2 And he did6213 that which was evil7451 in the sight5869 of the LORD,3068 but not as the kings4428 of Israel3478 that were before6440 him.

|
3 Wider denselben zog5927 herauf Salmanasser, der König4428 zu Assyrien804. Und5650 Hosea1954 ward ihm untertan, daß er ihm Geschenke4503 gab7725.

3 Against5921 him came5927 up Shalmaneser8022 king4428 of Assyria;804 and Hoshea1954 became1961 his servant,5650 and gave7725 him presents.4503

4 Da aber der König4428 zu Assyrien804 inne ward4672, daß Hosea1954 einen Bund7195 anrichtete und Boten4397 hatte6113 zu So5471, dem Könige4428 in8141 Ägypten4714, gesandt7971, und nicht5927 darreichte Geschenke4503 dem Könige4428 zu Assyrien804 alle Jahre8141, belagerte er4428 ihn und legte ihn ins Gefängnis631.

5 Then the king4428 of Assyria804 came5927 up throughout all3605 the land,776 and went5927 up to Samaria,8111 and besieged6696 it three7969 years.8141

6 Und im neunten8671 Jahr8141 Hoseas1954 gewann3920 der König4428 zu Assyrien804 Samaria8111 und führete Israel3478 weg1540 nach Assyrien804 und setzte sie3427 zu Halah2477 und zu Habor2249, am Wasser5104 Gosan1470, und in den Städten5892 der Meder4074.

6 In the ninth8671 year8141 of Hoshea1954 the king4428 of Assyria804 took3920 Samaria,8111 and carried1540 Israel3478 away1540 into Assyria,804 and placed3427 them in Halah2477 and in Habor2249 by the river5104 of Gozan,1470 and in the cities5892 of the Medes.4074

7 For so it was, that the children1121 of Israel3478 had sinned2398 against the LORD3068 their God,430 which had brought5927 them up out of the land776 of Egypt,4714 from under8478 the hand3027 of Pharaoh6547 king4428 of Egypt,4714 and had feared3372 other312 gods,430

8 und wandelten3212 nach der Heiden1471 Weise2708, die der HErr3068 vor6440 den Kindern1121 Israel3478 vertrieben3423 hatte6213, und wie die Könige4428 Israels3478 taten;

8 And walked3212 in the statutes2708 of the heathen,1471 whom834 the LORD3068 cast3423 out from before6440 the children1121 of Israel,3478 and of the kings4428 of Israel,3478 which834 they had made.6213

9 und die Kinder1121 Israel3478 schmückten2644 ihre Sachen1697 wider den HErrn3068, ihren GOtt430, die doch nicht gut waren, nämlich daß sie1129 ihnen Höhen1116 baueten in allen Städten5892, beide in Schlössern und festen4013 Städten5892,

9 And the children1121 of Israel3478 did secretly2644 those things1697 that were not right3651 against5921 the LORD3068 their God,430 and they built1129 them high1116 places in all3605 their cities,5892 from the tower4026 of the watchmen5341 to the fenced4013 city.5892

10 und5324 richteten Säulen4676 auf und Haine842 auf allen hohen1364 Hügeln1389 und unter allen grünen7488 Bäumen6086;

10 And they set5324 them up images4676 and groves842 in every3605 high1364 hill,1389 and under8478 every3605 green7488 tree:6086

|
11 und räucherten6999 daselbst auf1540 allen Höhen1116, wie die Heiden1471, die der HErr3068 vor6440 ihnen weggetrieben hatte6213, und trieben böse7451 Stücke1697, damit sie den HErrn3068 erzürneten;
|
11 And there8033 they burnt6999 incense6999 in all3605 the high1116 places, as did the heathen1471 whom834 the LORD3068 carried1540 away1540 before6440 them; and worked6213 wicked7451 things1697 to provoke the LORD3068 to anger:3707

12 und5647 dieneten den Götzen1544, davon der HErr3068 zu ihnen gesagt559 hatte6213: Ihr sollt solches1697 nicht tun;

12 For they served5647 idols,1544 whereof834 the LORD3068 had said559 to them, You shall not do6213 this2088 thing.1697

13 und wenn der HErr3068 bezeugte5749 in Israel3478 und Juda3063 durch alle Propheten5030 und Schauer und ließ7971 ihnen sagen559: Kehret um7725 von3027 euren bösen7451 Wegen1870 und haltet8104 meine Gebote4687 und Rechte nach allem Gesetz2708, das ich euren Vätern1 geboten6680 habe8451 und das ich zu euch3027 gesandt habe durch meine Knechte5650, die Propheten5030,

