possession?3423 And thou shalt speak1696 unto413 him, saying,559 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD,3068 In the place4725 where834 dogs3611 licked3952 853 the blood1818 of Naboth5022 shall dogs3611 lick3952 853 thy blood,1818 even1571 thine.859

20 Und Ahab256 sprach559 zu Elia452: Hast4672 du mich je deinen Feind341 erfunden? Er aber sprach559: Ja, ich habe4672 dich funden, darum daß du verkauft4376 bist, nur Übels7451 zu tun6213 vor5869 dem HErrn3068.

20 And Ahab256 said559 to413 Elijah,452 Hast thou found4672 me, O mine enemy?341 And he answered,559 I have found4672 thee: because3282 thou hast sold4376 thyself to work6213 evil7451 in the sight5869 of the LORD.3068
|
|
21 Siehe, ich will935 Unglück7451 über dich bringen und310 deine Nachkommen wegnehmen1197; und will von Ahab256 ausrotten3772 auch den, der an die Wand7023 pisset und der verschlossen6113 und übergelassen ist in Israel3478.
|
21 Behold,2009 I will bring935 evil7451 upon413 thee, and will take away1197 thy posterity,310 and will cut off3772 from Ahab256 him that pisseth8366 against the wall,7023 and him that is shut up6113 and left5800 in Israel,3478

22 Und1121 will dein Haus1004 machen wie das Haus1004 Jerobeams3379, des Sohns Nebats5028, und1121 wie das Haus1004 Baesas1201, des Sohns Ahias281, um des Reizens willen3708, damit du erzürnet3707 und Israel3478 sündigen2398 gemacht hast5414.

22 And will make5414 853 thine house1004 like the house1004 of Jeroboam3379 the son1121 of Nebat,5028 and like the house1004 of Baasha1201 the son1121 of Ahijah,281 for413 the provocation3708 wherewith834 thou hast provoked me to anger,3707 and made Israel to sin.2398 853 3478

23 Und über Isebel348 redete1696 der HErr3068 auch und sprach559: Die Hunde3611 sollen Isebel348 fressen398 an der Mauer2426 Jesreels3157.

23 And of Jezebel348 also1571 spoke1696 the LORD,3068 saying,559 The dogs3611 shall eat398 853 Jezebel348 by the wall2426 of Jezreel.3157
|
|
24 Wer von Ahab256 stirbt4191 in der Stadt5892, den sollen die Hunde3611 fressen398; und wer auf dem Felde7704 stirbt4191, den sollen die Vögel5775 unter dem Himmel8064 fressen398.
|
24 Him that dieth4191 of Ahab256 in the city5892 the dogs3611 shall eat;398 and him that dieth4191 in the field7704 shall the fowls5775 of the air8064 eat.398

25 Also war niemand, der so gar verkauft4376 wäre, übel zu tun6213 vor5869 dem7451 HErrn3068, als Ahab256; denn sein Weib802 Isebel348 überredete5496 ihn also.
|
25 But7535 there was1961 none3808 like unto Ahab,256 which834 did sell himself4376 to work6213 wickedness7451 in the sight5869 of the LORD,3068 whom834 853 Jezebel348 his wife802 stirred up.5496

26 Und310 er machte6213 sich3212 zum großen3966 Greuel8581, daß er den Götzen1544 nachwandelte, allerdinge, wie die Amoriter567 getan hatten, die der HErr3068 vor6440 den Kindern1121 Israel3478 vertrieben3423 hatte.

26 And he did very3966 abominably8581 in following1980 310 idols,1544 according to all3605 things as834 did6213 the Amorites,567 whom834 the LORD3068 cast out3423 before4480 6440 the children1121 of Israel.3478
|
|
27 Da aber Ahab256 solche Worte1697 hörete, zerriß7167 er seine Kleider899 und1320 legte7760 einen Sack8242 an seinen Leib und fastete6684 und schlief7901 im Sack8242 und ging1980 jämmerlich328 einher.

27 And it came to pass,1961 when Ahab256 heard8085 853 those428 words,1697 that he rent7167 his clothes,899 and put7760 sackcloth8242 upon5921 his flesh,1320 and fasted,6684 and lay7901 in sackcloth,8242 and went1980 softly.328

28 Und das Wort1697 des HErrn3068 kam zu Elia452, dem Thisbiten, und sprach559:

|
29 Hast du nicht7451 gesehen, wie sich Ahab256 vor3117 mir6440 bückete? Weil3282 er sich nun vor3117 mir6440 bückete, will7200 ich das Unglück nicht7451 einführen bei seinem Leben; aber bei seines Sohnes1121 Leben will935 ich Unglück über sein Haus1004 führen935.

29 Seest7200 thou how3588 Ahab256 humbleth himself3665 before4480 6440 me? because3282 3588 he humbleth himself3665 before4480 6440 me, I will not3808 bring935 the evil7451 in his days:3117 but in his son's1121 days3117 will I bring935 the evil7451 upon5921 his house.1004