13 Yet the LORD3068 testified5749 against Israel,3478 and against Judah,3063 by all3605 the prophets,5030 and by all3605 the seers,2374 saying,559 Turn7725 you from your evil7451 ways,1870 and keep8104 my commandments4687 and my statutes,2708 according to all3605 the law8451 which834 I commanded6680 your fathers,1 and which834 I sent7971 to you by my servants5650 the prophets.5030

14 so gehorchten8085 sie nicht, sondern härteten7185 ihren Nacken6203, wie der Nacken6203 ihrer Väter1, die nicht glaubeten an den HErrn3068 ihren GOtt430;

14 Notwithstanding they would not hear,8085 but hardened7185 their necks,6203 like to the neck6203 of their fathers,1 that did not believe539 in the LORD3068 their God.430

|
15 dazu verachteten sie3988 seine Gebote und seinen Bund1285, den er mit ihren Vätern1 gemacht3772 hatte6680, und seine Zeugnisse5715, die er unter ihnen tat5749, sondern wandelten3212 ihrer Eitelkeit1892 nach310 und wurden eitel1891 den Heiden1471 nach310, die um sie her5439 wohneten, von welchen ihnen der HErr3068 geboten2706 hatte6213, sie sollten nicht wie sie tun;

15 And they rejected3988 his statutes,2706 and his covenant1285 that he made3772 with their fathers,1 and his testimonies5715 which834 he testified5749 against them; and they followed3212 310 vanity,1892 and became1891 vain,1891 and went3212 after310 the heathen1471 that were round5439 about them, concerning whom834 the LORD3068 had charged6680 them, that they should not do6213 like them.

16 aber sie5800 verließen alle Gebote4687 des HErrn3068, ihres Gottes430, und6213 machten ihnen zwei8147 gegossene4541 Kälber5695 und6213 Haine842; und5647 beteten an7812 alle Heere6635 des Himmels8064 und dieneten Baal1168;

16 And they left5800 all3605 the commandments4687 of the LORD3068 their God,430 and made6213 them molten4541 images, even two8147 calves,5695 and made6213 a grove,842 and worshipped7812 all3605 the host6635 of heaven,8064 and served5647 Baal.1168

17 und ließen ihre Söhne1121 und Töchter1323 durchs Feuer784 gehen5674 und gingen mit7080 Weissagen7081 und Zaubern5172 um; und übergaben sich4376 zu tun6213, das dem7451 HErrn3068 übel gefiel, ihn5869 zu erzürnen3707;

17 And they caused their sons1121 and their daughters1323 to pass5674 through the fire,784 and used divination7081 and enchantments,5172 and sold4376 themselves to do6213 evil7451 in the sight5869 of the LORD,3068 to provoke him to anger.3707

18 da ward der HErr3068 sehr3966 zornig599 über Israel3478 und tat5493 sie von6440 seinem Angesicht, daß nichts überblieb denn der Stamm7626 Juda3063 alleine.
|
18 Therefore the LORD3068 was very3966 angry599 with Israel,3478 and removed5493 them out of his sight:6440 there was none3808 left7604 but the tribe7626 of Judah3063 only.905

|
19 Dazu hielt auch Juda3063 nicht die Gebote4687 des HErrn3068, ihres Gottes430, und wandelten3212 nach den Sitten2708 Israels3478, die sie8104 getan6213 hatten.
|
19 Also1571 Judah3063 kept8104 not the commandments4687 of the LORD3068 their God,430 but walked3212 in the statutes2708 of Israel3478 which834 they made.6213
|
|
20 Darum verwarf der HErr3068 allen Samen2233 Israels3478 und drängete sie3988 und gab5414 sie in6440 die Hände3027 der Räuber8154, bis daß er7993 sie verwarf von seinem Angesicht.
|
20 And the LORD3068 rejected3988 all3605 the seed2233 of Israel,3478 and afflicted6031 them, and delivered5414 them into the hand3027 of spoilers,8154 until5704 he had cast7993 them out of his sight.6440

21 Denn Israel3478 ward gerissen7167 vom Hause1004 Davids1732; und310 sie machten4427 zum Könige Jerobeam3379, den Sohn1121 Nebats5028. Derselbe wandte Israel3478 hinten ab5080 vom HErrn3068 und machte, daß sie schwerlich sündigten2398.

21 For he rent7167 Israel3478 from the house1004 of David;1732 and they made6213 Jeroboam3379 the son1121 of Nebat5028 king:4427 and Jeroboam3379 drove5074 Israel3478 from following310 the LORD,3068 and made6213 them sin2401 a great1419 sin.2401

22 Also wandelten die Kinder1121 Israel3478 in allen Sünden2403 Jerobeams, die er3379 angerichtet hatte6213, und ließen nicht5493 davon3212,

22 For the children1121 of Israel3478 walked3212 in all3605 the sins2403 of Jeroboam3379 which834 he did;6213 they departed5493 not from them;
|
|
23 bis der HErr3068 Israel3478 von3027 seinem Angesicht tat5493, wie er geredet hatte1696 durch alle seine Knechte5650, die Propheten5030. Also ward Israel3478 aus seinem Lande127 weggeführet nach Assyrien804 bis auf6440 diesen Tag3117.

23 Until5704 the LORD3068 removed5493 Israel3478 out of his sight,6440 as he had said1696 by all3605 his servants5650 the prophets.5030 So was Israel3478 carried1540 away1540 out of their own land127 to Assyria804 to this2088 day.3117

24 Der König4428 aber zu Assyrien804 ließ kommen935 von Babel894, von Kutha3575, von Ava, von Hemath und Sepharvaim5617 und besetzte die3427 Städte5892 in Samaria8111 anstatt der Kinder1121 Israel3478. Und sie3427 nahmen3423 Samaria8111 ein und wohneten in derselben Städten5892.

24 And the king4428 of Assyria804 brought935 men from Babylon,894 and from Cuthah,3575 and from Ava,5755 and from Hamath,2574 and from Sepharvaim,5617 and placed3427 them in the cities5892 of Samaria8111 instead8478 of the children1121 of Israel:3478 and they possessed3423 Samaria,8111 and dwelled3427 in the cities5892 thereof.

25 Da sie2026 aber anhuben, daselbst zu wohnen3427, und den HErrn3068 nicht fürchteten3372, sandte7971 der HErr3068 Löwen738 unter sie, die erwürgeten sie.

25 And so it was at the beginning8462 of their dwelling3427 there,8033 that they feared3372 not the LORD:3068 therefore the LORD3068 sent7971 lions738 among them, which slew2026 some of them.

26 Und sie559 ließen dem Könige4428 zu Assyrien804 sagen559: Die Heiden1471, die du hast hergebracht und die Städte5892 Samarias8111 damit besetzt, wissen3045 nichts von der Weise4941 des Gottes430 im Lande776; darum hat1540 er Löwen738 unter sie3427 gesandt7971, und siehe, dieselben töten4191 sie, weil sie nicht wissen3045 um die Weise4941 des Gottes430 im Lande776.

26 Why they spoke559 to the king4428 of Assyria,804 saying,559 The nations1471 which834 you have removed,1540 and placed3427 in the cities5892 of Samaria,8111 know3045 not the manner4941 of the God430 of the land:776 therefore he has sent7971 lions738 among them, and, behold,2009 they slay4191 them, because834 they know3045 not the manner4941 of the God430 of the land.776

27 Der König4428 zu Assyrien804 gebot6680 und3548 sprach559: Bringet dahin1540 der Priester einen259, die von dannen sind weggeführet, und ziehet3212 hin3212 und wohnet daselbst; und er3384 lehre sie3427 die Weise4941 des Gottes430 im Lande776.

27 Then the king4428 of Assyria804 commanded,6680 saying,559 Carry1980 thither8033 one259 of the priests3548 whom834 you brought1540 from there;8033 and let them go3212 and dwell3427 there,8033 and let him teach3384 them the manner4941 of the God430 of the land.776

28 Da kam935 der Priester einer259, die von Samaria8111 weggeführet waren1540, und3548 setzte sich3427 zu Bethel und lehrete sie, wie sie den HErrn3068 fürchten3372 sollten.

28 Then one259 of the priests3548 whom834 they had carried1540 away1540 from Samaria8111 came935 and dwelled3427 in Bethel,1008 and taught3384 them how349 they should fear3372 the LORD.3068
|
|
29 Aber ein jeglich Volk1471 machte6213 seinen GOtt430 und6213 taten3240 sie3427 in die Häuser1004 auf den Höhen1116, die die Samariter8118 machten, ein jeglich Volk1471 in ihren Städten5892, darinnen sie wohneten.
|
29 However, every nation1471 made6213 gods430 of their own, and put3240 them in the houses1004 of the high1116 places which834 the Samaritans8118 had made,6213 every nation1471 in their cities5892 wherein834 8033 they dwelled.3427

30 Die582 von Babel894 machten6213 Suchoth-Benoth5524. Die582 von Chuth machten6213 Nergel. Die582 von Hemath machten6213 Asima807.
|
30 And the men582 of Babylon894 made6213 Succothbenoth,5524 and the men582 of Cuth3575 made6213 Nergal,5370 and the men582 of Hamath2574 made6213 Ashima,807

31 Die von Ava machten Nibehas5026 und6213 Tharthak8662. Die von Sepharvaim5616 verbrannten8313 ihre Söhne1121 dem Adramelech und430 Anamelech, den Göttern derer von Sepharvaim5617.
|
31 And the Avites5757 made6213 Nibhaz5026 and Tartak,8662 and the Sepharvites5616 burnt8313 their children1121 in fire784 to Adrammelech152 and Anammelech,6048 the gods430 of Sepharvaim.5617

32 Und3548 weil sie den HErrn3068 auch fürchteten3373, machten sie ihnen7098 Priester auf den Höhen1116 aus den Untersten unter ihnen und6213 taten6213 sie in die Häuser1004 auf den Höhen1116.
|
32 So they feared3373 the LORD,3068 and made6213 to themselves of the lowest7098 of them priests3548 of the high1116 places, which1961 sacrificed6213 for them in the houses1004 of the high1116 places.
|
|
33 Also fürchteten3373 sie den HErrn3068 und5647 dieneten auch den Göttern430 nach eines jeglichen Volks1471 Weise4941, von dannen sie hergebracht waren1540.
|
33 They feared3373 the LORD,3068 and served5647 their own gods,430 after the manner4941 of the nations1471 whom834 they carried1540 away1540 from there.8033
|
|
34 Und bis auf diesen Tag3117 tun6213 sie6680 nach der alten7223 Weise4941, daß sie weder den HErrn3068 fürchten3373 noch ihre Sitten2708 und Rechte4941 tun6213 nach dem Gesetz8451 und Gebot4687, das der HErr3068 geboten hat7760 den Kindern1121 Jakobs3290, welchem er den Namen8034 Israel3478 gab,

34 To this2088 day3117 they do6213 after the former7223 manners:4941 they fear3373 not the LORD,3068 neither369 do6213 they after their statutes,2708 or after their ordinances,4941 or after the law8451 and commandment4687 which834 the LORD3068 commanded6680 the children1121 of Jacob,3290 whom834 he named8034 Israel;3478

35 und3068 machte3772 einen Bund1285 mit ihnen und gebot6680 ihnen und sprach559: Fürchtet3372 keine andern312 Götter430 und betet sie nicht an7812 und dienet5647 ihnen nicht und opfert2076 ihnen nicht,

35 With whom the LORD3068 had made3772 a covenant,1285 and charged6680 them, saying,559 You shall not fear3372 other312 gods,430 nor3808 bow7812 yourselves to them, nor3808 serve5647 them, nor3808 sacrifice2076 to them:

36 sondern den HErrn3068, der euch3372 aus Ägyptenland776 geführet hat mit großer1419 Kraft3581 und ausgerecktem5186 Arm2220, den fürchtet, den betet7812 an5927 und dem opfert2076;
|
36 But the LORD,3068 who834 brought5927 you up out of the land776 of Egypt4714 with great1419 power3581 and a stretched5186 out arm,2220 him shall you fear,3372 and him shall you worship,7812 and to him shall you do sacrifice.2076
|
|
37 und die Sitten, Rechte4941, Gesetze2706 und Gebote8451, die er euch3372 hat beschreiben lassen3789, die haltet8104, daß ihr danach tut6213 allewege3117 und nicht andere312 Götter430 fürchtet;
|
37 And the statutes,2706 and the ordinances,4941 and the law,8451 and the commandment,4687 which834 he wrote3789 for you, you shall observe8104 to do6213 for ever more;3605 3117 and you shall not fear3372 other312 gods.430

|
38 und des Bundes1285, den er mit euch3372 gemacht3772 hat, vergesset nicht7911, daß ihr nicht andere312 Götter430 fürchtet,

38 And the covenant1285 that I have made3772 with you you shall not forget;7911 neither3808 shall you fear3372 other312 gods.430
|
|
39 sondern fürchtet den HErrn3068, euren GOtt430, der wird euch3372 erretten5337 von3027 allen euren Feinden341.
|
39 But the LORD3068 your God430 you shall fear;3372 and he shall deliver5337 you out of the hand3027 of all3605 your enemies.341
|
|
40 Aber diese gehorchten8085 nicht, sondern taten6213 nach ihrer vorigen7223 Weise4941.
|
40 However, they did not listen,8085 but they did6213 after their former7223 manner.4941
|
|
41 Also fürchteten3373 diese Heiden1471 den HErrn3068 und1121 dieneten auch ihren Götzen6456. Also taten621 auch ihre Kinder1121 und1121 Kindeskinder, wie ihre Väter1 getan6213 haben5647, bis auf diesen Tag3117.
|
41 So these428 nations1471 feared3373 the LORD,3068 and served5647 their graven6456 images, both1571 their children,1121 and their children's1121 children:1121 as did6213 their fathers,1 so do6213 they to this2088 day.3117
